Wading in the water

[Blackpelt ~ Pippin]

Blackpelt stared out at the river. She knew better then to cross enemy teritory, but she had never swam before! Checking to make sure she wasn't being watched, she parted her jaws. Then, she streakeed down to the waters edge. She dabbe in a paw. As she waded into the fast water an idea struck her. what fun it would be to teach her apprentice to swim! but not at this river. Blackpelt stopped and enjoyed the feel of the water running past her fur.

"What are you ding here, ThunderClan cat!" Hissed Picklepelt, standing infront of her daughter, Teakit, who she was taking to see the River. " mama, who is that?" Asked Teakit, her cresent moon marking glowing a snow- white around her crystal blue eye.

[Blackpelt ~ Pippin]

"Uh-oh." Blackpelt breathed. "Sorry!" she called to the angry queen.

'You better be1" growled Picklepelt, anger shown in her forest-green orbs. "H-hi!" mewed teakit to the black she-cat, not being so scared as she was.

Blackpelt laughed nervously. "Hi!" she meowed to the kit.

Picklepelt looked at Teakit strangly, but then turned back to Blackpelt. " it seems that my daughter likes you, that is very rare." She mewed. Teakit padded into the shallows. " i want to go play with her!" She mewed.

Blackpelt smiled affectionately at the she-kit. She loved younger cats! She looked up at Picklepelt, no longer afraid. "May I play with her?" she asked. "I won't harm her!"

"Sure. teakit dosen't have very many friends, so shes always with me." mewed picklepelt as she picked up teakit and took her across the river to where Blackpelt was. Teakit padded over to Blackpelt and started trying to bat at her muzzle.

Blackpelt laughed with delight and gently rolled the kit over. "How old is she?"

"She's about six moons, i know she dosen't look it.' replied Picklepelt as she watched Her daughter riggle out from under blackpelt's paw.

[Blackpelt ~ Pippin]

"Six moons! Your ready to be an apprentice!" Blackpelt exclaimed so as to please the kit and queen.

[Streampelt]

^{A silver ball of furry scratched at the Black cats face "Get Out of Riverclan!" meowed the small apprentice.Streampaw had to gather all her loyalty and bravery to protect her clan.The silvery kitten looked like her father in many ways and she wanted to act like him to,so brave and loyal.Streampaws silverfur looked like a shiny wet rock.Her glossy fur blew grasefuly in the wind as she crouched down like she was hunting "go" she hissed her fur already rising and claws extended}

Blackpelt looked at the apprentice in surprise. "I'm sorry." she meowed. Then she looked nervously at Picklepelt.

[Streampelt]

^{Streamkit launched herslef once more at the black cat "now!"}

Blackpelt hissed. Then in a strong blow, she sent the kit tumblinng.

[Streampelt]

^{The young apprentice got up swiftly then ran at her attacker's leggs and made the black cat fell to the ground.}

Blackpelt, who was ready to fight now, leaped to her paws and pinned the apprentice to the ground so she couldn't move. She snarled viciously. "Knock it off, kit!" she spat.

^{Streampaw had just gotten back from her visit with hre grandmother,Moonstar and she knew her brothers and sisters where near.Streampaw racked her back claws at the black cat's belly.Then gave her battle cry she gave so many times when she played with her family.}

Blackpelt hissed and wacked her head to make her be quiet. "I'll go! A cat can't even play with a kit when the very mother gives it permission!" Then muttering and growling, Blackpelt got off the apprentice.

[Streampelt]

^{Strampaw just hissed "You stupided cat,You smell of kitty-pet that must be why you crossed terrras." hissed the apprentice.}

Blackpelt layed her ears back in anger. "Of course I smell of kittypet! I just barely joined ThunderClan from my Twoleg home!" she spat.

Streampaw's fur prickled and she lowerd her body to the earth then She Yowled again warrning any cats near of the cat.

Blackpelt hissed in annoyance. "Calm down now." she ordered. "We don't want to set a bad example for the little one." Suddenly remebering Teakit, Blackpelt turned to look at her sympathetically.

[Streampelt]

^{Streampaw launched at the black cat and landed on her back her claws dingging into the cat's pelt.}

Blackpelt yowled in outrage. "What's wrong with you?!" she demanded and shook her from her back and placed hard paws and claws into the apprentice's belly. "Stop! Or I'll do worse damage to you than before!"

[Streampelt]

Blackpelt stepped back in alarm. The smell of blood had reached her.

Blackpelt hissed and begane to run. when she had reached the border she looked back to look at Teakit and Picklepelt with sad eyes.
