Snowpelt sighed with relief. " Thanks, Angelfur."

Lightkit batted at Darkkit. " Now can we be friends?" She mewed.

" We'll have to talk about that, Lightkit."Snowpelt whispered in her ear, ruffling her ear fur.

" Why?" Lightkit whipered back.

" Becasue you are in different clans, you'll have to fight Darkkit one day. You can't get in too deep with your friendship."

"I'm not mad. But I don't run off with other cats from different clans. I prefer to stay in my clan. But it is ok if you are freinds,just don't break the warrior code. And I 'm not that mighty."she meowed to them.

" Just because you don't doesn't mean we can't." Lightkit retorted.

" Lightkit!" Snowpelt hissed. " Stop it right now!"

Darkkit sighed with relief, she didnt feel like getting into trouble right now. "C'mon Lightkit, it's okay. We can still be friends! We just wont fight eachother." She whispered in Lightkit's ear. *Except it could be trouble if we hurt eachothers friends.* She thought with worry for a moment. Then she promptly forgot about it, just like she had trained her mind to do when she didnt want to think about bad things.

" C'mon, then!" The orange tabby kit bounded off further into the trees, a bit closer to Thunderpath. She could taste its rank breath and scrunched her nose in disgust.

Snowpelt chuckled, sighing. " That kit really needs to learn." He mumbled, half to himself.

Anglefur tried her hardest not to blow up at the kit. "You can,but like my clan just fine"she meowed throug h gritted teeth.

" Just ignore her, Angelfur." The white warrior meowed softly. " She's just... weird."

*How could he say that about his own sister* thought Darkkit momentarily before racing after Lightkit into the trees. "Wait up!" she called to her newfound friend, panting tirelessly. When Lightkit looked the other way, Darkkit ran to hide behind a tree and clawed her way up it, hiding between the branches, waiting for the right moment to jump on Lightkit. *I love playfighting so much! I wonder if that will help make me a great Warrior?* the black thought in anticipation.

Fogpaw was watching the conversation form a tree. "hmm...not yet. maybe later..." he mumbled to himself. the conversation had woken him up, but he went back to sleep, his black fur glistening in the tree-filtered sunlight.

Lightkit spun around, calling, " Darkkit? Where'd you go?" I don't wanna fight with her...is what Snowpelt said true? She shook her head, gazing up at the sky. Oh, StarCLan, please don't let it be true.

Angelfur looked over at Snowpelt. "I'll try but..."she sighed. She then fololowed the cast closer to the thunderpath. "We shouldn't be here"she aid to htem.

Snowpelt followed Angelfur, looking around. " Why not? I thought this was neutral terra."

"It is but Shadowclan have always attacked cats here. Pus we have kits with us and we are by the Thunderpath"Anglefur meowed to Snowpelt.

" Like ShadowClan would dare attack us!" Snowpelt scoffed. He could take them- he was a RiverClan warrior!

Lightkit was still looking for Darkkit, meowing, " Darkkit! Come out!"

Blackthorn followed the cats.A smirk on her face then suddenly Blackthorn jumped on Angelfurs back for a serprise attack .

Angelfur yowled in surprise. She turned around and saw Blackthorn. "What do you want now?"she hissed,scratching Blackthorns pelt.

Snowpelt immediately took charge...sorta. " Lightkit, get outa here! Take the others with you!" The ginger kit nodded and ran up a tree quick as a rabbit while the warrior turned on Blackthorn and growled. " Leave Angelfur alone!"

Snowpelt was getting mad now. He charged at Blackthorn, ready to fight and lose even. Dieing....now that was another story. He had no fear, and didn't care if he died or not. he just wanted Lightkit gone.

Lightkit watched with fearful eyes on the battle. She was scared for her friend- he was one of her only friends, and he was going to die. StarClan told her so.

Snowpelt stumbled, but turned quickly to face thr rogue. " And why not?" He hissed, getting ready to attack again.

Lightkit nodded back at her. Her eyes said that she understood, but she didn't have to hurt Snowpelt.

She watched them carefully as she planeed what to say."Fighting doesent solve things,you have to use verble explenations she meowed bravely.She gave them a scornfull gaze with her sad blueeyes.Her brother had been chased on the thunderpath and him and his enemy had been killed she dident want that to happen to them!Even tho she was a kit she still now from epereance that fighting dident always solve things........

Darkkit had chosen to stay silent for a while, unusually enough for her. Unknowingly, Lightkit had run up the tree she was hiding in and had been to intent on the fight going on below to notice Darkkit in a brach just above her. Suddenly, she let herself drop onto the branch with Lightkit, hoping to surprise her, still full of games and fun. "Hi again Lightkit" she mewed quietly so know one below would hear her. "Want to ake a plan?" she asked playfully, hoping Lightkit would have some ideas. She didn't like this Blackthorn, always ruining their fun. She always wanted to fight. Burningwing was right, they should learn to use their words, not claws. She had even learnt that as a newborn kit. Then, suddenly, an idea sprang to her mind. But, first, she would wait for Lightkit's ideas.
