Lilyfeather looked upon her surroundings. It seemed to be home to a fire, long ago, because the ground was very fertile. The grass swayed in the breeze, and the lunarflowers danced on the wind. But there weren't any cats around. Lilyfeather looked up at Mooneye. "It's........beautiful." she sighed. "But there's no one here?"

"It is beautiful. Everyone was killed in a fire many moon ago, Wolfeyes, Arrow, Newmoon, and another cat were the only survivers. This is all that is left."Said Mooneye in a sad tone.

Lilyfeather looked up at her. A feeling of regret filled her heart. "I'm sorry" she said. She started to wander around the camp. There was a whole in the ground that led to a tunnel. Lilyfeather began to peek through. "Where does this go?" she asked.

Lilyfeather looked curiously at the hole. "An underground lake?" she thought. She started to follow Mooneye down the wet tunnel.

Mooneye then told her about the underground lake. "The lake is always freash and clean, the MoonClan cats drink from this during the winter."She told Lilyfeather.

Lilyfeather nodded, not realizing that she couldn't see her in the dark tunnel. They walked along the damp, dark trail. Soon they were in a large cavern. The water trickled down the walls into a large pool of clear water that seemed to glow.

Lilyfeather leaned over the water. "Well, I can't tell you exactly if I like it or not, I've just found out about it, but I do like what I see!" she said. Suddenly she slipped into the lake. The water was cold, but no colder than that of the river. She popped her head up. "Opps."

Lilyfeather pulled herself out and shook the water off her fur. Tiny dropplets scattered everywhere. "Aren't we already in a cave?" She asked nervously, while licking herslef dry.
