Magmakit pushed his small shoulders through the tall grass to end up in the clearing, mosquitoes buzzing around his ears. He flicked his ears annoyingly and quickly darted over the ground and sit on a rock, his pelt like flames in the merciless sun. Water had soaked his soil-colored paws turning black. Magmakit sniffed the air, tasting Dawnkit, Cavernkit, and Fragmentpaw following him in the stiff air. Sweat was already strong in the air and his nose wrinkled at the sick scent of it. Oh, how he disliked Greenleaf. The worst season ever.
As the others entered the clearing he rose his voice only a fraction of a volume so that they could hear him. "Now it is time to tell you of what is to happen. You too, Fragmentpaw."

Fragmentpaw

The blazing sun pounded agents the swamps of Shadow. The Land of Shadow along with the lands of Wind, River, and Thunder where ablaze with heat. Greenleaf was the hottest season in these parts like in many parts; yet in the swamp the sun seemed to make everything slower. The sky was a flare with heat waves and the humidity of the swamp made it hard to breath. Everything was effected by the sun, everything.

Fragmentpaw bounded up next to Magmakit; panting softly. Fragmentpaw was glad it was warmer but she couldn't help but wish for the cold showers that where brought by last Season. (i forgot what spring is called =D). She stared down at the small kits; not sure what he was talking about. "What?"

(Spring is Newleaf) Cavernkit hissed as coarse bushes scraped his wide shoulders as he thrust his way out of the thick underbrush. Like Magmakit, he hated Greenleaf because of his thick pelt. At least his siblings had short fur, not having to suffer the feeling of his fur sticking to his skin, soaked with sweat or clogged with dirt. Cavernkit had to constantly groom to look even close to decent. In two moons, they were going to be apprentices. Oh, how exciting this all was! Cavernkit made a vow to himself that he would be the best apprentice there ever will be. He was going to be the strongest warrior there ever was, kittypet and ThunderClan or not, he was going to prove he could take any enemy.
"Now it is time to tell you of what is to happen. You too, Fragmentpaw."
Cavernkit could feel the muscles on his face tighten and work to pull his black lips back to reveal his long fangs. In a way, Cavernkit resembled a saber-tooth cat and a wolf. "Hmph. Come on, Dawnkit. Let's go listen to him annoy us." He laid his tail across his sister's shoulders and led her to Magmakit, anger boiling under his fur.[/shadow]

Magmakit
Magmakit sighed and lifted his face to the sun, his orange eyes turning into two flaming coals. That was the thing that was odd about his facial features, his eyes were bright citrus orange, a nondominant trait from his mother's mother. But now Fragmentpaw was their mother, part one of the prophecy. "Wait for them," he whispered. His voice ancient sounding and dry.[/shadow]

Dawnkit felt Cavernkit's tail brush against her. She allowed him to lead her to Magmakit. "What is it, brother?" She sweeped the ground with her tail and sat down on a dry spot. It was hard to breath in the thick, humid air.

Cavernkit snorted in disgust as everyone turned their attention to his know-it-all brother. Oh, how he loathed him! He never trained, and yet the orange tom's muscles seemed to become more defined each day! And how he had everyone eating out of the palm of his paws. Except one who saw his facade: Cavernkit himself. He saw right through that "I know all! Listen to me while I speak StarClan's words!" and right down to what coward he was. Cavernkit leaned closer to Dawnkit and whispered in her ear. "Don't tell me you're going to listen to this phoney crap?"[/shadow]

Magmakit's eyes glowed as he looked down upon his siblings and adopted mother. It was perfect. The peices falling into their places. The prophecy was about to come true! He just needed some more of the variables and it would all be true! Such power to dream of! Seeing things others couldn't, that was what power he wished to obtain.
"I am to tell you a prophecy that was conceived during our birth. A prophecy that tells of darkness and the power of StarClan and three of four bloods being tested!"
