SILVERPAW & FEATHERPAW CATCHING FISH

featherpaw leaped out of the reeds untill she came to the waters edge." isnt so pretty" she lifted her paw to point to the river.

[Silverpaw]

Silverpaw leaped out right behind her. She stopped and sighed, "You know I have lived near this river all my life and still I love to just stare at it," whispered Silverpaw.

"i know its so ....... mesmirizing" featherpaw turned around to look silverpaw in the eyes and said "ok lets hunt!"

[Silverpaw]

"Alright," said Silverpaw, she walked up to the waters edge and crouched down, like her mentor had showed her. Holding her paw above the water she waited until a fish swam by before striking out, with a splash the fish jumped out of the water and landed on the shore. With a quick bite Silverpaw killed and looked at Featherpaw wiht a smile.

"wow your good, ok no its my turn" featherpaw stratched her paw out over the river and a moment later there was a big SPLASH and all you could see was featherpaw comng up for air."ooops" she said with a laugh on her face. featherpaw came up out of the water soaking wet.

Foxpaw was wandering about when she stumbled upon the other two apprentaces.
"Hey Featherpaw, Silverpaw." She said shyly, her eyes darting about before sitting down and watching. "Mind if I join in?" She glanced at Featherpaw. "Unfortunatly I'm not very good at swimming, though." She was clearly joking.

"thats ok"featherpaw meowed back with laughter in her voice" im not very good either, but anyway, sure you can join us" she gave an okaying look at silverpaw."its your turn to fish now" she ponted her tail at foxpaw

Foxpaw nodded. She padded silently twoards the river untill she could see her reflection. She blinked, and waited, looking for a fish. Suddenly, her paws struck. Out she pulled a fish, barely cathing it with her two front paws. It was about to slip out of her grip! And slip it did, plummeting back twoards the water, She made a grab twoards it and caught it again, this time laying it upon the ground beside her. "Phew!" She exclaimed. "That was a close one!"

"it sure was" featherpaw meowed lightedly. " so how has your training been coming along fowpaw"

Foxpaw thought for awhile. "It's interesting, really." She stated. "I'm not very good at Fighting, but I just started not to long ago, so I guess it's not too bad, right?" She looked to the sky as she was thinking. "But besides that, it's acctually kind of fun!"

"ya it is, i am hoping to become a medicne cat apprentice!" featherpaw emarked with a glee"i am not sure if i have been accepted by starclan though so i will have to wait and see"

"other than that my skills have been getting alot better" she said in a more hopeful voice

Hawkfur was out hunting when she spotted the cats. "Hello" she mewed.

"Hello Hawkfur," greeted Silverpaw. "I'm glad to hear your apprenticship is coming along good, Foxpaw. Mine is going pretty well, I just me and mentor trained more often. . ." said Silverpaw as she let her words trail off.

"Im sure your mentor will train you more soon, we do need warriors." Hawkfur replied

ooc: i dont have a mentor yet, its kind of sad -tear again- do you have an apprentice??

featherpaw looked up with a hopefull glance" well we will see, its hard when you want to be the best that you can be and your mentor is always there" featherpaw looked down at her paws once more, knowing she shouldnt have said anything.

"What do you mean by that Featherpaw?" asked Silverpaw, surprise in her tone.

"I think that is every apprentics dream, at least I know it is mine, I want to be the best warrior. Featherpaw are you ever afraid that you will brake the warrior code? I mean like on purpose?"

Cloudpaw saw the she-cats "Hello Featherpaw and Silverpaw!" Cloudpaw said with a smile "How are you two?" He asked them. Then he saw the fish! "Good catch! I would guess it would be silverpaws becuase she has a mentor!" Thornpaw siad wiht a smile.

[Silverpaw]

"Hi Cloudpaw!" greeted Silverpaw. "And yes it is my fish, but I would say that Featherpaw is just as good as me," she said with a smile at her friend.

"hi cloudpaw" featherpaw echoed her friend. Feathepaw returned the smile and looked back at cloudpaw.

"Do you guys mind if I hang with you?" Cloudpaw asked The two she-cats "And you know....Kinda be freinds?" Cloudpaw said shyly.

[Silverpaw]

"Sure, I would love to be your friend Cloudypaw!" said Silverpaw with an excited smile.

[featherpaw]

featherpaw looked back at cloudypaw "i would also love to be your friend, do you want to try and catch a fish" she said encouragingly.

[Silverpaw]

Silverpaw nodded, "It's easy!" she said as she leaned over and after a moment of concentration dipped her paw into the water and pulled out a large fish. Flipping it on to the bank she killed it with a quick bite.
