My Old Mentor

[Rosepelt]

Rosepelt, sat, staring into the dark den of Wingstar. She could see nothing, only hear the breeze hit her and the den. The leave would hit the sides, then fall, like helpless kits when a bully is picking on them. "Wingstar..." He voice faded, and the words barely left her lips. "Wingstar, I need to talk to you.. I need..." Yet again, her throat swelled up, and she could feel the tears about to fall from her eyes.

Ever since her parents had left, she was alone, lost. Puddleclaw was her only friend, but even their friendship had severed. But Wingstar, her mentor, was always there, always ready to listen to her story, ready to let her cry. The two had been close during training. And now, she needed help... courage more of.

"Wingstar, I need to see you." This time her voice was firm, and culd carry to the inside of the den.

OOC: My character's not quite back from moonstone yet, but for now I'll pretend she is.

Wingstar pricked up an ear as Rosepelt called for the second time. "Yes rosepelt, please come in." She called. Her voice seemed to fill the den, even reaching the farthest depths of it. She lifted herself up and sat down in the center of the den, her tail twitching back and forth, raising the moss in a few places.

Rosepelt looked blankly at Wingstar for a moment, then walked in. The den was warm and empty, leaves in some piles. But the feeling was nice and warm, very enjoyable. "Nice den, the leader's den," she critiqued, her voice almost echoing. Trying not to giggle, she looked at Wingstar. "Good trip back home, I trust."

Wingstar smiled a small smile, only raising the very tips of her lips. "Yes, I did. I'm surprised that I managed to get back as quickly as I did though." she meowed. She twitched her tail again, raising more moss from the ground. "Is there something you need?"
