Willowtail saw Hollowheart appear. Amberwind was not with him. Willowtail thanked StarClan for that.
"You still love him, don't you?" Willowtail felt Silentclaw's voice like shards of glass in her heart. Her game of brain-teasing Hollowheart had become a game of love.
"Silentclaw. . .I. . ." Willowtail did not know what to say.

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw's gaze softened. He sat ext to her.He said silently. "I understand if you still love him." He looked at her.

Willowtail loved Silentclaw. And she cared for Hollowheart. She had no idea what to do. Why were they both being so kind to her? She would feel better if they shunned her. A new though arose. She was the Medecine Cat for StarClan's sake! She wasn't aloud to fall in love!
"I. . .uh. . ."

[Hollow]

Hollow stood up."I think you need some time to think on this alone.'' He walked out of the clearing.

Willowtail watched Hollowheart go. She turned to Silentclaw. He looked understanding, but Willowtail could see beyond the fur on the outside. He was hurt. She had helped him in so many ways and now she was doing this to him. How could I put him through this?
"Silentclaw. . .I. . ."

Silentclaw stared at her for a few moments. "Do you still love him?" He asked abruptly. It was true he was hurt but also curious. Did she have feelings for Hollow?

[Willowtail]

Willowtail did not know what to say. She had used the game to hide her true feelings, she still loved Hollowheart but she also loved Silentclaw. The ShadowClan Medicine Cat loved a WindClan Warrior and a hurt ex-SunClan-now-ShadowClan Warrior.
"I'm so sorry, Silentclaw. I don't know what to say. . ."

[Silentclaw]

Silentclaw nodded."You probaly should be alone."He seemed to looked far away for a moment. "I'm going to spy on some rouges."He looked at her for a moment. "Think on what's been said here so you might understand." He stood and left as well, leaving Willowtail alone.

[Willowtail]

Willowtail wanted to throw herself in front of a Monster on the Thunderpath for the pain she had caused Silentclaw to feel. I love Silentclaw and I care for Hollowheart. I don't want to hurt either of them. But Hollowheart does not love me like Silentclaw does. Silentclaw loves me. I love Silentclaw. I love Hollowheart. Hollowheart loves Amberwind. I should stay out of Hollowheart and Amberwind's lives and remain with Silentclaw, my one true love. I need to tell him this.

Willowtail padded towards the Thunderpath and looked both ways. There was a rumbling in the distance but Willowtail did not take heed of that. She raced across-
And was hit. Willowtail tumbled away into the bushes. It was a glancing blow but she had cuts from the tough Thunderpath. Willowtail continued to pad towards the Rouge Camp but more carefully.
