Melodybrook padded up to the large group of cats. She mewed, "I'm going Thunder." And walked over to her mother, Swiftfoot, a simalar looking siamese patteren with a different shade of blue eyes, and gave her a lick on he shoulder. This was going o be a bloddy battle of life... and death, and Melodybrook preferred to fight in it rather then wait for Stormstar.

[glow=red,2,300]Autumnleaf looked shyly at the big, handsome tom. "I'm coming." She replied quietly.[/glow]

[glow=hotpink,2,300]Springblossom turned to Autumnleaf to argue with her that she was still in shock, and caught the look that they exchanged. The young warrior stared suspiciously at her sister, then decided to let her go. "I'll come, too!" She replied eagerly, wanting to fight, and keep an eye on Autumn.[/glow]

[Swiftfoot[Is Leaving]]

Swiftfoot looked down at the kit from her first litter."I'm proud of you."She whispered, returning the lick. With that, she nodded a goodbye to them and began to pad back into the nursery.

[Thunder]

Thunder smiled at AutumLeaf, happy to have her along. Although thier relationship wasn't official, Thunder had grown very fond of the pretty young she-cat.
looking over to Springblossom, he nodded his head respectfully. "Thankyou both for coming along! " he meowed kindly.

Silvershadow nodded to Swiftfoot and Melodybrook. "Melodybrook. Good luck." His relationship to his kits weren't anywhere near his and Moonstar's was, but he still loved each of them to death..

Dreamtail walked from the warrior's den, not knowing what was going on, but hearing about a patrol going out. His sister and parents were there too. "I'll go." he yawned sleepily. "But, where am I going?"

Northpaw heard what the call from highrock but hadn't come out right away once she realized it wasn't Stormstar. After she had listened for as long as she could bear she burst out, "YOU'RE ALL BEING MOUSE-BRAINED!" she took a moment to calm herself then continued, "What do you hope to accomplish? Running off to battle without a plan? You're out numbered at least ten to one, you'll al needlessly be killed, or worse taken as prisoners to force the Clan to surrender!" They won't listen to me because I'm just an apprentice, they will say I don't know what I'm talking about, because they don't know... Because they don't know what happened the last time, and I can't let that happen again. "We couldn't win if we tried to fight them head-on, but we can stall for time and whiddle down thier numbers if we place certain.... obstacles.... In thier path."

"Think you dad." Melodybrook gave him a quick lick on his shoulder, considering that she couldn't reach his head, and turned to Dreamtail, and gave him a lick on the shoulder as luck as well. "Dreamtail, were going to battle angaist the attacking rogues. Ther're invading our territory!" She replied in his question.

[glow=hotpink,2,300]Springblossom turned to Northpaw, her best friend in the Clan. She considered what she had said, then padded toward her and replied quietly, "Reporting for duty, Grasshopper! Whatdoya want me to do?"[/glow]

Dreamtail grinned truimptantly. "Once we lessened the numbers, we could push some in the river. They can't swim can they?" He mused aloud, pondering the group of attackees and their sharp fangs and such. It was going ro be a fun battle!

[Northland]

Northpaw was verrrrrrrry greatful to Springblossom. "Well....." said Northpaw sheepishly, "Does anyone know how to set a noose-trap? Or a bramble-fall?" There where others she knew how to make, and they would probably be more affective, but they didn't have the time if what Thunder said was true.

[Swiftfoot[Is Leaving]]

Torrentheart faced the apprentice, the small cat voicing her own fears. Would Stormstar hate them all after? Would they all make it out alive? Questions flew in and out of her mind like a speeding monster and Torrentheart had to shake her head to clear it."Northpaw.."She started, her greeneyes softening."We all know if we wait for Stormstar very much longer...it can be too late."She regretted saying the words, for fear of scaring the others but she also knew they had to be said."We can wait as long as possible for other cats to join in...but we'll have to leave sometime."At Northpaw's question about traps, Torrentheart gave her a confused look, not knowing what they were.

"I'm not suggesting that we wait, quite the opposite. But if we're going to do any good we have to have a plan." She knew full to wel the consequences of waiting to long. "Noose-traps are something two-legs came up with in a way, but if we change it slightly it will work for us to. We take spider silk and make it into a thick rope and... But maybe we don't have time for that either. Bramble-falls will be a long-shot to if there already in our territory still...." Towards the end Northpaw seemed to be talking more to herself than to the others.

Blackthorn was afraid if she said something to anger her clan mates to be, she might never fit in with the clan. Blackthorn sight, what was she thinking. After this battle she would probably never see this clan again.[/glow]

Northpaw looked over towards Blackthorn, she seemed upset about something. Well, they all where, there home was being attacked. "You look like you've allready lost, thats not a good mind set ya know. Still I have this funny feeling you're good at this tacticle nonsense, do you have any idea what we could do? I'm so sure if we have enough time to set traps anymore."

Anglefur looked at her friend. "Don't worry Blackthorn"she meowed. She then leaned over and licked her friends ear.

[glow=purple,2,300]Blackthorn nodded "Just so you know, The rouges,Nightclan,and Bloodclaw are coming. Most every one can swim, I know I can. Any who,Night knows a lot of traps, so I wouldn't try a trap.

Just so you know. We have two other rouges on our team" Blackthorn said the quickly whispered 'I hope" before starting again,"Savannahheart and Phantom. Most likely Savannahheart will be the sneaky type and pretend she is on the rouge side until...well...Phantom, He might be sneaky or strait forwerds.So I would think, the best thing to do would to have half our patrol take head on and the second half of our patrol sneak and grab unsuspecting cats to kill." Blackthorn finally was done with her spetch.It seemed like she was the betrayer now. Telling all of Riverclan to plot against their sisters and brothers "Oh one more thing, once dark and Night are dead. Stop killing!"[/glow]

Angelfur admired Blackthorn for telling them what was going to happen. But do the clan belive her? she quetioned.

[Northland]

"We must be the luckiest Clan in the forest, to have someone on our side who knows that." said Northpaw, slightly stunned. "Even if I still don't think a head on attack against those numbers would work, unless we could lure them to a place we could defend easily." But she didn't know if there was a place like that in RiverClan, othe than the camp.

[glow=purple,2,300]Blackthorn nodded "That is what Night wants us to do,juts like Thunderclan and Shadowclan have done.Northpaw,I have been planing this day sence I was just a kit.that is the only reson I stay with the rouges.I have been waiting for this day to come,and now that it is here I want every thing to go right." Blackthorn still seemed sad , but now you could tell she had great plans for Riverclan's battle "We need more people to sneak then to upfront them.The people who sneak must not let the rouges knowt hey are near.the up frount people have to be rady to fight for there lifes to make sure none of the steanking cats get caught."[/glow]

Angelfur felt the fur on her neck rise up. This is going to be a battle of life or death she looked over at Blackthorn. And some of us might not come back she thought sadly. This thought brought tears to her blue eyes.

[Northland]

"If the cats sneaking up the back got scented we could have some problems, so we should probably role in wild mint to hide our scents." said Northpaw eagerly. Now that a plan was forming she felt more confident, and she couldn't help remembering her brothers words, 'An enemy turned ally is the strongest of all.' They where going to win this, it would be difficult but if Blackthorn's plan worked they where going to win this!

[glow=purple,2,300]Blackthorn smiled "good Idea, this will be an improtant day for all of us" she meowed.Blackthorn looked over at her firend,she noticed that tears were forming in her eyes.Blackthorn could almost feel the pain that Angelfur felt,so what would happen when they killed night...What would ANgelfur do then.

Blackthorn walked over to Angelfur "You ok?" she asked[/glow]

"Remember" Thunder warned as he walked over to the young tabby warrior. "Our job is to drive them out,not to kill. If we slaughtered them like bloodthirsty savages we would be no better than they are. I am not saying to hold your attack, no, give it all you got, rip their throats out for all i care, just remember that we are RiverClan Cats." There was a look of both defiance and pride in Thunder's amber orbs as he said these words. He tensed his muscles and flexed his claws, as if ready to pounce on an invisible prey

[Northland]

"I suppose we had better get going soon, if we want to stand any chance at all." said Northpaw in an icy voice. The time had come, they where going to drive out these invaders to there territory. Northpaw had allready lost one home, she would not lose another, no matter what!

[Angelƒur]

"Um yea"Anglefur choked out. "Your not going to come back,are you?"she asked her friend.

She Glared at Thunder "Killing is not a sin,it is only a defence.If we don't kill the fate of the clan will be the small group of cats protecting Riverclan" Blackthorn hissed "The Rouges will kill,Nightclan will kill, nad Bloodclan will kill.You may chose not to kill,but I will kill all who gets in my way"[/glow]

Anglefur let the tears that were threatening fall. "I'll fight right beside you till the end"she whispered.

[Northland]

OOC: Good thing time passes difrently in diffrent threads.

Northpaw was getting impatient. She knew they must be leaving soon, or Nightclan and the rouges would find them soon. If they got at the nursery.... It was something Northpaw didn't want to think about. She knew it was verry unlikly any of them would come back with such a small group against such a large enemy, but she would rather be dead than a prisoner.
