Splashheart snarled "Get back you don't stand a chance!" She said advancing with Elkpaw

Elkpaw rolled his eyes at his Clan mates. "Look, it's an apprentice, I can do this alone." he meowed demandingly.

[Ferny]

Splashheart stood straight again "ok" she said baking off "I am here if you need help" she said she did not want to upset him so that is why she backed off so quickly

Elkpaw flashed Bloodclaw a look, then turned his attention on Nightpaw. "You and me, ThunderClan. What do you say?" he hissed.

Splashheart sat to watch Elkpaw and Nightpaw

Fernleaf could not help to hear voices by the river so she came over there "Nightpaw!" she gasped then walked over and stood next to him and growlled

A glitter came into the RiverClan apprentice's eyes. Fun, fun! Two TC kitties to fight with!

" I say yes!" Nightpaw smiled smugly. This cat didn't stand a chance against her! " Fernleaf, get back! I can handle this; I have a great teacher."

Fernleaf growled "I'm a warrior Apprentice take your chance" she lashed her tail from side to side

"Scary!" Elkpaw yowled in challenge. He advanced a couple of pawsteps. "When your ready!" he spat. This was sport and fun to him.

[Ferny]

Fernleaf shook her head "I don't want to fight Nightpaw lets go you have training to do" she said to her apprentice

[Nightfur and Co.]

" Fernleaf, this can be training!" Nightpaw pleaded, advancing on her fellow apprentice. This would be easy- if only her mother could see her now! Suddenly, she pounced, not even trying to keep her claws sheathed.

"Nightpaw you can fight but if it gets out of hand"

Sapphirepaw and Darkkit watched from the sidelines, hidden by the brush. *If this is a competition for clans, then I'm in.* Darkkit stepped out on thunderclan terra, hissing menacingly. Sapphirepaw raced out behind her, just as angry. They both padded casually over to Fernleaf and Nightpaw, Darkkit flashing discreet and threatening looks over her shoulder at the riverclan cats.

Darkkit leaned over to Fernleaf. "Fern, this is silly, don't let them get into a fight when they're not even crossing over eachother's terra's. Control Nightpaw." she relented. "If you can't, then my sister and I will be here to fight if it gets out of hand." she whispered fiercely into her friend's ear, without showing any emotion on her face for the benefit of riverclan.

Sapphirepaw went to stand by her fellow apprentice, Nightpaw. "Don't do this Nightpaw..." she murmured quietly, so only Night could hear. "You know I can't control Darkkit, and she doesn't have the proper training to fight if this turns into a fray." she pleaded, hoping to stop the fight, but without much hope in her stubborn friend.

Fernleaf looked at Darkkit "She will be stoped but if I can't stop him" she paused letting out a sigh "She will have to learn the hard way"

Fernleaf waked Nightpaw on the side as a warning as she pounced

Elkpaw took Night's attack eaSILY. hE GRABBED HER SHOULDERS AS BEST HE WAS ABLE AND BIT HER CHEEK. (AUGH! caps lock!)

Nightpaw screamed in pain at the burn in her cheek, but this quickly turned into anger. She flipped her slim body so she would land on her back with Elkpaw beneath her. Her dark fur hid strong muscles that bunched to make her attack hurt more.

Sapphirepaw watched the fray intensely, waiting to see if Nightpaw would need any help.

Darkkit kneaded the ground anxiously, desperate to join in.

Elkpaw kicked at Nightpaw. He wasn't worried or angry. It was calmness. He was having more fun than anything else. He laughed smugly, "Fun, eh? Haven't faught like this in a bit!"

[Nightfur and Co.]

" Oh, yeah, it's so much fun fighting for your life!" Nightpaw growled, almost laughing despite herself. She knew this apprentice wouldn't really hurt her, even though he was from RiverClan. She flipped back on her feet and faced Elkpaw, a taunting smile playing her soft features. Come an' get me, RiverClan. She thought. Then, in a whisper, "Mess with the fire, and you will surely get burned."

[Blackpelt ~ Pippin]

Elkpaw looked around mockingly. "Fire? What fire?" he smiled at her. "Don't play with elks, ThunderClan." He crouched low and circled her. His amber eyes glinted and his muscles moved silkily under his brown tabby pelt.

[Nightfur and Co.]

Nightpaw's mouth cracked into a small half-smile. " I don't see any elks. Just one small RiverClan cat who needs to learn his place!" Her emerald eyes followed his every move as she circled with Elkpaw, glinting with a feeling the black apprentice hasn't felt in a long time. Happiness brought out by fun.

[Ferny]

Fernleaf stood and smacked at Nightpaw claws shethed "Nightpaw lets go he has more experiance than you" she continued batting Nightpaw on the side "Now!" she growlled

Elkpaw hissed with pleasure. "Hear your mentor? Better get running. We can finish this later." he blniked his eyes and sat up, curling his tail over his paws.

Nightpaw slowly backed off, glaring at Fernleaf under hooded eyes. Before she got too far from Elkpaw, she meowed so only he could hear, " Pick a time and place, and I'll be there. Use any messenger you want." Like Snowpelt, she added silently. She knew he had been sneaking around to see Darkstorm- they were mates now, and kits may soon be born. The black aprentice just hoped Elkpaw knew that. Nodding politely, she stalked off, a glare still seen in her now darkened eyes which was directed at her mentor. She was going to have a talk with her when they went home, oh, yes.
