Farpaw watched Blackpaw closely, admiring the improvement in her stance. He saw her first mistake, however, a moment later. She had, first off, let out a yowl to basically scream "Run away vole!" at the prey. Second, she had jumped just a little too early and landed too far away. The vole scurried off before Farpaw could try to evade the catch.
"Good try," Farpaw mewed. "But next time, I wouldn't yowl when you're getting close." He smiled, flicking his tail. You'll get it next time."

Blackpaw twitched her whiskers, a little cankily. "I just get too excited." she muttered. The little black apprentice turned to look at Wolverineclaw. "Mabye if I go for easier prey, I'll do better. Which animals are easiest to catch?"

Farpaw struggled not to smirk at Blackpaw's words. He remembered when he first started training, he'd been just as excited. Now he took things more slowly and tried to act more careful, though it killed him to do so. He did want to yowl again when trying to catch prey, to let everyone hear the triumph in his voice. But he knew that he had to become more mature if he ever wanted to be a warrior.
Farpaw glanced at Wolverineclaw. He hoped that maybe after this hunting was over, the warrior wouldn't mind trying some battle-training with them as well. He could feel his claws unsheathing at the thought. Farpaw loved to practice fighting, for he was small and quicker then most cats. He was about to respond to Blackpaw's question, then decided to allow Wolverine to answer for two reasons. One, he didn't know the answer, and two, he wanted to hear what else the warrior had to tell them.

(( Lets Add some Drama shall we =] )) Firepaw
''Where are you Waterpaw?" It has been almost two whole moon now since Waterpaw had gone missing. Waterpaw had though Blackthorn's death was her fault; so she raced off to Thunderclan hopping for a new start. The witty she-cat was usually covered with mud and dirt for she cares nothing for her looks; even though under all that dirt is a beautiful she-cat. Out of all the cats; she is the one who looks most like Blackthorn and just liked her mother ;gets into the most trouble.
Firepaw's dark red pelt shone like the sun as he slowly paddled across the river onto Thunderclan territory. Though he knew he was still in the same forest; Firepaw felt as if he was in a strange new land right when his paw hit Thunderclan ground. Firepaw shook himself dry before sniffing the air, the just missed a patrol. Mud caked Firepaw's lower half from walking through the shallow, muddy part of the river. This was a blessing in disguise for the mud coverd up most of his sent and the dark color would help him blend in with his surroundings better.
Firepaw let out a sigh of relief; he didn't want to deal with being caught. Not only would he get into trouble; but Firepaw might get Waterpaw into trouble with both Riverclan and Thunderclan. Firepaw quickly stalked into a near by bramble, keeping all his senses alert and sharp. He wasn't going to get caught; he couldn't. Slowly Firepaw begin his search for his sister.
It was a long time before Firepaw finally caught the sent of another cat; two Thunderclanners. "One of them could be Waterpaw". Quickly Firepaw climbed high into a tree and looked down at the two cats; none of them where Waterpaw. "Foxdug" he cursed. Firepaw watched as another cat showed up, by now Firepaw had sat down and was just enjoying watching the fighting apprentices. It made him purr softly to himself. He knew it was a bad idea to sit in a tree watching cats from a different clan, on there territory. The wind could make his sent drift over to them; but the little black she-cat was so funny to watch. Firepaw couldn't help but watched as the she-cat struggled to hunt for prey.

Blackpaw crawled forward, wobbly on her untrained paws. A startled mouse raced away from her paws. The little apprentice was so surprised she forgot to yowl and tore off after the rodent. The mouse swerved behind a tree. It squeaked when it sotted Firepaw, whirling around into Blackpaw's outstretched claws. Blackpaw trapped it without realizing it. She jumped when it wriggled in her paws. "I got a mouse!" she shrieked. "It's alive! Wuddo I do?" She looked up and spotted Firepaw. Her huge gold eyes stretched even farther and she gaped in confusion at the intruder.

Farpaw watched again, amused by Blackpaw's determination. He tasted the air, trying to find something else for him to catch. He gagged, however, when a fishy smell reached his senses. His golden amber eyes narrowed, his claws unsheathing and his pelt bristling. RiverClan- on ThunderClan territory as well. Judging by the scent, the cat was near Blackpaw as well.
"Blackpaw, wai-" But Blackpaw was already ahead of him. Sighing he caught up with her. Noticing that her eyes were gazing upwards, Farpaw looked up as well, sure enough seeing a blood-red RiverClan tom, gazing back down at them.
"Trespasser!" he hissed. "What are you doing on ThunderClan territory?"

Firepaw
Firepaw purred in amusement at the like of Blackpaw; she looked like she saw a dog itself. "What are you doing on ThunderClan territory?"; usually Firepaw would give an honest answer and tell the Thunderclanner it was none of his business but instead Firepaw decided to be truthful in a different way. "My,my, my what a pretty little she-cat! What would your name be" he asked in a charming voice. Firepaw could be a flirt if he truly wanted to yet right now he just wanted to make Farpaw angry. Firepaw disliked toms for a reason unknown to even him, it was always fun to make them angry.
"Oh- that must be your mate over there. He is so lucky; I would die nine deaths to have such a gorgeous cat like you as my mate" Firepaw's amber eyes sparkled with an emotion that only Firepaw could understand. It was emotion where at the sigh of your enemy's pain you get a feeling of pleasure beyond belief. Firepaw didn't know what Farpaw's reaction would be, but he knew that what ever happened all he had to do was ignore the tom and he would either have a beautiful she-cat in Thunderclan or a angry tom. Either way Firepaw would be happy.

ooc: BLAH! >.< He's got a wierd way of flirting! Blackpaw's look of astonishment turned to one of disgust. She was just about to lose her temper when the mouse in her paws figured out how to wriggle free. Now truly upset, Blackpaw went into a yowling fit. "You trespasser! Farpaw is not my mate! That's disgusting! I don't like Farpaw! And I don't like you! Get out of our territory! Wolverineclaw! There's a stupid cat in our territory!"

Farpaw's rage was replaced by a disgusted look on his face. Blackpaw, his mate?! StarClan, he barely knew the she-cat! Snarling at the RiverClan tom that was clearly amused by all this, Farpaw found himself rolling his golden amber eyes. He really, REALLY was not in the mood for all of this today. His claws dug into the dirt, narrowing his eyes.
"Blackpaw is not my mate!" he hissed almost a milisecond after Blackpaw. "I barely know her, for StarClan's sake! Stop using us as your little puppets and get off our territory before I force you out!" Lashing his tail, Farpaw took a step in advancement toward the tom.

(lol he isn't really flirting. He just like teasing cats outside his clans... and toms. He doesn't like toms because after Bloodclaw cheated on Blackthorn he was taught that toms where evil things... He was also born a rouge so he is some what evil at times....=] ) Firepaw
Firepaw purred again, it was so much fun to tease Thunderclanners. "Come on now, we where only having a bit of fun" Firepaw meowed. "Can't you two take a joke" Usually Firepaw didn't mess with other clanners; but today he just felt like he needed to do something. Firepaw rolled his eyes at the thought of a Thunderclanner beating him in battle and couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Firepaw's dark ember eyes where laced with hatred as he stared deep into Farpaw's eyes. "If you must know I am here of my own free will; I am Not for prey, not for fun, but because I can" Firepaw's red pelt glittered in the warm Greenleaf sun.
''keep ruffling there fur, Firepaw, and you might just be able to keep up your search for your sister" Firepaw thought to himself. Firepaw licked his chest, making it look as if he wasn't intrested in the two cats what so ever.

A tom with brown streaked fur, large for his age, padded through the flourishing woods of Thunderclan. His bright eyes glittered in the light that filtered through the thick leaves of the bright green trees. Bearpaw's ears flicked around at all the sounds around him. Birds trilling, the rustling of a rodent in he brush. Then a sound reached his ears that startled him. The starp mews of cats and then the high yowl of a she-cat. Bearpaw narrowed his eyes and then leaped into the bracken. The tom's paws hit the ground with rhythmic thuds and then he jumped to the scene of three cats, all apprentices, one in a tree. Bearpaw recognized his brother, Farpaw, and another Thunderclan apprentice, Blackpaw.
Bearpaw looked up into the tree, a fiery tom sat on a branch, his scent of Riverclan. At first Bearpaw was confused. Why was there a Riverclan cat in a tree in their territory? The brown hued male flicked his tail once before padding forward. He looked at the orange tom and then turned to the other Thunderclanners. Farpaw seemed to be very angry and Blackpaw looked a little startled. Bearpaw cast a casual glance at the trespasser but slid his claws out slowly. He looked at his brother again and then mewed.
Calm down Farpaw. Bearpaw then turned to the Riverclan cat. He had seen this tom before, at a gathering he thought, he remembered his fire-hued pelt. The brown tom then spoke directly to the trespassing tom. Bearpaw was surprisingly calm. So, you are here just because you have the power to walk over onto our land? That doesn't seem like a very good reason to break the warrior code and come onto another clan's territory. Are you sure you aren't here for another reason?

Blackpaw looked at Bearpaw, trying to mimic his calm demeaner. She lifted her nose haughtily. "That's right." she mewed, supporting her Clan mate. "You shouldn't be here!"
ooc: BLAH! Bad post.

Rage rolled off of Farpaw in waves. Who did this cat think he was, wandering onto their territory like it was no big deal. Did no cats have a sense of the Warrior Code these days. Rolling his eyes, Farpaw stood up taller, though he was a pretty small cat for his age. Oh how he wanted to dig his claws into that cat's fur. His pelt bristled in anticipation of a battle.
Just as he was about to lunge for the careless RiverClanner, Farpaw heard the voice of his brother, telling him to calm down. He held back the urge to glare at Bearpaw before obeying. His neck fur flattened, though he kept his claws sheathed for safety. Farpaw shot Bearpaw a sideways glance, his eyes questioning. Were they just gonna let this river-rat sit there on their territory?

((Sorry I didn't post for so long. Mind if Wolvie jumps back in?))
Wolverine had caught the scent of a rabbit, but it had taken off before he had a chance to lunge. He chased it, and managed to catch it just before it disappeared down his hole. He turned back to where he left the apprentices. A new scent filled the air. Riverclan. He dropped the rabbit and ran. He leaped into the clearing, taking in the situation. Another apprentice had joined them. Couldn't remember his name. The scent of Riverclan drew his eyes to the top of a tree. Another apprentice sat there. Good. Only an apprentice. Why did he have to get stuck with it? Whenever he tried to be nice and help the apprentices out, something like this happens. He laid his ears back. "Would someone like to tell me what's going on?"

Blackapw whipped around and barreled into Wolverineclaw. She jumped up so she was nose to nose with the warrior and started to explain in an excited, high-pitched mew.
"This mean RiverClan cat crossed our border as if it wasn't there! Now he's being a mouse-brain and saying stupid stuff and making fun of us!"
The little black cat's tail lashed with fury and her gold eyes blazed. She may not have been ready for battle-not even with only an apprentice- but her temper was quite ready.

Firepaw
''Great Starclan this is harder then I thought; I was hopping to send those two kit-for apprentices running back to Thunderclan by now" Firepaw's amber eyes glanced down at Bearpaw, Bearpaw had been at Firepaw's first gathering. It was good to see a face Firepaw already knew. "Bearpaw; haven't seen you in a while! What are you doing hanging around with these two weaklings?" Firepaw asked, acting allot nicer to Bearpaw then to the two other apprentices. "The reasons for why I am here are for me and me alone, I can not even share the information I hold with Dragonstar"
Firepaw winced at the sight of the warrior returning, it made Firepaw angry to see that Thunderclan worked together more then Riverclan. Plus Firepaw wasn't in the mood for being chased off then having to come back at moon high. Firepaw tried to remember who this tom was, Firepaw saw him at a gathering once didn't he? Firepaw couldn't help but purr at the warrior's words. Even the thinest kit knew about the warrior code; Firepaw knew it when he was a rouge. "Please, if I didn't know it I wouldn't be up in a tree now would I"

"Call me a weakling to my face, fox-dung!" Farpaw hissed, his pelt bristling. "Better yet, come on down and fight like the little kit you are." Clearly, Farpaw had problems with being aggravated. Especially by RiverClan. His golden amber eyes narrowed. This apprentice thought he was so much better then them. Farpaw was surprised, however, to see him trying to make small talk with his brother. Again Farpaw shot Bearpaw a glance. How did he know this annoying river-rat?
"If you knew the Warrior Code, you wouldn't have talked to a warrior like that," Farpaw growled, snarling up at Firepaw as Wolverineclaw stepped into the scene. His tail lashed, his claws digging into the dirt.

Blackpaw looked up at Firepaw, her gold eyes wide. How could the RiverClan appretice talk to a warrior that way? He must be very stupid. And calling Farpaw and her weaklings on top of it all! Tail twitching, the little apprentice padded over to Farpaw. She lifted her muzzle to his ear and whispered softly. "What do you say we scare the fur off this mouse-brain? Let's climb up the tree and chase him out!"

Wolverine sighed and sat down, tail wrapped around his paws. "That's the problem with apprentices these days. They don't understand respect." He eyed Firepaw. "Come out of the tree right now, and get your tail over the border."

ooc: This is getting us no where. Let's add a little excitement.
When Farpaw didn't answer her, Blackpaw decided to take things into her own paws. While Wolverineclaw was talking to Firepaw, the little apprentice slipped behind the ThunderClan cats. No one noticed her trot off and skirt around to the other side of the tree. Blackpaw bounced over and put her forepaws on the trunk. Her gold gaze followed it up and up and up. It was tall, wasn't it? Blackpaw had never climbed a tree before, but she wasn't going to let this RiverClan mouse-brain mock ThunderClanners in thier own territory. Blackpaw kicked up with her back legs, launching herself up the tree. Her claws reacted immediatly, gripping the bark. Proud of herself for this new-found ability, Blackpaw scurried up the tree as nimbly as a squirrel. When she came to the branches above Firepaw's head, the little apprentice scooted along until she was directly above him. Looking down, Blackpaw felt as if she was nearly in the sky. She let out a nervous squeak, but she would not back down. She positioned herself to jump down on top of Firepaw. That would surprise him. It would probobly get her hurt too, but what did that matter when you were serving your Clan? Blackpaw had not so much as rolled her shoulders when a resounding crack split through the meows of the other cats. Her eyes widened farther than ever before, but before she could yowl her terror, the branch broke and sagged. It did not break, not yet, but it hung dangerously from a few old splinters. Blackpaw's scream could have reached the moonstone. "Help!"

Farpaw could feel his claws digging into the ground at the thought of attacking the RiverClanner then and there. But the other cats' words stuck in his mind, telling him to just stay put. His mind ablaze with his options, he didn't notice Blackpaw move away from his side. Instead he looked over at Bearpaw. Farpaw's eyes narrowed. His brother had been oddly quiet for most of the time. Was something wrong? Farpaw didn't get a chance to ponder his thoughts, however, as a loud scream ripped through the air.
"Help!"
His head whipped around, eyes growing wide as he saw Blackpaw dangling on the tree branch. The branch would break in moments if no one grabbed her, and a height from that fall could do serious damage! What was he supposed to do? Being a small cat, Farpaw was lighter then average for his age. Would he be able to reach Blackpaw before she fell? His mind was racing. Farpaw wouldn't be able to bear letting another cat down. Quick as a flash, Farpaw raced toward and up the tree, ignoring the splinters that dug into his paws.
He sighed, looking up. Why did Blackpaw have to be so high up? Quickly he began to climb again, feeling his claws scrape against the bark as he did so. In moments he was next to the branch Blackpaw was on. Farpaw reached forward, trying to grab her scruff but slipping in the process. He quickly unsheathed his claws again, digging them into the bark like a lifeline. Looking back at Blackpaw, he realized the only way he'd be able to grab her was if she moved over as well.

Blackpaw wimpered and let out another wail before she realized Farpaw was there. In a panic, she tried to scrabble toward him. "Farpaw!" she gasped. "Farpaw, I'm going to fall! Don't let me fall!" Her claws grasped the firm part of the branch just before the broken part gave way. The apprentice's back end swung down with nothing to support her. She let out another terrified cry and kicked her back paws in an attempt to get back up the tree. Her claws slipped dangerously. "Farpaw!"

Firepaw
Firepaw stared down at the apprentices and warriors. Firepaw couldn't go on acting like he could beat them, he was a great warrior. He used to climb trees all the time just to improve his muscles. Yet there was only one of him, "Looks like Waterpaw will have. Man, this bites. Now the whole clan is going to know I went onto Thunderclan borders. I wounder how Dragonstar would look at me, he would be so disappointed in me- AH! and Featherpaw!! She would claw my ears off!!" Firepaw mumbled to himself.
"Help"
Firepaw has been so worried about what would happen to him that he didn't notice that Blackpaw dangled from a branch above him and when Farpaw came to save her he fell as well. "Great Starclan, Don't hurt yourselves" he yowled at Blackpaw and Farpaw. Firepaw jumped up higher onto the branch and grabbed the cat nearest to him. Farpaw, Blackpaw grabbed her scruff and pulled the young she-cat up; "Wait here" he commanded as he jumped to the other branch to help Farpaw.
Firepaw was a great climber from his training to become a warrior. It was also in his nature; his grandmother Moonstar had also been a great jumper thanks to her ancestry. "Are both of you guys ratbitten or something!" hissed Firepaw.

Blackpaw clung to the branch were Firepaw had left her, panting heavily. Her eyes were stretched to thier limit and her tail was puffed out so much, she could have been a long hair. She felt parched and wild. Her claws were ready to strike anything. The little apprentice watched the red RiverClanner help Farpaw and briefly wondered if the apprentice would appreciate it. "Farpaw," she squeaked. Then she looked down at Wolverineclaw and Bearpaw. "No, I want down! Wolverineclaw, help me!"

Blackpaw
Blackpaw looked at the warrior as if he were crazy with her wide, gold eyes. She shook her head wildly.
"I'm not moving!" she wailed. "It's scary!"
Stubbornly, she shut her eyes tight and shuddered on the tree branch.
"I won't move! I'll fall if I move!"

Being surprised that Firepaw helped them both didn't mean that Farpaw was not grateful. Soon the three of them stood on the branch. Breathing heavilly the young tabby tom nodded in thanks to the RiverClanner. As soon as he caught his breath, he mewed, "Thanks." Then, for the first time, Farpaw looked down. He felt his breath once again catch in his throat. It was a long fall. Farpaw felt his paws begin to prickle anxiously. They'd clearly have to be careful.
Once Wolverineclaw arrived on the branch, things started to go more smoothly. Even though he was frightened, Farpaw was glad to have a warrior there. His eyes grew wide as Blackpaw refused to walk to the warrior though. He shot her a comforting glance before mewing, "It'll be ok, we'll be right behind you." His voice was a bit hesitant, for he remembered saying similar words to Ivypaw.

Blackpaw
Blackpaw looked up at Farpaw. She shivered with fright, but her Clan mates encouraging meow comforted her. She swallowed bile and glanced down. She gave another nervous squeak and looked back up at the brown tabby. Blackpaw gave a quick glance to Firepaw before mewing,
"Promise?" she blinked her gold eyes fearfully. "You'll help me? Catch me if I fall?"
