Northkit released Scar's ear and lept at his hindpaws, seaking a better hold. She was careful not to show it, but the kit could feel herself tireing fast. I hope I can hold out, she thought nervously.

[glow=red,4,000]Dragonheart finally came to the battle. He had got lost. He saw a kit fighting a huge rouge warrior and jumped on top of the rouge and knocked him down. "Run!" He told the kit, then turned back to the intruder. With great anger spuring him on he swiped at Scar. He tried to get to Scar's tummy, but the rouge was strong and he just couldn't quite make it.[/glow]

Northkit hated the fact she was still a kit. No one thinks I can take care of myself!!!!! She thought savagly. Well, we'll see about that! Indignation helping her to catch her second wind, Northkit launched herself onto the rouges back and bit down hard. If only I still lived in the lands of forever snow.... No one thought I couldn't take care of myself then! But she kept her repley in her head.

Snowpelt shook his head, now on the edge of the battle. " There's no use in telling her to run, Dragonheart." He yowled over the fray. " She's not from around here, and she's too firey for her own good!" He chuckled at the thought. Northkit had spunk...somrhting his little friend Lightkit needed.

Northkit smiled inwardly, now how did he know that? Oh well. She thuoght as her claws sunk deeper into the rouge's pelt.

Elkpaw faught viciously. He was thron up against Scar, knocking him down. He yowled in wild protest, flinging himself back at the rogue that had senthim flying. "Die, scum! Fear the RiverClan!!!!"

Splasheart turned and looked around the clearing and with a feroucious yowl she launched her self onto Blood
Blood yowlled in pain as Splashheart bit into his shoulder which sent him running "retreat! retreat! " he yowlled and with that Fang, Scratch, Scar, and the others scrambled away and took off.

Dragonheart realised that they had won and looked at the others happily. "Northkit you should really get a mentor, you're a really good fighter." He said pleased that the clan had such great kits. "Is everyone okay?" He asked. Most cats had scraches, but he couldn't see anything serious. "Lets get back to camp."[/glow]

Snowpelt got up and checked everyone over, starting with Northkit and licking her few wounds. " Maybe Stormstar'll let you become an apprentice!" He whispered in her ear. " Once we tell him of the fight." He moved on to Splashheart, smiling. " You fought well, Splashheart." He meowed to her before looking at Elkpaw.
" I'll make sure Stormstar knows of this fight, and I'll recomend you to him as a warrior. Even though I'm not your mentor, you fought well, everycat fought well, and our leader will know of it. Now, let's go home."
After his little speech, the white tom started to walk back to camp. Though he did little, he would tell Darkstorm of it. Once he had the time. He had one scratch on his hind leg which could easily be taken care of. Right now he just wanted to get home.
(( Snowpelt likes to take authority once in a while, so if this offends any of you in any way, please let me know and I'll modify this post.))

Northkit trotted off in the direction of the camp, her exaustion after the fight had a firm grip on her, and it bothered her more than the scratches the rouges had left on her. Well, maybe Lightkit will have noticed I left.... She thought drowsily.

Elkpaw shuffled his paws slightly at Snowpelt's compliments, and for once didn't complain about being ordered. Could he really be a warrior?!
