Featherpaw cautiously walked into the clearing, hoping dearly that Firepaw wouldn't be here. The last time they'd met, she'd stupidly blabbed her mouth about how cute she though he was when he got angry. When she did a 360› look around, she heaved a sigh of relief and began to walk out into the clearing with a touch more confidence. Firepaw wasn't here.
"Oh, hello." She mewed, beaming at the new cats.

[glow=red,2,300]Lightbreeze listened attentively to the conversation, not bothering to join in. It wasn't her place. She did want to say, 'I lost my mother, too.' but didn't. She hadn't even known her mother.
She nodded respectfully in greeting to Angelfur. She was doling out Patrols! Perfect! "Angelfur, mind if I come along?" she mewed. "I could find Snowpelt, too, and see if he wants to come. Oh, and Doodlepelt, Tearpaw was looking for you. She should be in the apprentice den," she added to the older warrior.[/glow]

Featherpaw brightened at the sound of her metnor's name.
"Ooh! Could I come? I want to!... If it's not a hassle, I know you mentors have a lot of warrior duties, personal things to talk about, but I mean, it would be a great start for my training!" Featherpaw mewed, slightly talking to herself on certain parts, but always staring up at the other cats with wide and anticipating eyes.

Angelfur looked at all teh cats willing to go on Patrol. "Doodlepelt is supposed to take Tearpaw and Featherpaw out on a patrol" Anglefur started. KNowing that would make the Apprentice happy. "I'm to take Twilightpelt and Nightcloud. Lightbreeze could you take Snowpelt and Streampelt on a Hunting Patrol please?" she asked. Angelfur hoped she had gotten them correct. [/Center][/Size] Streampelt looked at the Deputy, fury showing in her eyes. But she didn't say anything. Maybe Snowpelt and Lightbreeze would hunt with each other and leave her alone. [/Size] |

Featherpaw felt her entire being light up with joy, and she almost began to prance and dance around, but her genuine respect and law to stay calm made her sit and wait patiently. Elegance seemed to be an aura coming from her, even though she felt she was as far from it as she could get.
"Thank you Angelfur." She mewed in a whispery tone, nodding her head in respect.

Solarpaw looked away bitterly, he didn't even have a mentor. He felt angered by all the other apprentices happily training with their mentor, he hissed under his breath.
Silverwater flicked Solarpaw's ear and gave him a look to hold his tongue. Solarpaw nodded and looked at his paws. Silverwater then padded out of the camp by herself.

She didn't mean to be bossy, really--it just sorta came out.

Northland padded into the warrior's den just in time to see Lightbreeze heading out. She was about to follow her when her nose caught the scent of a cat she wasn't familiar with. She looked around idly to see whose scent it was and spotted a cat she didn't know. Well, thought Northland for a moment, I can always ask her later. She paced a few more steps forward and flicked her tail in greeting to the new cat.
