I know that. Americanized means that America edited the heck out of it before it was aired here. Some of the names might be changed. Zatch, from Zatch Bell, originally was called Gnash. Or, because of cultural difference, they might have been talking about something completely different then what was said. And the words are changed, and it makes a huge difference. Like in Gundam SEED in episode six, the commander says in Japanese "A coordinator would be welcomed with open arms, especailly in Eurasia." while in English he says "A coordinator would be welcomed with open arms, even in Eurasia." Changing the situiation completely.
