The Night came forward onto A tree stumps. "Moonlight, bring Thornpaw to me."

The cat moved of to see Thornpaw.

Savannahheart nstrided totorwards the huge warrior. Seeing Moonlight elave gave her an itchy feeling of what the white warrior was up to, what had Nightsprit had sent her for. The spotted warrior's fur on the back of her head pricked up as she came over to Nightsprit. "Would you like something, Nightsprit?"

Thornpaw was siting on a rock thinking of Darkfur,she had never meet him and yet she still like to think of what he looked like.Thornpaw looked down at Moonlight she flicked her ear as a snowflake fell on it and sank into her pelt.She jumped down beside her and instantly knew the Night needed her.Thornpaw Followed the beautiful white warrior to Nightspirit and thats where she sat waiting to know why she was summoned.Seeing Savannahheart,her childhood idle,made her wonder grow.

"Welcome Thornpaw,come forth." said The Night looking down at the young cat. "The Rouges are greatful to Thornpaw, for portecting the allaince without a single act of tresson. May she be known as Blackthorn, the Guardian, and shall contenue to act with dedication. Do you exsept these promise?"

Thornpaw felt stunded then shock her head to get a hold of her head "yes of cores master "

"Then, by the power that I hold, you will be known as Blackthorn, the Guardian." replied The Night as she put her paw on to a red berry, undoutfully the berry was a Death Berry. "Come forward, Blackthorn. Resive your mark, a true rogue knows when to trust and to never fear death."

Blackthorn walked closer, with out fear, to her leader.

The Night smiled under her cat skull that layed ontop her head. She gently touched the forehead of the brave cat, right on the white fur. The fur turned a slight red."As long as this mark lasts, she will be known as Blackthorn the Guardian." She walked beside the new made warrior."You shall be my eyes, watch Phantom, and Savannahheart for me, at the slightest sign of tresson, or herisy, kill them. We must uphold the beliefs of Darkfur." She wispered into Blackthorn's ear.

Blackthorn smiled and nodded her head "i will tell you every thing and anything" she meowed "and kill if i have to"Blackthorn felt proud of herself .She felt as if she was greater then Starclan.

Phantom watched the ceromony with cold eyes. He was glad Blackthorn was a warrior now, but the Night always made him suspicious. He waited for the cermony to end, half hiden in the shadows. Only two blue orbs indicated a cat was there.

Blackthorn smiled cruly as she walked over to Phantom "hello" she meowed

"Hello Blackthorn," Phantom said in a cool voice. His eyes narrowed. There was something about Blackthorn that made Phantom distrust her. He could sense something about her had changed, and not for the better."Comgrtulatins," He said, hiding his feelings of distrust behind a mask of joy for his apprentice."I see they've made you a warrior at long last. The name is a wonderful touch as well." He gave his old apprentice a happy, amused look.

Blackthorn nodded with out emotion "Thank you" she said cooly as she sat down she also hide her fealings under her couldness."The prizioner that excaped she looked and smell a lot like you"Thornpaw said coldly

Phantom looked at Thornpaw and gave her another amused look."Your point? For all you know I could have had a mate while in Shadowclan, and the kit might have been a product of it. Or the smell could have been your imagination. There are other cats who look like me you know." He didn't lose his look of amusment or trust as he spoke to the she-cat.

"So you have a mate in shadowclan,how many kits are there" asked Blackthorn

Phantom just looked at her."Even if I had a mate, you don't believe that I'm stupid enough to tell you how many there are and their names do you? who they are will be my secret until I choice to reveal it." He camed himself." So I hear you have a friend your rather found of. Is it true?" His amused look returned.

Blackthorn nodded "his name is Bloodclaw and he is the best and only friend i ever had"

Phantom gave a mocked hurt look."Blackthorn, I always thought I was your friend." He sighed."Ah well. So,' He said dropping his act."You planning to have kits with this 'Bloodclaw' or something?"

Blacktorn looked hurt also "Why sould i tell you" she hissed "you have your secrets and i have mine" and with that Blackthorn walked off

Phantom rolled his eyes."They get so moody when they grow up,' He muttered and stalked off into the forest to plot. He felt like picking a fight, though he didn't know who to bother.

"Nightsprit, could I talk to you in your den?" Savannahheart rasped.

The Night walked next to Savannahheart. "Yes, Portector, what is the problem?" she asked with a sound of wonder.

"WEll, I was just going to," Savannahheart hesitated, "Um, I am going to tell you that you should follow," she dropped down to a whisper that no one that only Nightsprit could hear, "you ahould follow Blackthorn around, without her knowing."

The Night patted Savannahheart's head. "I know, even my most trusted of cats, are more likely going to be my worst enemy. I will heed your words."
