Hunting in the Marsh [Open]

A white she-cat padded through the marsh, her silver eyes glittering as she searched for prey. Her silver striped pelt shimmered in the darkening sky as she moved along. The sounds of nocturnal creatures waking echoed around the lithe she-cat. Her small form froze as scrabbling paws sounded clearly in the grasses. The she-cat crept close and launched herself through a thick cluster of leaves. She emerged again, proudly carrying the form of a vole.

"Innocent, Innocent!!'
yowled Fragmentpaw as she ran over the marshes of Shadowclan. Her heart poudly agents her cheast wildly and a huge grin was spread out across her face. "Guss what?!" she panted as she slowly sat down by her friend. "I am going on a potrol today!" she purred. Fragmentpaw was an older apprintice, though because she was a loner and is the daughter of Meer and was named after Shard. She was always consiterd dangerous so she was mostly always on hunting potrols.[/glow]

Another apprentice trailed after Fragmentpaw, her blue eyes wide and watchful as she skidded to a stoped baside the other she-cat. Her black fur was plastered down in the heat, but her tail still twitched anxiously and her nose was lifted to scent the air. " Maybe I could join you, huh Fragmentpaw?" Her head was tilted to the side. She was releived to leave the caamp after she pulled a muscle a week ago, and wanted to stretch up a bit and catch some prey for the clan to impress Dogstar, her mentor and leader. She unsheathed her claws into the the soft moss, feeling the moisture soften her paw pads.

Innocentsould looked up from her catch as her name was called. She smiled as young Fragmentpaw came rushing towards her. The she-cat smiled at she heard the apprentice's news. "Congratulations, Fragmentpaw. I know you'll do wonderful." The she-cat purred and nudged the the apprentice happily on the flank. Innocentsoul looked past Fragmentpaw as another apprentice appeared. She msiled, unable to remeber their name.
