sweeping a life

[Morninglily]

Yarrowkit jumped and pranced in the feild hiding and stalking a butterfly, she was so excited aobut being a medicine cat apprentice if she was able to, she wiggled her little butty, and jumped, she purred, her little paws tingeled with excitement.


Yarrowkit caught the butterfly in mid air, and held it in her paws, the little petrafied butterfly held back, and then noticed that yarrowkit wasn't going to hurt it.

[Shadowstone]

Then Shadowstone and Sunset walked up to there kit to only laugh."She's going to be a playful medicine cat,isn't she?"Shadowstone said to Sunset.

[Morninglily]

[glow=yellow,2,300]"Deffinately" she purred smiling at the young kit, "She's growing up before our eyes" she meowed while laughing at her playful kit.[/glow]


Yarrowkit smiled, she rubbed up against them both and purred, "Well I got to go collect herbs for our medicine cat" she meowed bounding off towards the pines.

[Shadowstone]

"Sunset,do you want me to stay with her?"Shadowstone asked.

[Morninglily]

Sunset nodded, "I need to go back to camp" she meowed, already walking away.

[Shadowstone]

Just then they heard a very loud shriek comming from where Yarrowkit was."Yarrowkit!!!"Shadowstone raced off in her direction.

[Morninglily]

[glow=yellow,2,300]Yarrowkit saw the Dog Fox coming closer to her, she growled dropping the herbs in her mouth, she snarled shaking her head, her white teeth showing, it was hard for yarrowkit, her disabilites made her weak, she lunged her self at the dog, biting it's neck...The dog grabbed her tail ripping her off....Yarrowkit landed with a thump on the hard ground, she stood up snarling as hissing............The dog fox grabbed little yarrowkit throwing her up in the air, Yarrowkit fell but landed on her feet, she attacked the dogg with many lashes and ripping one of it's eyes out, hse was still growling.....The dog fox was angered, and it's huge jaws came around yarrowkit, crushing her tiny body, yarrowkit gasped for breath, her body hurting every where, she looked up toward the sky seeing the faint stars...yarrowkit knew her fate but she woulsn't go down with out a fight, she scratched and scratched the other eye, but it was to late, Yarrowkit felt bone crushing, pain throbbing.....

Yarrowkit went limp, and the dog fox tossed her up in the air, and made her land with a thump, Yarrowkit was Dead.[/glow]

[Shadowstone]

When Shadowstone saw the blind dog fox and Yarrowkit's limp body,he lost control.Quickly his dark side covered his body and his rage kept growing.Tiny flames covered his body and he charged at the dog fox,he looked like a flaming bullet.

Emberheart ran through the bushes to where Shaodwstone and Sunset where, then she saw Yarrowkit. No not her she was just a kit Emberheart thought, "Shadowstone calm down" she cried trying to stop him.

[Morninglily]

[glow=white,2,300]a little life was left in Yarrowkit, her soul had sent a message, she was trying so hard for someone to hear her! [/glow]

[Shadowstone]

It was too late for Emberheart's words.Shadowstone hurled himself at the dog.When he hit it there was a big burnt mark on it's side.

[Morninglily]

[glow=white,2,300]Yarrowkit's eyes whre filled with pain, as her soul lingered in her body, trying to let the message out to anyone.[/glow]

[Shadowstone]

Shadowstone left the dog fox paralized and went to her kit."Yarrowkit is trying to say something!"

Emberheart glanced at the kit, quickly getting some poppyseeds, she placed them in the little kits mouth forcing her to eat them.

[Shadowstone]

"what are you trying to say?"Shadowstone asked the dying kit

[Morninglily]

[glow=white,2,300]her relfex let the seeds go down but the pain was to much... she would be leaving soon to join starclan, "Te....ll....mom....sh...hh....e wil..l.. find ......hap..i..ness...shadow.....kits" she coughed, her eyes going dull she relieved the shattered message to shadowstone and emberheart.[/glow]

[Shadowstone]

"......Yarrowkit...."He placed his muzzle into her warm fur,crying.

[Frostwing :)]

Emberheart licked Yarrowkit, then Shadowstones ears, she knew he loved Yarrowkit as well as Sunset.

[Morninglily]

[glow=white,2,300]Yarrowkit let out a light purr, as her body went finally cold, and her life was gone. Her eyes glazed with stars, and her warm floresent scent flooded over and disappeared.[/glow]

[Shadowstone]

"We have to tell Sunset."Sahdowstone said with tears still in his eyes.

[Frostwing :)]

"Yes if you want I can carry Yarrowkit's body" Emberheart mewed sorrowfully.

[Shadowstone]

"Okay."Shadowstone agreed

[Morninglily]

Sunset sat at camp peices of her ripping out, her heart lurched as she saw shadowstone....

[Shadowstone]

"Yarrowkit is........gone."Shadowstone said grimly

[Morninglily]

Sunset felt tears streaming down her face, her heart in two... she trotted up to shadowstone...."I'm pregnant" she whispered tears of sorrow shreading down her face..."oh yarrowkit" she cried.

[Shadowstone]

"What?You're pre..pregnant?!"Shadowstone couldn't belive it.Sunset was pregnant.

[Morninglily]

Sunset nodded she turned away to go to the nursery with shadowstone to let her pain go out.

[Shadowstone]

"Yarrowkit said something before she died.She said that you will find happyness in shadow...kits."

[Frostwing :)]

Emberheart picked up the body of Yarrowkit and layed her down next to Shadowstone.

[Morninglily]

Sunset saw the little limp body so small, the light and happiness in yarrowkit's eyes was gone, "I know what she meant......I'll see yarrowkit agian...just in different times" she whispered licking her daughters cold pelt as little snow flurrys fell from the blank white sky.
