It was only a few days after his near drowning at Riverclan territory and he was as happy as ever. He jumped on a near by rock. "Queen Mab, I bid you greeting on this day." He said to a leaf, laughing to himself. He remembered a story about two star-crossed lovers and he enjoyed using parts of the story in his life. He seemed to grin and continued walking along the border.[/glow]

He still seemed as happy as ever, not apparently taking in the she-cats darkness."You seem to be more like Queen Mab to me" And with that Mercury began to quote shakespear about Queen Mab, though he'd never read the story, being a cat. "She is the fairies' midwife, and she comes

[glow=silver,2,300]Mercury looked slightly sad, mainly because he hadn't surprised her into telling him her name. She hadn't even laughed or called him insane. Mercury didn't stay put out for long though, because right now he was in a happy mood. "You know, I have no idea." Mercury said laughing like a mental patient. He began to talk again, like she was his sister or best friend. "Hey you want to see something cool? It might make you laugh if a fail." He looked exited and was again seeming to smile at her. Dawnheart was sitting 14 feet away watching *I wonder if he is trying to look crazy or it just comes naturaly* she wondered waching the both of them

[glow=silver,2,300]Mercury was suddenly tired of waiting for the she cat's answer. "I'm going for it." He said running at a tree and climbing it rather quickly. When he reach a nice high branch he shouted. "Lady's and gentlemen, I will be preforming a death defying leap. So if there are kits in the audience, please shield their eyes. Also if you have problems with blood, adrenaline, or any thing related to that, please leave." Mercury smiled. He always wanted to say that. And with that he ran across the branch and leaped into the air. He was jumping to the next tree, not particularly a safe thing to do, especially since the next tree was quite a few feet away. At the moment there were no branches to obstruct him from view, and he could be seen by those on the ground. Mercury loved this move because it felt like flying. "Wee," He said as he landed on the next branch.[/glow]

He explained why he was frowning as he got closer."Usually cats start yelling at me when I do that sort of thing, but your still as calm as ever. Maybe I went from some place higher..." His eyes seemed to twinkle as he thought of a truly death defying feat.[/glow]

[glow=silver,2,300]Mercury gave the she-cat a sad look. "I was hoping to cheer you up Blackthorn. Dark times are approaching far quicker than you know. I'd hate to think of you facing them with a heart laced with grief." Mercury's tone was solemn, and quiet. I was a far cry from the happy voice it had been a moment ago. His eyes seemed shadowed with darkness. "Remember Blackthorn, remember that as the shadows thicken, the candles burn ever more brightly." He began to leave, not bothering to explain his last words.[/glow]

With the rouges, where your name is Blackthorn, or in the clans where it was once Littlepaw." Mercury stepped foreword, his eyes locked with the she-cat's. "I know about you Blackthorn, more than anyone else has. Even Bloodclaw. What is it you would like to know? I may have the answer you seek." His eyes glowed and the wind blew slightly harder. The sun was covered by some clouds, making the world seem far darker than it was.[/glow]

[glow=silver,2,300]Mercury looked down. "Somethings can never be changed. Only postponed. Other things though," Mercury looked up, his eyes twinkling. "Can be changed, if there are enough people willing to change it." He seemed to smile grimly. "Is there something you have in mind?" He asked, hoping she'd tell him.[/glow]

[glow=silver,2,300]Mercury shrugged. "I've heard tales about how one of the daughters of Moonstar had a kit that was taken by rouges, and you look a lot like Moonstar. The rest..." Mercury gave another shrug. "I just knew. Don't worry, I will not tell your enemies your secrets."His eyes twinkled slightly. "As long as you let me try to help you." [/glow]

When we do, I'd like to have the answer to this next question I'm going to ask. Think carefully about it, Queen Mab, than tell me when we meet next." Mercury had gone back to calling Blackthorn, Queen Mab."The question is, do you want to be saved?" With that he left, leaving Blackthorn to think about the answer.[/glow]

Scarangle walked up to her friend,wondering wjat was going on. "Whats wrong Blackthorn?"she asked.

Dawnheart walked over towards the cats
then she stoped 5 feet away she did not know these cats she had no friends so her head droped and she sat down
