Plot Background:
I Spy With My Little Eye»»
A curious young she-cat by the name of Coraline is taken in from the streets, sheltered by a sweet but boring elder two-leg. Though she is happy that she doesn't have to eat from the trash cans anymore, Coraline is bored with her new life. The old two-leg, who she hesitantly calls Ma, has other cats in the household. The old tom who prefers to stay in the attic is known as Mr. B; not to mention his odd fetish with his "mouse circus" and the cheese he steals from the kitchen to give to his entertainers. The two elderly, batty faes that dwell in the basement collect 80-year-old British taffy and participate in fortune-telling activities; they are known as Ms. Spink and Ms. Forcible.
Boredom=Disaster»»
After a few boring weeks of drinking stagnant water out of her bowl and staring at the wall, Coraline meets a tom-cat by the name of Wybie. He tells her of how his grandmother's littermate used to live in the old house. He said it was odd that Ma would allow a kit to live there.
" Why is that? " Coraline asks, her head tilting to the side in genuine curiosity.
" Ooh, I'm not supposed to talk about it. "
I Never Did Like Dolls»»
Affectionately, he gives her a small cat doll he had found in his grandmother's belongings. The shoddy doll, filled with sawdust, completely reseambles Coraline all up to the tiny little "freckles" on her muzzle. One night, as Coraline's dreaming, she wakes up to find a jumping mouse waiting at the foot of her bed. Its feathery whiskers twitching, it hops away, looking over its shoulder as if it wants Coraline to follow. Captivated with curiousity, the she-cat follows it until she finds a small door. The door is too small for an adult cat to go through, but small enough for a kit to crawl through.
Completely baffled by her find, Coraline crawls through, suddenly finding herself in a world much like--but completely different--than her own world. It has all of the characteristics of her drab life, but everything is better. The colors are brighter; the characters are more enigmatic and enjoyable; the toys talk back; the food is better than the crap she usually eats; even the chatter-box Wybie can't talk!!
A Shattered Dream»»
For a while, Coraline visits the Other World in her dreams, waking up disappointed due to the fact that she returns to her normal life. Everything seems perfect until she goes back and meets the Cat, an odd tom with a pelt the color of the night sky and eyes as cold and clear as ice. He tells her of how the Other Mother isn't who she seems to be; but, instead, she is a cruel and evil tyrant. Coraline writes off his warning as a lunatic's ramblings and continues to visit her Other Parents. The Other Mother (whom she seems to prefer the most) fascinates her with amazing gifts and marvels such as a beautiful garden with melodic hummingbirds; a lovely stage show put on by Ms. Spink and Ms. Forcible; and not to mention the amazing mouse circus performed by Mr. B and his jumping mice.

Plot Idea:
So, here's the compressed version of the story (though its still long XD ):
Coraline lives in an old house with (basically) a bunch of nut-jobs. Bored and angry, she meets a tom by the name of Wybie, whom warns her about its "dark and dangerous past." He gives her a doll, which is supposed to be how the Other Mother sees how Coraline is upset with her life--so that she can make it much more appealing in the Other World. (But Wybie nor Coraline know this. Wybie is smitten and wants to impress her.)
So, one night, Coraline wakes up to find a jumping mouse that is supposedly in Mr. B's circus. She follows it, her curious nature sparked and roaring. The mouse leads her to a small door where it crawls through and she pursues, traveling through a short--but beautiful and trippin'--tunnel that leads her into the Other World. At first, Coraline thinks she somehow turned around in the tunnel and went back out into her world, but when she finally meets her "missing parents," she knows that she's not back home. The Other Mother and Other Father are everything she's ever wanted: parents who love her and bend to her every whim. They feed her delicious fresh-kill, they sing lovely songs to her, and they even play games until midnight (way past her bedtime.)

Other:
!!!Okay, to start off with my little rant. . .
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THIS PLOT!!
Or you will crush a little girl's dreams and hopes. . . ( /puppy dog eyes )
Here's goes. So, the whole part with Wybie can be written out (because he wasn't a part of the book, but the movie.) But it would be much more interesting to have the weird, dorky tom in it, don't you think? If nobody signs up for him, I'll take him!! Because he's so adorable
To those that want to play Mr. B, Ms. Spink, or Ms. Forcible; you will not need to create extra bios for their "Other" counterparts. They are the same people but with their personalitites changed to please Coraline. (Evil Other Mother!! Evil Other Mother!! She sews Wybie's mouth shut!! ( /kills ) ) RAAAARR!!
Unfinished (^ I honestly don't know what just happened. . .X3 )[/blockquote][/blockquote]
