Rainpaw wander aimlessly around the apprentice den she was starting to get a little annoyed with the fact that she had know mentor. She thought back to her kit hood as she flopped down in her nest. She wondered if her brother could still be alive and where he could possibly be. I guess he would be in WindClan if he is even alive. She sighed and looked around that the empty den and and began to feel depressed she set her head on her paws and would of started to cry if she could have. She had suddenly been overwhelm at how totally alone she was; no mother, no father, no siblings, no friends.

Splashheart peeked into the Apprentices den, She had no apprentice and nothing else to do. "Hi Rainpaw" she whispered "You ok?"

Rainpaw looke up at the sound of a vioce, "I'm Ok, I guess." she mewed quietly, not sure what to say she mewed, "Do you need me for something?"

Rainpaw shook her head and meowed, "Not really, I'm just frusterated. Stormstar hasn't given me a mentor, so I can't go tain or anything." She looked away and began to wash her tortishell tail to give herself distraction from her anger and frusation.

Whisperclaw padded in. After seeing Splashheart's tail disappear into the Apprentice Den, she decided to follow. She smiled at the young apprentice before her. "Hello, Rainpaw! How are you?"

"Hello," mewed Rainpaw dipping her head respectfully,"I'm alright." She reponded to Wisperclaw, We were just talkin about mentors," she was hoping that she could possibly go out for a hunting lesson with one of the warriors, but she didn't ask.

Whisperclaw could tell something was wrong, and to lift the apprentice's spirits, she said joyfully, "Want to go on a hunting trip sometime?"

"OK," mewed Rainpaw, "But I'll need a little help, I have only hunted once or twice and I have never had a lesson." This was another thing the bugged her about being without a mentor. She couldn't do anything that apprentices usally did.

Rainpaw looked over in surprise as the other warrior came into the den. "What's the matter?" she asked curoisly. The cat seemed very unset about something.

"What?!" yowled Rainpaw in shock. She hadn't known Bloddclaw, but she was sure that the warriors would have. She wondered if he had been depressed about soemthing like her.

Splashheart stood, quiet and not moving.Bloodheart had helped her and Northpaw when the Rougs were attacking them. He was nice, and everything. "What?" she said quietly "Are you.....serious"

Rainpaw padded up to he warrior and licked the top of head comfortingly. She knew how it hurt to loss a friend or sibling. She purred sadly trying to comfort the cat.

Whisperclaw shook her head in sympathy. "Friends, this is a tragedy. I knew Bloodclaw, but I feel almost no depression over his death. It is a sad thing, but he has been know to attack cats in the past, his own clan mates." She glanced at her own leg, which had been inflicted permanently by his friends, and some other scars that were done by him.
