Willowtail stared at the WindClan Medicine Cat Apprentice. She scrutinized every little detail and scented the air. A wave of pity came over her as she found that it was Darkfur's daughter. She gestured with her tail for Winterpaw to come closer. She whispered in her ear, "You're Darkfur's daughter, aren't you?"

"Yes I am," Winterpaw said proudly. She wasn't sad or mad at their father for being a rouge. Winterpaw was proud of her roots. She was willing to defend his name from all who thought she'd hate her father for being who he was."Is that a reason, you think, to pity me? My heritage? Well let's go back to that. Willowtail looked at the fiery Apprentice. "I wasn't going to jeer at your heritage," She mewed. "I was going to say that I know what it feels like to be stared at and thought to be a traitor," She gestured with her head towards her slightly swollen belly. "I was also going to say that although Darkfur and I disagree on many things, I think he is entitled to his own beliefs."
