Lilyfeather nodded, more to herself than to the leader. This would be her second trip so moonstone, and she was looking forward to it. But Dragonheart--No, Dragonstar as leader....It was both exciting, and a little disheartening. Wasn't he just Dragonpaw a little while ago? Didn't he just become a warrior yesterday? No. But the way Lilyfeather was thinking made it seem so...And for that matter, it made her seem to be an elder, when in fact Dragonstar was (probably) older.
OOC: Shhh....I'm skipping my homework for this! Don't tell anyone!

Lilyfeather nodded again. "It's not a terribly long trip, but herbs are still needed to keep our strength up." She flicked her tail and turned back to her den. "So the, I'll be preparing the herbs right away. Come with the others when you're ready."

Lightpaw purred happily, her zeal showing through her bright green orbs; Moonstone, here I come! She trotted off to the medicine cat's den. She knew the herbs would taste horrid, but at least they would keep hunger at bay until they were back.
Snowpelt soon followed, slower and calmer. But he was just as excited as Lightpaw, and was smiling the whole way. He couldn't help but get his hopes up--maybe Dragonstar would tell him who the new deputy would be. That cat could very well be him. He had put the tension between them behind him, hoping to start out fresh. It seemed it would pay off.[/glow]

"Wait up!" Mewled Northpaw excitedly as she shot off after Lightpaw. This is going to be wonderful! Thought Northpaw ecstaticly, Moonstone, huh? Can't wait!

Dragonheart looked at the excited apprentices and Snowpelt. He didn't regret his decision to take them with him, in fact he was glad they were coming, when he got back there would be jobs to do apprentices to mentor a patrols to organize. The immenseness of his jobs for the clan hit him, but he would have a deputy who would help him through. Dragonheart padded after them a small smile lighting up his face.[/glow]
