Storm walked to her dad,"Are you a kittypet too?"she asked

Darkfur shock his head."I am a cat that is not apart of the clan, im a ro.... loner, or a cat without a clan and not a house cat either."said Darkfur. He gave a pleading look at Mooneye not to tell them that he was a rogue.

Moonstar caught the look and bowed her head in agreement.

Rowan jumped up. He was sick of this horrible talk of death and wanted to play. He jumped on his sisters and purred with amusemant.

Storm threw him off,and pinned him down,she heard their owners calling them,and began to pad happily inside

Brownie padded up. She was an alert youngster and had caught her Father's hesitation. She had also been the Kit that had never known her Mother, except for a huddle of gray fur.
"Father, why did you hesitate? You were about to say something beginning with R and then you went on to a completely different word."

Rowanpelt had wandered over to this place, hoping to see his old friend. He had been listening in for a little while when he decided to intrude. Hello," He said to the kits. "What Darkfur here wanted to say is that he wants to be part of Riverclan," He shook his head. "He wanted to join them ever since he was a kit."

"Then why didn't he?" asked Rowan looking ay Rowanpelt. "I want to join a clan when i get older. What clan is dad in?" he asked.

Flamefur walked toward the house he saw the other cats and paused. "Hello, I came to pay my respects to Smoke."

Storm turned around,"Hello"she said

"Hi, are you one of her kits?" Flamefur asked.

Rowan nodded. He then looked at his uncle and asked the queestion again. "What clan is he in?" he asked thoughtfully.

Flamefur walked slowly toward the grave, he bent his head, "Goodbye Smoke," he whispered. He then licked the grave stone and walked away. He turned, "Goodbye I hope to see you again," he told the kits. Then he walked away.

[Rowan]

Rowanpelt shrugged. "He's a loner now. He found out that Riverclan isn't as great as it seems.' He grinned at the kits in a joking manner.

Rowan looked pleased. "I want to be just like him when I grow up. I want to be a loner and we can travel together. I would like that." Rowan jumped on Rowanpelt.

Winterpaw moved silently to her mother's grave."Mother," She whispered softly."I'm sorry. I should have stayed, been cntent with what I had. But I had to go, I knew I had to become a medicne cat. I am sorry though, I recked our family. Storm, Rowan and Browni all left and have taken different names. Torrentpaw has declared the Riverclan is now her family, and Brownpaw's mad with Dad while Rowan is stiring the pot and telling everyone about dad. Not to mention the fact we probaly broke the Bradford's hearts in two."She sighed. It felt good to talk about her problems."How did you ever manage it?"

Forest walked up to the cat. He gave her a smile. "Is... is this your mother?" he asked. he was the new Bradford's cat. They had just brought him from the pet store. he was new around the place and didn't know about the Clans and rogues. He had smelled quite a few cats but never this many in one place.

Winterpaw nodded."It is. Are you the Bradford's new cat? How are they?" She stood up and walked over to him. Winterpaw was bursting with questions and she gave Forest an excited look.

"They are okay." he said. "They still sulk. They mention your mother alot." he was trying to help this cat. "I'm Forest." he said. he wasn't sure really what to say. This cat was hurt and he was confused.
