Bearpaw's orbs flickered open. Snow covered his body and head. The tom let out a sneeze and shok the snow from his pelt after standing up. His brown fur now stood out faintly in the little light. The sound of a monster was far away a Bearpaw yawned and looked across the thunderpath. The pines on Shadowlan territory swayed back and forth in the darkening night. The apprentice looked longingly at the other clan's land.
He let out a sigh. Him and Fragmentpaw couldn't even be good friends without their clans getting angry. His pelt pricked at the scent of another animal...not a good one. th ebrown hued tom pricked his ears and gave an alarmed look. Fox! Bearpaw gave a hiss and then another scent came faintly to his nose. As if it was planned the smell of Shadowclan engulfed him. Fragmentpaw was near him.

The hissing wind slitherd threw the darkening sky, blowing snow from atop the mountain onto the land bellow. Each snowflake was small yet felt a thousand times colder then a regular snow flake. The snow streaked across the sky like rain, yet touched the earth as snow. It was very pretty when finialy the darkness spred over the sky, they looked like shooting sars. Washing over the star filled sky. The moon showen beautifuly, making candle-like beams wash the world bellow it. Itt was so calm and peaceful, no monster dared ruin the silents. THe only thing that made this beautiful night not perfect was the stench of monsters.
A soft-looking tan cat slitherd threw the pine trees. She couldn't sleep and her denmates had told her to take a walk, she knew they wern't worried about her. They only wanted her out so they could sleep. The she-cat was sued to it though, it was like secondnature to her when it came to favorites. She would always be last, it really didn't bother her. It was just annoying. By now the she-cat was very close to Thunderpath, the smell made her nose wrinkle and her eyes water. yuck, why in Starclan's name did I go here?!. Yet another sent was calling her, it was a Thunderclanner. A Thunderclanner named Bearpaw.
Fragmentpaw's smell paws pawed the grown, she wanted to rush over to Bearpaw and meet him. Yet what happens if another Thunderclanner was with him, he would get both of them into trouble. Taking a deep breath in; Fragmentpaw pushed fowerd. As The sent of monsters grew heavier so did the sent of Bearpaw. Fragmentpaw's pelt tingled with delight. Bearpaw was her only friend; she wanted to talk to him. Soon Fragmentpaw found herself looking at his dark pelt, he was coverd with snow. Fragmentpaw purred happly, before rushing towerds the tunnel that lead under the Thunderpath.
"Stay ou to long and you are going to get a cold!"
Fragmentpaw padded over to Bearpaw, her jungle green eyes shinning with delight. "You Thunderclanners sure can be dumb" She joked as she swished her tail back and forht playfully. Fragment suddenly noticed something, Bearpaw was getting bigger then her! Fragmentpaw looked down at her paws, they were tiny compared to Bearpaw's. Fragmentpaw sighed sadly, se wouldn't have an advantage on Bearpaw anymore, since she-cats did usually have there growthspert before toms. Fragmentpaw lifted her green eyes to stare into Bearpaw's.

The cold breeze blew around Bearpaw like a whip from the stars. Snow engulfed his body for a second. The young tom closed his eyes. Snow swirled around and Bearpaw folded his ears back. He ignored the scent of fox and then gave a small jump at a voice. His orbs folded open and a sandy colored she-cat stood before him. A purr erupted from his throat and his tail swished into the air. The sweet scent of Fragmentpaw enveloped him and the other scents around were gone.
The chocolate hued tom stepped forward one paw after another. His legs felt like they were made of lead but still he pushed on. Bearpaw knew that he should be slashing Fragmentpaw apart at that moment...lunging forward to attack. Insted he was almost floating forward the greet her like a clanmate.
Bearpaw looked into Fragment's beautiful eyes and then blinked away as if breaking from a trance. The apprentice looked around and then purred oncemore. To have a friend visit and to have the bliss of loyalty from her coming onto forbidden land was almost overwhelming. No cat had really ever done that for Bearpaw.
"I'm not the cat wandering onto another clan's territory...c'mon, I wanna show you a nice place."

Fragmentpaw wanted to ask about what he was thinking but she keeped her thoughts hidden. She sat down to lick her paws off, the snow was making them cold. Though Fragmentpaw was usually good at coming up with comebacks she couldn't help but feal uneasy about making Bearpaw feal like she was to spunky for her won good...then again did he like spunky females? Who knew...
Fragmentpaw purred again, "Well you were the one standing looking at Shadowclan! If a warrior saw you they would have thought you were insane!!" She giggled at Bearpaw, "Ok, you go ahead and lead" She said twitching her tail happly.
