Goldenpaw ran across the plains. Her dark red pelt glistening like blood in the night. She was searching for something. Something called her soul. A cat had taken her soul and shattered it. Some of the parts returned but they were jagged and they jabbed her heart. Only one cat could fix it. Badgerpaw. She was looking for the Med cat apprentice. If she didn't find him before the dawn of tomorrow she would die a prolonged death. Her soul would flee and she would be come a husk of herself until she died. Her death would be painful and even Starclan would not except her. She would wander the sky in pain and in loss waiting for her true love to return to her. Badgerpaw had crushed her spirit and she wished for only one thing. Freedom from this painful world. Perhaps death by Badgerpaw's claws. She would not live to see the next sunrise unless her love joined her one look at him would set her free and she would become an angel. Goldenpaw's death would be soon. She would either die a painful death or a loving one but she would not live. Goldenpaw would flee her earthly prison and would be free it would be a jailbreak. She would join Angelheart and together they would wait till the end of time for Badgerpaw. She would no longer feel pain mentally nor pysically. She would see Silentfoot her mother and Longtail her father. She would see Shadow. No longer would she be torn she would be free completly and utterly free. Pain would have no meaning and she would see her loved ones and be able to watch over them. She would only have love love only love and freedom.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge slipped silently through WindClan territory, his sleek silver pelt glinting in the dim moonlight. Lifting his nose to scent the air, cool recognition shot through him. Padding onwards, he spotted Goldenpaw racing along the plains with a sorrowful look in her eye. Racing to meet her, he slowed down to a hald in front of red she-cat and looked at her. "So what's going on with WindClan, has Badgerpaw opened his trap too anyone?" he mewed, growling the name Badgerpaw.[/glow]

Sunset heard crying while she came out for the night patrol, she ran toward the cries, and found goldenpaw, "Goldenpaw" she meowed and ran all the way down towards her.

"Hello Sunset" Goldenpaw meowed. She was tired and her voice showed it. She was laying down. Her eyes that once sparkled with life were now dull. Her end was near. Badgerpaw was no where to be seen. Her once sleek red fur was matted and ruffled. "Rouge I need to see Meer and Splinter find them please" she whispered.

Frostfur walked fast, her little paws trotting as fast as they could, it was so dangerous for her to be out here and not back with her kits, "Goldenpaw!" she cried running to her friend "What happened to you?" she meowed licking her friends ear.

"Frostpaw is that really you?" meowed Goldenpaw excitedly. "Oh I don't feel good that's all." That wasn't the truth but she wasn't going to burden Frostpaw with knowing she was going to die.

"yeah it's me...I'm now frostfur, and I'm a queen" she mewed settling herself down beside her close windclan friend, "Don't worry your going to be all right, I'll watch over you" she meowed licking her friends ear.

"Your a mother you mean you had kits that's wonderful Frostfur. I wish I had kit I mean I might be pregnet but I can't tell" she meowed. Then after that burst of energy she dropped back down.

"yes I had three kits a tom and two she-kits" she purred,"you will be, someday you'll have little blessings of your own" she meowed comfortly, "Don't waist your energy, your going to be alright you'll see" she meowed... she felt sadness seep through her like an open window, she felt her heart sink, this was her best friend the one who they pretended to have their own clan, the frolicking through the tall grass, the older sister figure, "it's gonna be okay" she meowed, "I bet you are, whose the lucky father" she meowed...."you know Goldenpaw, there is someone very special who really misses you...badgerpaw has been searching and hoping you'll come back to him" she whispered grooming goldenpaw's dull orange coat.

Badgerpaw's lardge paws hit the ground hard, making snow fly from under his pads.He needed to find Goldenpaw, he couldn't live without her and never could he lose her.As Badgerpaw ran he didn't notice that his paws were bleeding from steping on stones and thorns.Badgerpaw's eyes glanced around the clearing hoping to find the beautiful she-cat, yet all he sall was snow.
Badgerpaw let out a yowl of annoyance then sniffed the air, the sent of Goldenpaw was not far away.Badgerpaw quickly ran towerds the sent to find Goldenpaw and Frostfur talking about something.Badgerpaw took a deeo breath the walked into the clearing, hoping to seem clan though blood was all around his paws,"Goldenpaw" her murmerd. |

Badgerpaw winced atr Goldenpaw's words."Please Goldenpaw..." he started the changed his mind."Goldenpaw..." he repeted and walked over to his beloved and licked her ear.He felt as if warmth was crawling over his body yet also guilt.He could never love her like a regular tom wouldn, but none the less he loved her. |

Meer was rushing through the snow. Word out was that Goldenpaw was dying. That couldn't happen, not now, Meer needed her! Meer ran through the snow, and her paws cracked and bled. Meer took no notice of the enticing red blood that drizzled all over her. She took no notice as her pelt became full of burs, and thorns. She took not a glance at Badgeraw as she crashed into his sid,e to get him out of the way. She laid down by Goldenpaw.
"Don't do this. You can't, you're only an apprentice. You mustn't die." She growled, deifance in her voice, but a weepign sorrow too.

"I still have a little time" she murmered. "Shard will be happy all this time she wanted to kill me and yet now love will kill me" she whispered. "Meer tell my brother that I am sorry I didn't mean it." Then Goldenpaw drifted into a fevered haze. "Badgerpaw I love you so much take care of Drizzle when she comes." ((She won't die till drizzle is born and drizzle hasn't been accepted yet))

Meer hissed. "No! I wont let you go. If you go, who...Who will I have to be the blood aunt of my kits? I have Shard, and Turtle, but they are of no relation to me, and with all my love for them, what about you? This isn't my fault is it? What about me? How could I live with guilt?" Meer hated emotions. She had left them behind for so long, and now they were coming back to bite her in the...

Badgerpaw felt Meer's body push him away from his love his eyes closed at the feel of something stabbing him.A sharp rock had wounded the medicine cat apprintice yet it was the lest of his worrys.Badgerpaw quickly got up and pushed meer away,"I need Poppy seeds, Nettle ,Chamomile, and Catnip!!" yowled Badgerpaw as he licked Goldenpaw's head. |

Badgerpaw hated Meer, coudln't she see that if she didn't get the herbs Goldenapw would die? "Meer I need Poppy seeds, Nettle ,Chamomile, and Catnip!!" he repeted in a hurt voice as he layed down next to Goldenpaw,"Goldenpaw, please don't leave me! With out you I will crumble in this world, you were there when all shunned me..." he whisperd as tears ran down his cheak. |

Meer shook her head. "No....I only have one sibling left...Desertmist.... I don't want you to leave me Goldenpaw! First Angelheart, except I killed her, now you. Splinter is next isn't he? ISn't he!" Meer was having an emotional beakdown. She would never leave splinter, but if he died, she would live her left deftly. Immune to feelings, immune to everything.

"Not for awhile Angelheart explained it all to me. You and Splinter were supposed to kill her and I would die and so would Splinter but you two will live together for awhile. Our kits will become friends and Red Wind would bury me beside Angel and later Splinter then she would die and her kits would bury her and we would all be together. We will wait for everyone."

Badgerpaw bursted into tears, his throat stung with the cruel salty water of his tears and his mouth felt dry.He tried to say something but it was muffled by coughing and crying.Badgerpaw couldnt help it, he didn't want his only friend to leave.Anger rose deep within Badgerpaw's belly yet hidden by his crying.His nager was towerds himself, how could he have gotten mad at a beautiful soul like GOldenpaw? |

Goldenpaw wanted it to end. Everytime a tear fell on her pelt it changed back to the way it used to be soon it was completly golden again. Goldenpaw didn't have anymore breath no one would ever hear her talk again.
