-> I realize the site is a little quiet lately, the members are quiet, even I'm quiet. This really needs to change, so let's get to talking!

so, here are some things that ARE happening in the near future;
- new skin
- sideboards! [maybe]
- contests!
- and whatever else the members would like =D

1. What would you like to see done with the site?

2. Would you like to help the site? If so, how?

3. What do you think is the sites biggest problem?

4. How do you think we should fix this?


of course, i just went out on a whim when i posted this, but Fernstar and i have been talking quite a bit about spicing up the site, and i thought we should get the opinions of the members, and suggestions, that way us leaders know what to do :'D

I was wondering if I could actually get a helpful position? After all, I know this site like the back of my hand and my activity (note: perhaps not my posting, but my siging on) has dramatically increased. As may have been noticed (hint: Yesses of the Wierd) I'm tyring to atleast wake me up by making the site just fun to be wierd on.

So my question/suggestion is, could I play a lead role in the contests? I would take it seriously and keep it up to date.

Secondly, I really think we need more things on here that are just fun. Lets face it, we're getting old, and if we really want this site to continue, we need younger kids with time on their hands. But we're much too professional. We need appealing things like randomness and games besides amazing plots.

That's my bit.

Okay, sooooo here's my lovely words of wisdom. . . opinion. Let's start with numero uno, shall me?

•First, I believe our problem with this site is that we don't have enough active members. The same people get on every other day and it's a very limited amount. (I'm guessing around 10.) That's not going to keep this site alive. I believe we need to hold another advertising contest soon. That would bump up activity and members.

•This is sort of connected to the other thing, but I think we need to have a welcoming committee. No joke. If we were to get new members who logged on and didn't have a clue as to what to do, they will probably just let their account rot and get some nasty green gunk on it =P. And that's just gross! XD

•Gathering--We haven't had a Gathering in forever. And those usually stir up some muse and fun. Besides, I can't remember the last one we had. XP wasn't it, like, two years ago?

•Music videos--Everybody likes Youtube, right? I don't know about you guys, but I like to see good Warriors videos on there, too. Now I know SSS Warriors Cats have their own forum; and baby, business is booming for them. If I could find another two or three people who are good at animating, then by golly, I think we might be able to have a mini-series or a thread of AMV's. Right now, I'm working on one for the site using MS Paint (but it sucks!!) and the song "Nothing I Won't Give" by Vic Mignogna.

•Animations--Now when I say this, I don't mean videos. I think we should assign somebody to make animated avatars for the staff featuring their favorite character. That way, if a staff member were to fall inactive, other members would work really hard to get that position (and a radical avvie!!) Furthermore, that would increase activity!!

•New plot--Let's face it, the one that we planned on doing was. . . Mrrrph, fail. It seemed great at first, but nobody really had any muse for the nomads. (I know it hurt just to do a paragraph for Slade.) So I think we should think of a really unique and awesome plot that would make new members go "Ooooooh!"
