Back from the Moonstone-Apprentices and Warriors

"Lightbreeze! Cougarwhisper!, Northland!" Icekit chanted along with his clans mates in glee. He thought highly of Northpaw already and now he was a warrior, Northland. Icekit allowed himself to calm down if anything to avoid upsetting Firekit.

Dragonstar looked around at his clan, he caught sight of Crimsonpaw, Crimsonpaw was the same age as Cougarwhisper he had forgotten to make her(?) a warrior. He started again"....and Crimsonpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Crimsoncloud. StarClan honours your bravery and your strength and we welcome you as a full Warrior of RiverClan." He meowed. " Icekit you are ready to become an apprentice. From now on you will be known as Icepaw," He continued. "Twilightpelt you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Icepaw." He stopped and waited for apprentice and mentor to touch noses.[/glow]

Twilightpelt purred and stepped forward, leaning down to touch noses with his apprentice.

Hearing that Icekit had become Icepaw Made Firekits pelt prickle. "No way am i going to let the mousebrain become an apprintice without me" he hissed as he rased out of the nursery.
arthkit quickly followed his brother, scared of what might happen if they didn't get Dragonstar's attention.

Angelfur glanced at Twilightpelt as he touched noses to his Apprentice. But something caught her eye. It was Icekit and Earthkit slipping out of the Nusery. "Earthkit" Angelfur called out.

At the sound of his name, Earthkit turned around to see Angelfur. Earthkit quickly glanced backat Firekit an dwatch him string away after Icepaw. Earthkit let out a small sigh, he had always though of Angelfur as a mother. For Blackthorn was always taking care of Firekit and never him. Earthkit purred as he walked over to Angelfur, "Mommy, I havn't seen you in forever", now that Blackthorn was dead Earthkit felt the freedom to call Angelfur his mother sence it was her who raised him. "Do you think Dragonstar willforget about me and Firekit?" he asked.

Angelfur purred and leaned down to lick her adoptive sons head. "I know. You're getting so big!" she exclaimed. Sure, Earthkit wasn't her realy son, but she had taken care of him when Blackthorn hadn't. "He won't. I won''t let him" Angelfur told him. It felt good hearing Earthkit call her his mother, and she purred louder.

Earthkit purred as Angelfur talked to him. "Good" he meowed, sounding relived. Looking around him, he sighed. "Who do you think will be deputy mommy?" Earthkit asked.[/Center][/Size] [/Size]

[Northland]

Northland's fur was litterally on-end, she was so happy. (If she had known what stage-fright was, she would have realised that was what the slightly queazy feeling in her stomach was.) She and Lightbreeze where warriors now, she couldn't ever remember being so proud that her brain wasn't even running at full speed. her tail almost swished involuntairily, but she was just able to keep it still. Her eyes where sparkling as curiosity shone through her mind-fuzzying elation, (it was difficult to think of anything bad at the moment,) Who would the new deputy be?

Icekit touched noses with his mentor Twilightpelt. "This is it." Was all he could think about. He'd get to sleep in the Apprentice's den now. He would be able to hunt, fight, and fight some more against Riverclan's enemies. But the best part he'd never have to sneak out of camp.

Hazlekit looked at Icekit proudly, she curled her soft hazle brown tail around her small petite paws, she looked at him sweetly and let out a sweet purr. Hazlekit saw Earthkit out of her peripheral vision,
I wonder when I'll be an apprentice' she thought quietly and smiled at Earthkit with a kind gaze she nodded to him then to Firekit.

Hazlekit sighed heavily as her sister Gingerkit came towards her. Gingerkit was now long legged smooth pelt and glowing emerald eyes, while Hazlekit still looked small and helpless.

Gingerkit came up beside her sister, her orange flamed pelt shown with the suns ray brightly. She let out a happy greeting to her sister, "Someday we'll be up there, hopefully real soon" she smiled and licked her younger sister's ears and looked at Icekit and his new mentor.

Cougarwhisper bowed his head respectfully to his leader, before racing over to the group of warriors that had gathered beneath the highrock. Eyes sparkling, he mewed a hushed hello, glancing at the two other new warriors, Lightbreeze and Northland. This is so great! Whiskers twitching, he gazed across the clearing. He thought he caught sight of Splashheart, the pretty blue furred she-cat he had talked to by the river before, but the crowd of cheering cat swayed in front of her, obscuring his view. Giving a aggravated hiss, he settled down, letting his head fall to his paws. His dull orange pelt glowed like fire in the sunlight, but he hardly seemed to notice it.

Streamkit cheered with the crowd, calling the new warriors by their new names. Her blue eyes stared worriedly up at Dragonstar. " Come on! Make me an apprentice." She whispered, eyes clouding with the though that maybe, once again, she would be forgotten.

Featherkit slowly exited the nursery, her limbs stiff from a nice long nap she'd taken. Her eyes threatened to droop closed again, so she opened them wide and took deep breaths of fresh air. Her little paws carried her forward, and she glanced at the cats around her. Firekit. A small grin lit her face as she remembered teasing the tom until he got so mad he was desperate to prove ihmself to her.
"Hello" She whispered to him, walking by and sitting in front of him as if she didn't acknowledge he existed.

[Cinder.and.Flightfall]

Silentkit watched the ceremony from the far corner of the camp. She wanted to yowl congratulations to everyone, and if only she could. Sadly, she couldn't.

Sunlight shined onto her white and silver pelt, and her pretty blue eyes glowed. Maybe if she tried to talk, she would. Silentkit opened her mouth, and not a sound came out. Her ears drooped backwards, and her tail hung low. Silentkit looked sadly at her paws and turned her back to the crowd.

Lightbreeze purred proudly. knudging aginst Northland. at last! They were warriors! it had been a long road, but finally, they had made it. SHe could see Heavystorm and Snowpelt smiling at her from among the other warriors. Now she turned towards Dragonstar--who would be the new deputy?

"Streamkit you are ready to become an apprentice, from now on you will be known as Streampaw. Spritwhisper you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Streampaw." He continued. "Spottedkit you are ready to become an apprentice, from now on you will be known as Spottedpaw. Springblossom you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Spottedpaw." Dragonstar meowed. "Daisypaw you need a mentor. Heavystorm I expect you to pass on all you know to Daisypaw." He paused, taking a huge breath. "Tearkit you are ready to become an apprentice. From now on you will be known as Tearpaw. Doodlepelt you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Tearpaw." Dragonstar smiled at his son. "Mistkit you are ready to become an apprentice, from now on you will be known as Mistpaw. Birchheart you are ready from an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Mistpaw." He continued. "Phesantpaw you need a mentor. Frynose you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Phesantpaw." He stopped, regaining his breath. "Dapplepaw you need a mentor. Silverheart you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Dapplepaw." He meowed. "Maskedpaw you need a mentor. Thrushflight you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you knw to Maskedpaw." He continued. "Foxpaw you need a mentor. Morninglily you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Foxpaw." He paused. "Ripplepaw you need a mentor. Autermleaf you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Ripplepaw." He mewed. "Dustpaw you need a mentor. Hawkwing you are ready for an apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Dustpaw." He stopped. "Gingerpaw you need a mentor. Angelfur gazed at Earhtkit, who was beside her. Leaning down, she touched noses to the apprentice. "I'll train you well. For Blackthorn" Angelfur murmured to herself.

Already growing red underneth his red pelt.
Firekit was still mad at Featherkit for what she did.
Firekit had a small crush on Featherkit also, and when Firekit had a crush on someone.
He was extra stubborn and mean towerds them.
Firekit pulled his tail under him embarestly,
"I meen you CAN sit by me if you really want to..." he hissed

FirePAW couldn't belive his ears, did Dragonstar just say his name? No he couldn't- but yes he did.
Firepaw raised his head in happiness. He was proud to be an apprintice.
He trotted over to his mentoer and touched noses with her. Then trotted back towerds Featherkit a huge grin on his face.

Featherkit flickedh er ears to let Firekit know she'd heard him, but ignored him all the same. That's right, she was playing hard to get. She had to admit to herself, he was kind of cute... Featherkit shook her head and triedto stop thinking that way. "Bad Feather! Bad!" She thought. As Dragonstar begant o speak, her heart sank. Why wasn't she an apprentice?

Earthpaw touched noses with angelfur. His whole body wriggled happily. " You will be a great mentor momma." He said his tabby pelt shining and there was endless happiness was bursting in his eyes.

Angelfur gazed down at her adoptive kit, her eyes shining with happiness. "And you'll be a great Apprentice" she meowed to him.

Dragonstar started again, there was still another apprentice to make. "Featherkit you are ready to become an apprentice. From now on you will be known as Featherpaw. Snowpelt now that Lightbreeze is a warrior you are free to have another apprentice, I expect you to pass on all you know to Featherpaw."[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Snowpelt smiled widely. His second apprentice. He stepped up to Featherpaw and touched noses with his apprentice. "Of course, Dragonstar," he meowed to his leader.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Heavystorm glanced around for Daisypaw. His first apprentice! And Snowpelt has his second, he observed. Good for him. "Heavystorm will be glad to train Daisypaw to become a warrior," he said proudly, touching noses with his apprentice.

Tearpaw's eyes widened. Finally! She was an apprentice! Estatic, she bounced up to Doodlepelt and touched noses with him. "Can we start training right away?" she mewed. "And with Snowpelt and Featherpaw, too? Please?"[/glow]

Featherpaw felt herself smile gleefully like an idiot as her mentor touched noses to her. Then another of those bad thoughts entered her head. Ooh, he's kind of cute too! 'Bad Feather! Bad, bad, bad! Featherpaw scolded herself in her head.

[glow=red,2,300]Doodlepelt looked down at his new apprentice, Tearpaw as he touched noses with her. "We can start training tomorrow." He meowed smiling. "Of course we can train with the others, if they'll let us, why don't you ask them?" His first apprentice, he was so happy! He looked up at his father on the Highrock and smiled at him too. Thanks dad, he thought joyfully. I'll work hard and make you proud.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Dragonstar noticed his son smiling at him and immediately smiled back. Now to announce the deputy, he thought. With a deep breath he started again, " Now for the deputy, I say these words before the spirits of StarClan so that they may here and approve of my choice, Angelfur will be the new Deputy." And it was said.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Snowpelt chuckled at Featherpaw. She looked happy enough. He looked up as Tearpaw came trotting over, tail straight.

"Can we train with you guys tomorrow, Snowpelt?" she mewed.

"If it's okay with Doodlepelt, I don't see why not," replied the warrior.

"He said it's alright."

"What about you, Featherpaw? Would you mind group-training with Doodlepelt and Tearpaw?" Snowpelt asked his apprentice. He knew Doodlepelt to be Dragonstar's son, but nothing more. They were more aquaintances than friends.

His ears pricked. Angelfur, deputy. Hm. He didn't know how well that would go, but it didn't bode well, for sure. Peace is too peaceful; there was something big coming. Really big.[/glow]

Angelfur looked up, surprised at Dragonstars annoucment. Shock went through her body, but it was a excited shock. "Thank you Dragonstar. I will do My best" she meowed to him

Firepaw was just about to yell at Featherpaw about he becomeing an apprintice when he herd who was going to be deputy. Firepaw turned to look at Angel, he didn't know what to say. Should he go up and say congrats to her. Or should he stay here and yell at Featherpaw somemore. Firepaw slowly got up and padded over to Angelfur "I knew you were going to be deputy" that was the best congrats he could give.

Featherpaw walked away absentmidedly, nodding back to the group. "uhh, sure. Whatever Snowpelt wants..." She mewed. She walked forward until she was a few tail lengths away from Angelfur, wondernig if Angeulfur would notice her, or if she'd have ot announce her arrival.

Angelfur looked at Firepaw. "Thank you Firepaw" she meowed to him. Glancing around, Anglefur caught sight of Featherpaw. "Hello Featherpaw" she meowed to Fatherpaw.
