Smoke raced though the rose bushes and around the fence.She was out in the snow!Her owners never let her out in the snow!She jumped onto the fence and stared put to the woods.Mabey I'll go out there today, she thought.Quietly she groomed herself thinking.

Smoke watched the cat depart.She seemed upset, I wonder why."Hi"she called out, a friendly look in her face as she prepared for a fight,She didn't want to be surprised if the cat wasn't as nice as she was.

Sandclaw jumped, she had totally forgotten that other kittypets besides the calico tom lived in the area.
She looked at the cat, trying to hide the strange fear she felt. "Hello, do you know the cat who lives here?" she asked, gesturing with her tail at the calico's home.

Sandclaw made herself act casual, hiding her shock that the Kittypet knew about her relationship with the calico.
"I'm just wondering." she lied, praying to Starclan that the cat would believe her "I was chasing a mouse and ended up here. I then saw the cat, and out of curiosity went to chat with him." Sandclaw thought about the glorious day she became an apprentice and relaxed. "I have no idea if he's getting fixed, but if so it would be good for his sake to stop the Twolegs from having it done."
She then groomed her paw to get rid of any lingering suspicion in the cat's mind.

"Oh I guess I just imagin your scent here everyday and see you and him together."Smoke said and glared at Sandclaw.Then her face brightened and she hurridly told Sandclaw to wait there.She dashed into the house and meowed pitifuly to her owner.
"What's the matter Smoke?"Her owner asked with consern.Smoke walked over to the front door as the calico's owner came out the door. "Why that-'' started her owner as she dashed out the door yelling, stoping the calico's owner dead in her tracks.Smoke smiled to herself and went to see Sandclaw.
"Watch and be amazed."she told the other cat, a smug exspression on her face.Soon the lady with the cat dropped her burden and he ran to the back."Make all the kits you want" she told Sandclaw as the calico joined them.

How did she do that? Sandclaw thought to herself. It had happened so fast she wasn't sure how the Kittypet had done it.
Oh well. At least Salem was with her. Salem was the name of the calico cat. She guessed it had something to do with the time once a year that Twolegs dress up in foolish costumes. Because of the colors on the calico's pelt.
She gave Salem a quick lick, dipped her head in thanks to the Kittypet and ran into the forest with the calico tom.
She didn't know exactly where to go. But any where except for Thunderclan camp was fine.

Smoke smiled,and giggling left to amuse her owner for a job well done. As her owner petted her she thought of many things to herself. Nightfall was coming so she couldn't go out.Tomorow I'll see whats out in that forest she thought to herself. Then she curled up purring in her owners lap and fell asleep.

Smoke stared at the forest. sandclaw and Salem had gone, yet she still remained. more alone than ever. Why do I sit here day after day, she wondered, Staring at the forest. She didn't know but nevertheless, she continued to stare out into the forest waiting for something....

Clearmoon turned in suprise at Mooneye and wispered"I don't think we should be seen together".
Then she heard thunder and looked up the wind started to blow hard and she heard strange loud noises from the Twolegged Town."What is it , Mist, that noise?" she yelled above the wind.

Smoke listened hard. They were pretty far from the twolegged people's town, and didn't often hear anything. "That could be threee things,' She shouted over the wind. "A server Lightning storm, which I hope it is, a tornadoe or a fire." The wind picked up again. "I must go now, hurry to your clans." She was about to leap from the fence when her twoleg came out, grabbed her and went back inside.
