The fur on Coyotepaw's neck settled, but he still didn't like what he was hearing. He could understand why ShadowClan would have accepted a ThunderClan cat as their leader when they were in that condition...still, it didn't feel right. But Tigerfrost was right, even if Coyotepaw didn't agree with what ShadowClan had done, he probably would have been afraid of a cat that would lead dogs to destroy ThunderClan.
"Tigerfrost, why would I treat you differently just because you're related to a muderous cat who took over a clan he wasn't born in for revenge?" The apprentice blinked. "Oh, wait, nevermind. But still, I don't care who you're related to, as long as you're not a murderous cat that would take over another clan for revenge. You're not, are you?" A whisker twitched in amusement. "But, either way, it's all in the past, right?"

Windchaser rolled her eyes, annoyed at the two cats of barging into Coyetepaw's lesson. "The legends are wonderful, but theres a time and place," she hissed. Stepping back, she looked at Tigerfrost. "As it seems you like to tell stories, you can tell them to the apprentices tonight, after some dinner. But now I want a patrol." She looked around, thinking of a best place. "Tigerfrost, think we should go to Thunderpath?" she asked, calming down and lciking her paws, trying to clean her side.
"As for you, Fireice, your future is still being decided.. you can come... but not your mate. Got it?" The deputy was not soft towards people who broke the warrior code. Especially since her mother's death and her kits departure. She had nothing left... just emptiness."
[Sorry for the grouchiness... hehehe. Windchaser's like that... and next time, let me get a few posts in!  ]

Windchaser glared art Tigerfrost for him ignoring her question. "Well, since you don't seem to care, Tigerfrost, you don't have to come on this patrol." She glared at the warrior, not likng the fact that he was ignoring her right to pick who went on patrols.

[glow=red,1,000]Fireice felt anger surge inside her at Windchaser's words and she could feel her skin grow hot. But, she bit a back a nasty retort and nodded. "Yes, Windchaser. I got it." Her head was hung low and her spine was poking out through her thin skin. "I'm sorry for disturbing Coyotepaw's session." She jumped down from the boulder she was sitting on and walked towards Coyotepaw and Windchaser.[/color][/glow]

Coyotepaw looked from Windchaser to Fireice to Tigerfrost and back again, unsure of what he should be doing. Was Windchaser going on a patrol with the other two? "Um, were we going to keep going, or should I...go somewhere?" He could try to hunt on his own, but it wasn't the same as having someone there to show you how.

Coyotepaw's tail curled about his paws, almost in a sorry mannor. "Actually, she's not. I'm mentorless." He blinked at Windchaser, twitching an ear before looking back at Fireice. "But I don't think she'll mind if I go with you." It was a gample, being that he had just met ShadowClan's deputy, but he couldn't be that out of line thinking he'd follow them out on a patrol, could he?
