Meeting Mom, again, with family this time

Silvershadow sat down in the carrion place, tail rapping around his paws. He was faster at travel in the marshes and bogs of the Shadowclan territory, but the kits of him and Swiftfoot, his mate trailed behind not so far away, their mother pushing them along. They were appretances now, and they need to learn about their blood.

Dreampaw scampered in the deep mud as he struggled to stay in the lead. Soon he reached the spot beside his father, who sat intently waiting. He looked at his messy paws and started to lick them clean.

Melodypaw cought up with her brother and looked around infront of them. "Wow! It's so cool here!" Yowled as she looked around with wide blue eyes.

Moonstar coulden't help but laugh alittle at her granddaughters excitement. " Hello Silvershadow, this must be Dreamkit and melodykit." She purred as she looked into Melodypaw's blue eyes lovinly.

[Swiftfoot[Is Leaving]]

Swiftfoot reached where her mate and their kits sat,"Hello Moonstar."She said,smiling.

Hello Swiftfoot, its good to see you again." Mewed Moonstar as she smiled at swiftfoot.

"Y-your Moonstar!" Mewed Melodypaw as she looked into Moonstar's golden eyes. " Your my grandma, cool! Do you like to sing?, how is it being leader?, Does daddy have any siblings?.." Asked melodypaw as she jumped up and down.

^{Streampaw struggled behind her little paws where muddy and dirty with no clean river around Streampaw felt scared.She gain all her bravery to walk up to the huge cat and meowed a shy "HellO"}

Silvershadow nudged Streampaw forward. " They are appretances now." he said, a bit of proudness in his voice. He looked at the jumping bundle that was Melodypaw, " Behave" he commanded her, he knew that she was that way, but he wanted her to show a little respect.

Dreampaw dipped his head to the leader. Dad's mom is a leader? Why isn't he in Shadowclan? the questions buzzed in his head.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"Sorry Daddy." Mewed Melodypaw as she sat down. "Its quit alright Silvershadow, you were the same way." mewed Moonstar as she noticed Streampaw. "Hello." She said kindly. "So their apprentices, thats good news."

[Silvershadow lazy]

Silvershadow's checks burned and he was happy they couldn't see them. " Yes, it is." he agreed to get off the subject he quickly added, " That's why we can today, we, Swiftfoot and I, think it's time for them to learn. They know a little already."

[Swiftfoot[Is Leaving]]

Swiftfoot looked at the Shadowclan leader with a great deal of respect.She smiled at her kits and at Silvershadow,curiousity burning to learn a little more as well.

Windchaser came out of the shadows. "Ah ha!" she said, winking at her mother and brother. "I thought there ust be a reason Moonstat left so quietly."

" Oh really? Thought your own mother was breaking the warrior code did ya?" he joked with the deputy, or his sister, " Everyone this is Windchaser, my sister and the deputy of Shadowclan. Windchaser, meet the family. This is Dreampaw, Melodypaw, Streampaw, and Howlingpaw. That is Swiftfoot, the modt beautiful she-cat in all the clans!" He licked Swiftfoot in the ear.

"Oh yes, the seacret. Come over here young ones and i shall tell you of MoonClan." Mewed Moonstar. " Oh, hello Windchaser." She mewed again as she licked her daughter.deputy's ear.

"Hi Aunty Windchaser!" mewed melodypaw as she padded towards Moonstar, wanting to here the story." I want to know everything!" She purred happily.

Silvershadow forced his tail to stay still at melodypaw's exclination. He watched Dreampaw walk over and sit beside his more excited sister and look at the leader. Silvershadow noticed a flash of proudness, egarness and respect for his grandmother and all the knowlage she was ready to share with them.

Dreampaw flicked his tail and nodded respectfully at Windchaser when interduced and sat down, hiding his yearning to learn more esxcept for his eyes which seemed to glow with happiness at learning about himself and his family. He looked at the sky, still brigth as it was he could picture the stars, the ancestors and previous rulers of the forest.

A shadow came from the trees she had watched this little renion for far to long."Aw,"she growled looking at the cats so happy."It seems we have a little renoin(sp?)I hope you wont mind if I come?"Blackshadow sat a fair enough distance forom the throng of cats watching with an evil smirk on her face.

Silvershadow bent down and whispered, " Don't worry. Moonstar is nice, she won't laugh at you or anything." he tried to find the reson for her timidness, he had always been excited and brave like Melodypaw. He wondered if Swiftfoot was timid once. As he regained his sitting position, a scent wafted to his nose. He strighten quickly, eyes scannign around and whispered to Swiftfoot, " Some one else is here." he stood and walked closer to his kits, remaining standing.

Laughing at his nieces and nephews eagerness for a story Windchaser sat next to Melodypaw. "Hellow, Swiftfoot, I see you have captured my brother's heart. Moonstar." Windchaser looked up and then down.

Something sad stirred in her as she remembered Tattlepaw, Jadepaw, and Rapidpaw. Jadepaw had died, Tatlepaw hated her, and Rapidpaw was lost. "Hm.."

Blackshadow nodded,"Very good kitty,yes I am here it seems you are the first to notice I am here.Very well done."Her icy black gaze swept over the cats still talking as if nothing had happened.She sat still as a wind ruffled her fur carring her sent to the other cats.Smirking she sat washing a silver paw that seemed to shimmer like the moon.

the tom's silver ear twitched like he had heard her. He looked at the woods uneasily, his tail bearly moving. He sighed andd watched his mother and his kits.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

" Okay, MoonClan was a clan far from here. It was know for its underground spring and Lunarflowers. As you already know, MoonClan cats eyes turn red if they are under a great deal of stess or when angered. My father, your great grandfather, Yelloweyes, was the one I got my MoonClan blood. Wolfeyes, your grandfather, he was born full MoonClan. Your blood is sacred, sence many of MoonClan died in a fire. Only one cat though was born with the blood in his eyes, my twin brother, Evilmoon. His eyes were blood red all his life. One day, your Moonclan blood will awaken, and your lives will change drmaticlly." Mewed Moonstar as she told the kits everything she knew of MoonClan.

Melodypaw's crystal blue eyes were wide in amasment! " When will are MoonClan blood awake grandma Moonstar?!" She asked looking into her grandma's beautiful golden eyes.

"You will have to wait and see dear.' Mewed Moonstar as she licked Melodypaw's ear lovingly.

Silvershadow purred almost forgetting the threat in teh woods as he snickered at Melodypaw. she could certainly lift the moods well. He smiled at Swiftfoot confidently and saw Windchaser talking with her. He smiled to himself.

Dreampaw nodded and looked at the ground to hide his happiness. What a privalige! I can't wait... he thought happily and blinked to clear his eyes lookign up again with eyes only revealing a little happilness that could just pass for the dim light reflecting on his eyes a bit more than others.

Blackshadow's ears pricked up as the eldest of the group spoke about this Moonclan blood."Strange,"she murmered."Very strange."She looked at the group waiting for the one to speak again.She sat waiting in the woods covered by the bushes all but her eyes that girmmered a bright yellow.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"My blood first awoke when Dreamheart, the ThunderClan Medicine cat, Windchaser, and I were fighting a WindClan patrol that had my half sister, Clearstream. My blood awoke and i wounded one cat that he almost died. Your Moonclan is very dangerous if awoken early, remember that." Mewed Moonstar as that horrible memory came back to her.

Silvershadow nodded sulmonly. He had killed at a cat, or at least help Moonstar kill a cat. THe memory of the event made his whiskers drop a bit and he shuffled his paws once. He felt someone watching them...((Come out at any time Blacky!))

Dreampaw's eyes widened despite himself. Wow! Our blood must make us great fighters... he broke off, and a flash of pride flickered in his eyes.

[Swiftfoot[Is Leaving]]

When Silvershadow said that about her,she smiled.Licking his ear.She greeted windchaser and turned to Silvershadow,"You think someone else is here?"She asked,uncomfortably.She,like Silvershadow,moved closer to her kits.She glanced around nervously.

The shadow from behind the trees moved stepping into the cats veiw."Very good but it took you all long enough."Growled Blackshadow her tail twitching with evilness,eyes green looking at all the cats not missing a single movement.

[Swiftfoot[Is Leaving]]

Swiftfoot dug her claws into the ground and her eyes narrowed to slits."Moonstar,do you know this cat?"She asked,reffering to the cat that had just revealed herself."Kits,stay close to the adults and don't go near the new cat just to be safe."She whispered.

Crouching down low and ready to srping, Windchaser sat, paws on tip, ready to attack. "What are you doing in ShadowClan Terra?" asked the Deputy, eyes blaring. "You don't belong here."

"I'll take that as a no,you don't know her."She said,trying to keep her fur laying flat.

Silvershadow jumoped up, grabbing Melodypaw and Streampaw and setting them in a nearby bush, then grabbed the other two. He turned to face te cat, " Who are you?" he asked coolly, try to keep his tempure from raising triggering his moonclan blood to emurge again.
