Goldenpaw's fur came up as the cats talked about Bloodclan, but he forced it back down angerily. He would not act like a little kit still in the nursery. "I'm having a little fun..." he whispered. He looked up at the leaders, hoping to borrow their courage.

He counciled, his voice heavy. Seeing the pretty she-cat cry, Stormstar felt a million pangs of guilt as he realised he could have prevented it. If his Warriors had gone to aid ThunderClan, BloodClan would be forced out and Brownstar would not be as she was. Silently, the RiverClan Leader hoped that Rubytail was ready to become Rubystar, but he said nothing to the Deputy, his eyes betraying no thoughts.[/glow]

Not being able to read Stormstar's thoughts troubled her. There is something going on, she told herself. And Stormstar knows it. Rubytail nodded her thanks and began to back away. The Deputy, drying her eyes, spotted out Brownstar and began to think. Then she remembered something she had to ask Stormstar. "Stormstar, how is Whitetail? If he is well... I need you to give him a message."

Silverstar looked with a small since of sadness. If only we had known... WindClan would have sent reinforcements to help ThunderClan, we owe them. Silverstar looked away.

Wingclaw padded towards the great rock, taking in the conversations of other cats around the gathering. She sat down, curling her tail in front of her paws, and watched the warriors talk. She stood a head above most of the other cats, which gave her an advantage at seeing the cats at the other side of the clearing. She tilted her ear to the leader's conversation, only catching the parts involving a ThunderClan warrior in RiverClan. She turned her gaze towards the leaders as the conversation became interesting.

There was no denying the courage of ThunderClan, nor its strength, and its new blood and fresh minds were good for the Clan, but there were no Senior Wariors old enough for the true meaning of the title.[/glow]
