Hope

[Winterwind]

Smoke paced nervous for no apparent reason. She wanted to see a clan cat, anyone. She sat down and licked her slightly swollen belly. She wasn't close to kitting but she was showing signs of pregnancy. She wondered how many there'd be what they'd look like and what they'd be called. She wished a friend would come by.

[Flamefur]

Flamefur walked slowly out of the forest, he had never been to the kittypet land and he wanted to see it. At the sight of Smoke he froze.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

Mooneye came up from behind her."How are you doing Smoke."Said Mooneye in a caring voice.

[Winterwind]

Smoke stopped her pacing at the scent of a new cat. She turned and saw him standing a few feet away. She stared at him. "Hello." She meowed quitely. She jumped at the sound of Mooneye's voice."Hello, I'm fine.You?"

[Flamefur]

"Hi," Said Flamefur, "I hope I'm not intruding?"

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"Just fine, I came by to see if you were okay."Said Mooneye.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"Not at all Flamefur."Said Mooneye.

[Flamefur]

Flamefur sat silently, something was wrong with this kittypet, he didn't know what but she seemed agitated.

[Winterwind]

Smoke nodded and turned to Flamefur. "Of course not, everyone is welcome in my territory." She felt tense all of a sudden.

[Flamefur]

Flamefur noticed her tense up, "Is something wrong?" he asked.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

Mooneye had seen this same look from Wolfeyes when she was pregent with her first litter.

[Winterwind]

"No," Smoke said. She wondered why she was so shy lately. "I'm.. I'm expecting kits soon." She began to pace again wondering a thousand thing a minute.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"I saw that the minute I saw you."Said Mooneye. "If you need any help don't be afraid to ask me."

[Flamefur]

"Congratulations," said Flamefur.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"Yes, congrats."Said Mooneye.

[Winterwind]

Smoke shook her head."Thanks," She turned to Mooneye. "I'm fine, just a little... anxious." She gave them a shacky smile."Been feeling a bit shy lately, that's all."

[Flamefur]

"Whose the father?" asked Flamefur.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"I was the same way before I had kits too."Said Mooneye.

[Winterwind]

Smoke thought for a second her heart stopped. She knew now that Darkfur wasn't a friend to any clan cats. So she simply replied."It's a secret." She began to give herself a bath.

[Flamefur]

"That's ok, some cats have their secrets," he said understandingly.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

Mooneye knew hwo the father was, but didn't say anything.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"How are your kits doing Flamefur?"Asked Mooneye.

[Winterwind]

(How would you know who the father is? You left before that, remember.)

Smoke gave Flamefur a smile. "So, how has it been?" She asked the two.

[Flamefur]

"They are doing fine, but it's hard without Lemontail," said Flamefur his head drooping a little.

[Winterwind]

Smoke looked concerned. "What happened to Lemontail?"

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

(I read it after words)
"I know. It is hard to be a single parent taking care of three kits on your own."Said Mooneye.

[Flamefur]

"She was.....Killed by a car, she left me and three kits behind." he said sadly.

[Winterwind]

(But remember, your charictor still left, so she doesn't know)

"I'm sorry," Smoke said automaticly. She gave Flamefur a sympathetic look.

[*:Moonstar~Melodypaw:*]

"It was very sad. I heard it from Dreamheart."Said Mooneye.
(I was still there, you just didn't see me.)

(That would be weird. For once, can't this be a secret relationship?)
