Bluekit

A bountiful kit bounded over to the river. She heard the waves crash, but had never seen it before, because, unlike Hardkit, she wasn't the kind of kit to leave camp to explore. But one day, Hardkit, Bluekit's sister, had visited the river. Hardkit had described it as so:

As Hardkit snuck into the nursrey, she had an amazed look in her eye.

Hardkit:: I visited the most beautiful place in the world today...
Bluekit:: You snuck out again! Well, I guess I should ask you anyway, since you are going to tell me anyway, Where'd you go.
Hardkit:: Well I visited the river!
Bluekit:: The river! What was it like?
Hardkit:: Well, the water went on for a long time. In length I mean! And it made a beautiful swishing noise, as the blueish waves, the color of your own pelt, crashed onto the shorelines. SHells covered the muddied brooks and... the wind smelled like a unuasal scent. Oh, Bluey, you should of seen it. It was so romantic, and beautiful.

So Bluekit decided to visit the 'beautiful' river. It turned out when she asked a warrior, and it was the RiverClan border. 'I wonder if I will meet any RiverClan cats...' She wondered in her mind, and looked around eargerly.

Firekit had also sneaked out of camp, but not to see the river.He wanted some adventure in his live and was bored of being locked up with his brother all day long.Firekit ears twitched as he caught the sound of rushing water,I wonder if I will find some Thunderclan cats, he thought as he got closer and closer to the river.
When he finialy got to the river, the first thing he noticed was how many fish were floating around in the light river.Firekit smiled and stuck his paw into the water.Of corse he didn't catch anything but it was fun to try.Suddenly the sent of Thunderclan hit his nose, Firekit lifted his head to see a Thunderclan kit looking around the River,he disided to ignor that cat and he bent down his head again to lap up some water.

Bluekit noticed a river clan kit. Acting fearlessly, she mewed, getting closer so that the tom could hear her voice over the loud impulse of the greyish river she mewed, "I gotta a question. Even though every kit knows the warrior code forbids cats from leaving camp, how many actually listened?" She chortled, actually as if she had snuck out before. Bluekit wasn't aware if the other kit had actually heard her, but she wished her tail with ignorance as she waited for a reply from the other kit. 'I wonder if Hardkit had ever met a RiverClan cat!?' Even though Bluekit appeared quite a goody goody, she was pretty fearless. THe only thing that scared her was getting in trouble, and a few other things.

Firekit glanced up at Bluekit, his eyes were as cold as fallen snow."Very few listen, yet those few will one day become the greatest of all warriors" Firekit said as he looked at the blue colored kit.Firekit's flamey pelt shone brightly as the light shone down onto him,Firekit couldn't help but like the pretty cat, then again many she-cats were pretty yet only a pawfull of them would listen to the Warrior code.Firekit glanced back down at his reflection and let out a long sigh.

Ataken back by the toms answer and his peircing gaze, she became fiesty, her eyes changed from soft blue to a color of venom. "Well, if you were a leader, who would have as your deputy; a dirty, two timin', rule-breakin' warrior, or a loyal warrior with the skills to listen. Few know this, but, the most powerful cat is always the one to listen, while the others may be strong, listeners rule all. Brownstar is an example. She may not be the most powerful leader in the world, but she had the wits to think before she acts. She contuined to flare, her eyes stayed sharp, and her heart pace grew fast, but inside, she was really calm.

Icekit stalked the undergrowth, his rival Firekit was talking to another kit, something about kits sneaking out of camp. "Humph...I have no mother to fuss at me so no one really cares wheter I sneak out or not." Icekit said to himself. Icekit puffed out his chest and strode out from the undergrowth. "So the almighty Firekit disobeys orders to eh?" Icekit said confidently. Though he knew grateing Firekit would make Hazelkit mad.

Firekit didn't know what to say to the Blue kit, he really wanted to throw back a sharp comment but he couldn't.Firekit looked up at the blue kit and let out a purr of amusement.Firekit didn't know why he liked this cat so much, the only thing he did know was this cat was standing up for her clan- sorta."I am Firekit" meowed then the sent of Icekit made Firekit's heart sink.He was starting to like this cat and of course Icekit would come to ruin it,"I wouldn't say anything Icekit, you disobey orders too.Plus you disobey orders just to make me in trouble- that is pretty pathedic"

Bluekit nodded over to the Firekit, the bloody red pelted tom. Then a new cat entered their conversation, which made Bluekit angry, and she had a temper. Sitting unpatiently on the other side of te bank, her tail wrapped around her paws. She didn't know wether to cross the border, or to just stay. "Hey, Firekit? Who might this uncharming tom be?" She mewed her voice soft. "Oh, if you didn't know, my name is Bluekit!" She yelled loudly.

Icekit looked at Bluekit with a smug satisfaction. "I'm Icekit, And I've got no quarrel with you Bluekit." Icekit changed his glance to Firekit. "And yes I disobey orders, I just thought to amuseing that the high and mighty Firekit who is supposed to be so great cause Blackthorn says so is out and about." Icekit padded down to Bluekit and Firekit. "But I have no famous mother or even a mother at all, so Firekit tends to look down on me."

Firekit flinched at the name Blackthorn.Recently Blackthorn's body was found by the river were Firekit's dad had died, his lovely mother was gone forever, by now Firekit was over it...but sometimes her wishes he still had his mother with him.Firekit closed his eyes and let out a long sigh,"All the kits in the nursery have different strenth, yet none of them are better then another.So why do you find me so high and might when I am exactly the same as you?" meowed Firekit in a cool voice.Firekit opened his eye and turned his stare to Bluekit,"Bluekit- that name fits you well" he meowed joyously.

Icekit stared in strange look. "I remember how she poked fun at me when we first met. And how she said you were destined for great things. She made it out like your whole life was already planned out." Icekit stiffened. "That day she wanted to make sure I would think you were better then me. That we won't born equal." Icekit was angered, and wished Hazelkit was nearby.

Hazlekit walked in her head ben down, her eyes looking at the floor as she walked in silently. She looked around at the other kits and saw Icekit, she gave a very small smile and past him, her fur brushing lightly with his and headed straight forward to her nest and collasped in her nest immedately. Hazlekit kept her eyes on her paws, and let out a sigh long an heavy, something just lingered in her mind bothering and torchering her slowly.

Icekit took his eyes off Firekit, and looked at Hazelkit. "I'm sorry Hazelkit...I started that..." He said letting her pleaseing scent calm him down.

Hazelkit looked up at icekit, "Huh?, what did you start icekit?" she mewed and cocked her head to the side. She laid her head on her paws and let out another long sigh, "Whatever you did Icekit, I don't think it was bad, you probably had a point that you wanted to prove" she mewed and smiled at firekit and bluekit, and rested her eyes on icekit and gave a friendly smile towards him. Hazelkit curled her tail up and rested it on her shoulder.

Icekit plopped down beside Hazelkit. "Yeah your right." Icekit said. "You seem tired Hazelkit, whats the matter?"

"I'm worried about my sister Gignerkit, she's been in the medicine cat's den for a long time, and...well...she's been...umm...seeing someone from another clan" she mewed and looked at icekit, "It wears me out" she mewed and licked icekit between the ears and let out a soft purr.

Icekit strecthed and yawned. "You know though if Gingerkit wants to do that then thats her bussiness, you can't guide the paws of another cat." Icekit said bumping his head against Hazelkit's. "After all we are still kits, and when Dragonheart comes back maybe we will be apprentices and then we will get to plung head first into a whirling battle!" Icekit said grinning at the prospect of fighting.

"Your right...it's her decision" she mewed and licked icekit's cheek. She let out the a loud happy purr, thinking of becoming apprentices, how wonderful, she thought.

Bluekit moved a little more torwards the border, deciding to make small talk with Firekit since Icekit, and Hazelkit in their own little world. "Hey, so Firekit, I know this is kinda a random question, but do you have any heritage from a different clan? I don't know why I ask it," the greish kit mewed half heartdly, "But I really never... knew... my dam nor my father." Bluekit had to spit the last part of the sentence out, becuase, she hated talking her family, because she didn't know who her mother, or father was. It was only the three siblings, Tumblekit, Hardkit, and herself.

"Well, My mother was a cat from Shadowclan...kidnapped and raised by rouges, and my father was a Riverclan cat.Later on my mother joined Riverclan but thats not important,My kin are Earthkit-Riverclan,Icekit-Riverclan, and Waterkit-Thunderclan"Firekit explained,"I have a pretty messed up family" he purred

Bluekit shook her head. Tears were about ready to spill out but she held them back. "You know, my mother abondoned us as kits. We were forced to live by ourselfs for the first day of outr lifes, until Brownstar, the ThunderClan leader, rescued us. And by us I mean Tumblekit, my mbrother, who lives in ThunderClan, and Hardkit, my sister, who also lives in ThunderClan. I don't kanyone esle, but I guess the past is the past, and history can't be rewritten. That's why I never say what if, because I know it's a terrible thing to dream." She mewed, her blue eyes focused on her blueish paws.

Firekit stared at the pittiful kit,he also had a dream that he would one day return to the rouges."Bluekit, I am sorry" he said softly.The strange thing about it was ,Firekit saying sorry was like hedgehogs flying and he even surprised himself when the words slipped out of his mouth,"I really am-"

Bluekit smiled at him kindly. "You're sweet... but there's really no need to apolgize." She hated when people take the blame for her mother's fault. Bluekit really hateed it. Smiling she mewed, "So... do you have any friends back at RiverClan? I mean not to get into your personal life or anything... but I'm just wonderin'... oh I'll shut up now." She smiled agian, her blue eyes gleamed at him.

Hazlekit looked up, "Firekit you don't have a messed up life..."she trailed off, "My mother tried to kill herself when she was pregnant with me and my sisters, I would of killed for your mother" she mewed softly and got up out of her moss bed.

Firekit flicked his tail at Hazelkit, he really didnm't care what she thought at the moment."I don't have many friends.I was trained as a rouge before I came here...So many kits dislike me."Firekit eyed Icekit hinting that ICekit was one of Firekit's many haters."Sometimes I think I am pretty much all alone... In RIverclan.Besides my Brother everyone seems to hate me now"

"I don't hate you...I've never hated you" she mewed and looked at him, her eyes looking at firekit questioningly, "I don't think anyone should hate you firekit" she mewed looking at him now intently, she flicked her tail with impatience, "More than anything I should be the hated one...."she mewed and glared outside the nursery.

Bluekit smiled with a wide toothy grin. "Not everyone hates you, Firekit!" She would of givin' Firekit an assuring lick... if they weren't from different clans. Her bluish pelt smoothed as the a cload floated out of the sun's pathway and the sun's rays baked down onto te ground. She looked up only to be shocked by the sudden light that came.

Firekit looked down at his paws, he was happy that two cats liked him.Yet were hey telling the truth? Firekit winsed at the light as it shoned down as suddenly as a streak of lightning.Firekit slowly stood up,"I-I got to go" he said and bowed his head"I hope to see you again Bluekit..." then he ran off.

"I hope to Starclan it doesn't rain." Icekit sighed. "Come on let's get back."
