Back from the Moonstone-Apprentices and Warriors

[glow=red,2,300]Dragonstar padded swiftly into the camp, gaining speed he leapt onto the HighRock, causing his bright pelt to flash in the sun, he stood facing his clan and meowed the familar call, "All cats old enough to catch their own food join here beneath the HighRock for a Clan Meeting!" He then sat down to wait for the clan to appear.[/glow]

Gingertail looked at Dragonstar as he returned to camp. The brave warrior walked up to him, bowing hre head respectfully. "Welcome home, Dragonstar," she said kindly.

Frynose, who was nearby, too walked up, ignoring Gingertail completely. The two had been enemies from the beginning, and had never liked each other. "Welcome."

[The Breezeh]

Spiritwhisper skipped out from the warriors den. She was in a happy mood today. Her bright green eyes sparkled in the sunlight. Her black pelt was a high contrast to the eyes. She looked took a place in the clearing highrock stood and waited patiently for the meeting to begin.

((Why does there seem to be a highrock in EVERY camp? lol!))

[Iceface]

Icekit peered out of the nursery and sniffed. "Alright Dragonstar is back." Icekit tensed waiting to hear the leaders words. "Maybe just maybe today was the day..." Icekit thought to himself.

Angelfur followed Ginglertail. "Welcome back DragonStar" Angelfur meowed respectfully. Looking at her leader, she couldtell a change had occured in him. I hope he makes a good Deputy decision. And that hes a good leader. But he'll ahve to be. Stormstar picked him right? she thought to herself.

Gingertail turned back to Angelfur. "Atleast we have Lilyfeather and Dragonstar back, which is good. I was beginning to get worried." Smiling, she looked at all the other gathering cats, happy to see everyone else so happy. It was not often all the cats were happy.

"I know. Good thing nothing bad happened to us while they were gone" Angelfur meowed back to her friend. Looking around shen oticed cats crepping out of the dens and streaching. "I'll be glad when we have a Deputy and everything gets back to normal" she meowed.

Spiritwhisper sighed happily. She knew in her heart that Dragonstar would make an excellent leader. She would miss the old leader, but she was sure Stormstar had not picked Dragonstar for nothing. She wondered what it was like when he visited starclan...Anglefur's voice interrupted her from her thoughts. She decided to add her voice to the converse between Gingertail and Anglefur.

I can't wait to see who it will be!

Spiritwhisper said quietly. Her voice was always quiet. Never loud or angry. Quiet. This was because Spiritwhisper hated to attract attention to herself. She was not clanborn. Her father had been killed from foxes saving her and Spiritwhisper had been lucky enough to stumble into Riverclan.

[glow=aqua,2,300]Streamkit had been sitting quietly from the front of the medicine cat den when she heard a rumbling yowl. Dragonstar! The ceremonies must be happening! Afraid to miss it, she leaped up from her herbs and skittered across the sand strewn clearing toward the towering grey boulder emerging from the ground. Her beautiful blue fur flowed with her movements as she ran, and for a moment, she lost herself in thought.

Who will my mentor be? Lilyfeather? The thought made her smile for a moment, and then she stopped. She had never really thought about it before. If she was medicine cat, she couldn't have kits or even a mate! A muddled look crossed her face, shadowing her bright blue eyes, as she realized this. Maybe it was best Raggedpaw became medicine cat apprentice.....[/glow]

Cougarpaw strut proudly into the clearing, ginger head held high like the branches that swayed above the tallest day. Today, he would become a warrior hopefully! As a apprentice, his mentor had died, but he had carried on, doing his duties and protecting the clan. He muddled dully on the loner he had fought once. A growl built in his throat but he pushed it down. He was going to be a warrior, none of those past memories mattered now!.......

^{Earthkit peeked out of the nursery next to Icekit, his maber eyes flaring happily. He knew he was going to be an apprintice, he just knew it. Earthkit looked over his sholder to look a hit brother Firekit who had also peeked out of the nursery next to him. Earthkit pawed the ground, trying to hold his exitment in. Earthkit quickly turned his head to stare at Dragonstar again, it seemed to be taking forever for Dragonstar to talk again, 'Come on, please Starclan make me an apprintice!" thought Earthkit happily.}



Streampelt slowly padded up near Spiritwhisper and bowed her head in greeting. Streampelt was exited in see who the deputy would be, she knew it couldn't be her because she had never had an apprintice before. She just wanted to see who's paws would hold the fate of the clans in the future. Streampelt sat down and wraped her tail around her paws the waited

Angelfur turned and smiled at Spiritwhisper. "Neither can I" she meowed politely. Turning back to Gingertail, she sighed. "I can't take waiting much longer!" she hissed loud enough for the cats around her to hear. Angelfur was an impatient cat at times, and now was one of those times. But she was also a very calm cat most the time. Always thinking of her clan first, and of course of the Leader.

Icekit hopped from his left paws to his right. If he could he'd dart right into the center of the cats yowling like he was mad. He even didn't care to make a snid comment to Firekit, he in fact was hoping they'd all get to be apprentices."Come on Dragonstar." The kit muttered under his breath.

Spiritwhisper noticed the impatience of some of the clan members. She stifleda laugh Icekit. She walked up to him.

Slow down there kiddo. It looks like you are about to run a race!

She chuckled jokingly. Secretly she envied all of the kits. They had always had a family and most of them had never had to run for their life and seen their fathers own death. She sighed, why did she think that way. She smiled happily again.

"I, Dragonstar, Leader of RiverClan, call upon my Warrior Ancestors to look down on these three Apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble Code and I commend them to you as Warriors in their turn. Northpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Northland. StarClan honours your bravery and your strangth and we welcome you as a full Warrior of RiverClan. Lightpaw from this moment on you will be known as Lightbreeze. StarClan honours your bravery and your strangth and we welcome you as a full Warrior of RiverClan. Cougarpaw from this moment on you will be known as Cougarwhisper. StarClan honours your bravery and your strangth and we welcome you as a full Warrior of RiverClan. Dragonstar paused and waited for the clan to welcome the new warriors.[/glow]

Whisperclaw looked at Dragonstar, smiling. It had been so long since a long meeting and apprentices were made. Smiling at Dragonstar, she nodded, giving him a welcoming look. "It is wonderful to see you, Dragnstar."

Gingertail looked at her mother, than Dragonstar. Finally, it was time to name the deputy. Of course, she could not be named, but she was excited to see who it was. Oh, StarClan, let him pick someone good and wise. She had every faith in their new leader, but she always thought that extra luck would help.

Angelfur stared up at her leader with blue eyes. Nows the time she thought with a sigh. Who would it be? Nervousness pricked at her paws. Looking around her, she saw so many canidates to be Deputy. The setting sun cast a warm glow upon teh camp. Angelfur found it easy to forget all this had ever happened if she closed her eyes. Easy to for Stormstar had ever died, that her Best Freind had ever died. Opening her eyes, she looked up at Dragonstar. He looked confident, ready for anything. Could I ever be like that? Anglefur wondered to herself.

Twilightpelt scurried out from under the warriors den. He dropped his head and walked slowly into the group of cats, taking a seat next to Angelfur. "I don't believe I slept through this much of it," he said, sounding a little embarassed. "What's happened so far?"

Angelfur turned at the sound of Twilightpelts voice. "Dragonstars just named apprentices to Warriors." she answered politely. "He should be naming the Deputy soon" Anglefur added on.

"Oh, so that's why you're so nervous," he whispered to her, brushing her shoulder. He looked up at Dragonstar, he trusted his leader and knew he would choose a good deputy, Twilightpelt just wondered who.

Angelfur looked at him with her kind blue eyes. "Yea. Kind of. I just hope he makes a good decision" she meowed to Twilightpelt.

Twilight nodded. "He will, he hasn't led us astray yet." Twilight returned his gaze to Dragonstar. "You have any guesses about who it will be?"

"He hasn't said anything to anyone. So we don't know..." Angelfur replied to Twilightpelt. Looking att him, she smile weakly.

Twilight returned the smile, brushing against her shoulder reassuringly. "Just builds the tension I guess."

"I suppose" Angelfur murmured to Twilightpelt. The first stars of the night were begining to appear in the night sky. Angelfur brushed her tail along Twilightpelts flank and smiled.

From the back of the camp a thin she-cat sat silently and watched the leader announce the three apprentice's warrior names. Her icy vlue eyes gazed forward, as the clan cheered for them. She then looked away, knowing she should be with them, but why? Her tail was pulled close to her as she dropped her head, i'm pathetic she thought. Shaking her head she looked back Why am I doing this to myself? I hardly know anyone here or talk to them, but I need to take a few steps away from this depression and actually participate in clan life.

Standing she walked out towards the group of cats, taking a seat somewhat by herself near the back. Turning her gaze to Angelfur and Twilightpelt she blinked, probebly good friends. Turning her gaze back to Dragonstar she heaved a heavy sigh, it was time for her to learn what she could do for the clan. She needed to step away from all of the memories that upset her and start fresh. Pulling her tail close to her feet and flicking her ears forward to listin to anyone, and definatly listin to Dragonstar. Fernleaf and Tigerheart have probebly moved on, I need to move on too.

[glow=black,2,300]Streampelt chanted the two names of the warriors. She was happy her friend Northpaw was finialy an warrior. No they could hang out more withoutbeing buged about training. Streapelt purred delightfuly.[/glow]

Anglefur looked over at Streampelt. Flicking her tail, she motioned for the she-cat to come over.

[glow=black,2,300]Streampelt glanced over at Angel, Blackthorn had been cusions to Streampelt and when Streampelt was first born. Blackthorn hated Angelfur for taking her mate away from her. So she learned to hate the pretty she-cat. Yet for Blackthorn's finial moon she had became a great friend with Angel, yet because Streampelt had learn to hate the she-cat. She didn't wuite trust her.

Streampelt gingerly walked over to the she-cat and sat near her. "Yes?"[/glow]

Angelfur was a bit taken aback by the look in SAtreampelts eyes. "How are you?" she asked as calmly as she could manage
