Twilightpelt sat on the edge of the river, his grey eyes gaze into the swifting moving water. It had been so long since there had been peace. Sometimes life just seemed to much to bear when there was no one to talk to. With a sigh, he lay down his paw lazily slipping into the water.

"No. We're not" Angelfur replied looking st him. She could see him looking at her like.. Like he liked her. Then a terrible thought hit her, she had lost two mates all ready, and her adopted son Stone. This thought brought tears to her eyes, and a tear fell down her face.

Twilight sighed, it was so beautiful this time of year, he looked out across the river. His heart beat faster as he thought of Angelfur, she had loved so much, but it seemed as if all of it had been taken away from her.

Anglefur looked at the leaves on the Thundercaln side of teh river. "Its so beautiful" she whispered to Twilightpelt. She brushed her pelt closer to his, making her warmer. Under her fur on her cheeks she was blushing.

Angelfur turned her blue eyes to Twilightpelt. "Really?" she asked him with a ourr. But she could tell he meant it. She thought back ot the last person who had told her anything like that, Bloodclaw. But he was near death in the Medicine cats den, and she knew Blackthorn would be happier with him, even htough Anglefur herself loved Bloodclaw very much. But she knew she had feeling for Twilightpelt now.
