Lightkit kept running until she reached the river. Tears were streaming down her face, and blood pumped in her ears. Anger tore at her heart; who knew she could get mad so easily? Elkpaw had angered her. As she lay down by the river and looked into the flowing water, she once mroe wished that the sun would set and the stars would come, showing StarClan was listening.

" Why....why can't you talk to me now?" She whispered. " I need help, StarClan, and right now I'd do anything for you to say something with the sun high."

Splashheart had been standing a little ways away and saw Lightkit run out of camp crying
So hoping to calm Lightkit she followed. "Light kit" Splashheart said in a soft voice "Are you alright?"

Lightkit was startled by Splashheart, but she quickly composed herself. " I'm fine, Splashheart." SHe mewed, whiping her tears away with a paw. " I'm just...mad at the moment."

"Want to talk about it?" Splashheart asked quietly as she sat down next to Lightkit

" I don't know..." Lightkit whimpered, burying her face in Splashheart's fur. " StarClan doesn't care about me anymore." She sobbed. " We used to talk all the time, and now, when I need them most, they aren't listening."

Splashheart liked the top of Lightkits head and replied "You can alwayse talk to me about it, that is if you want to"

" I would, but I don't know if I can." The grooming Splashheart gave her calmed Lightkit, but tears still streamed from her cheeks.

"Why can't you?" Splashheart asked in a friendly tone. "You can normally find me around camp if I am not hunting or patroling."

" I don't usually talk to cats about my problems. " Lightkit said slowly. " I've talked to my mother about some things, but StarClan has other plans for me."

"Well you can alwayse start" Splashheart replied in a kind voice "I mean if you don't want to talk to your mother or StarClan won't respond, Well I just want to let you know that you can come to me"

" Thanks." Lightkit mewed into Splashheart's fur. " I just want some friends...I tried with Elkpaw, but he's jsut so stubborn..."

"I would have to agree with you there, I don't think he is nice to anyone" "But I guess we are about on the same page, the only friend I have in RiverClan is Whisper the Wanderer" "So I feel alone alot" Splashheart replied in a kind voice.

Blackthorn was jumping from tree to tree,when she smelt then sent of a kit she stoped.Blackthorn jumped down from the tree she was in and faced the two other cats.Her beautiful black and white fur ruffled in the wind and the sent of rouge filled the air.(*PSSST* she is like the second deputy of to rouges)[/glow]

" Splashheart, look!" Lightkit's eyes hardened at the rogue. " Get off RIverCLan terra!" She hissed feircely. Just because she was a kit doesn't mean she couldn't protect her territory.

"Ya get off, you have no bussiness here!" Splashheart Sapt again except this time fluffing up her fur and standing up.

"So what are doing here, Is'nt it a long way from your home?" Splashheart said still sounding threatining.

" And we care why?" Lightkit stood proudly by the RiverClan warrior, waiting for the rogue to attack. All stories said they were viscious, but StarCLan was telling her otherwise...StarCLan! StarClan was talking to her again! " She means us no harm." Her hackles fell and she stepped forward. " What do you want here?"

Splashheart sat down again also feeling that she ment no harm "So what do you want?" She asked kind of confused
"So are you a loner?" and "I am confused what is a night walker?"

" You still haven't told us why you are here." Lightkit asked hesitantly.

"I have spoken with StarClan too and they also tell me that you mean no harm" Splashheart replied in a kind voice "But you still did not answer our question, What are you doing here?"

Flattining her ears Splashheart replied in a harsh voice "Well it's not like I new what was going on!" "For StarClans sake I don't even know you!" Her voice lowering down too her normal kind voice "and I just asked."

" StarClan does speak with me, yes." Lightkit said quietly. " Why is your soul with StarClan? Shouldn't it be in your body?"
