Turtlepelt watched the ordeal from the tree untill Sunpaw came in. She had been shaking with rage after Shard, or as she formerly knew the black kit, Shardpaw, had told her story. She had just talked to the apprentice's and complemented them when Sunpaw attacked her, and she herself didn't blind Shard, the black cat was full of lies, and Turtlepelt was just a kit at that point in time. Hissing with rage, Turtlepelt clawed her way down the tree. Only when she the bottom did she notice another cat that was stepping out of the shelter of the trees. After the cat had conversed with Desertmist for a short period of time did she step out of the bushes, not to look at Desertmist and the other cat, but to glare at Sunpaw.

Turtlepelt stepped out of the trees with no trace of fear at the rouge when Meer turned to look at her. Instead of saying something, she glared at Sunpaw yet again.

Meer felt a warning hiss rise in her throat. "What are you doing here?" She growled, her claws unsheathed and her tail began to lash in fury.

Meer started a steady low growl in her throat. "She didn' lie about anyone, and you saying that, is just your opinion, and had I wanted your opinion, I would have given it to you." Meer hissed.

Turtlepelt ignored Meer, and turned instead to look where Shardpaw had went, then she finally replied to the Rouge. "Have a little crush here now don't we?" she asked in a mocking tone.

Meer looked confusedly at her. "On who? Shard is a GIRL and I am a GIRL. I don't even know this other cat!" Meer was quick on her defense, not because she cared, but she liked the thought of looking down on others. The thought was delicious, and it amde he feel warm and fuzzy inside,

Turtlepelt ignored Meer, not wanting to tell her that she made a mistake, and kept any expressions but hate towards Sunpaw and Shardpaw off her face.

Turtlepelt didn't ignore the sand colored cat this time, instead, she replied to Meers previous question. "Everyone makes mistakes, you made one joining Skull." she said indignantly.

Turtlepelt aknowledged this with a nod. "I didn't question whether or not you were still a cat, but I don't understand why rouges and the clans hate each other so much." she mewed, a calm tone returning to her voice.

"It makes sense all right, but there's plenty of places the Rouges can live, its a big world out there, this isn't the only place in existance, theres a big vast expanse of endless water called the sea close to the cost, and thousands of other forest where shelter, water, food, and the other vital needs for survival are." replied Turtlepelt, finally turning to face Meer.

Mer shrugged. "Hey, I'm not a leader im a follower. Dont ask me. Besides, I've been to the sea, it's harsh during summers, the waves get choppy and sometimes they cause bbig destruction. THe desert is just as bad. You can't even drink sea water!" Mer mewed.

Turtlepelt flicked her tail in agreement. "The clans could move just as well, but I think they don't because the journey is to perilous, even for the strongest cats. The trek would seem almost endless to find a new suitable home with all the basic needs for survival, including food, a good area for camp, and not to mention the medical herbs greatly needed for the sick and injured, plus many elders and kits would die, reducing the numbers of the group. replied Turtlepelt.
