[glow=blue,2,300]A startled Swiftwind padded over to the kits who were huddled a bit away from the fighting cats, who's snarls of rage ripped across the clearing like lightning, it was like the cats didn't even know that other cats were watching, eyes stretched wide at the quarreling warriors. Swift quickly looked over the kits, making sure that they hadn't been hurt by the cats. " What are you two doing!" he yelled at Shadowstone and Emberheart. A pain broke in his chest and he trotted over to them,. " Hey, stop this fight!"[/glow]
Pantherkit huddled close to his sister, terror pale in his eyes, watching his mother fight her friend. He guessed that Whirlkit was startled also, because she didn't answer his questioned mewl of fright. The only thing he could think of was to stay close to her.

Badgerpaw watched as the two cats begain to fight,his heart was beating faster then a humming bird's wing flaped and his mind rased faster then any jack rabbit could.He didn't know anything- should he trust his instincts or his mind.Badgerpaw's black and white pelt slowly started to brisle when he relised what he had to do,"Emberheart stop!! This is a battle for Shadowstone and Shadowstone alone!" he hissed,"Let us leave our betraying friend to himself- but if he dares return to Windclan.Let Starclan have pitty on him" Hissed Badgerpaw.Badgerpaw knew thatsome one the cats would hate being bossed around by a Medicine cat apprintice, but Badgerpaw knew he was doing the right thing. |

Shadowstone broke away from Emberheart's grasp and jumped back.The wound on his neck healed quickly."Doesn't that feel good tasting someone eleses blood?"Shadowstone jumped over the stunned Emberheart."I'm off to the mountains..."He said to sunset.Then he turned back to Emberheart."...I'll be back for you in two moonrises so you can join the darkness!"Shadowstone then raced off towards the mountains.

Shadowstone ran through the braken as fast as he could.He finally came to a stop.Suddenly sharp pains shot through him and he let out a yowl in pain,so loud that he was sure the cats at the cliff could hear him.

Ember's ears pricked up and her legs ached to turn and help her friend. She held firm and kept walking a tear falling to her black nose.
