Sleeppaw didn't know what to do after the talk with Demonheart. He was trying to figure out what had all happened in the last couple of hours. He decided to walk the long, lonesome path to Fourtrees, he and his beloveds most secretive spot to meet. He thought that if he and eclipsepaw were to be together forever, then that she would come for him here. He prayed to Starclan, hoping that someone will come to help him.Bring her here please. Anyone will do. I need either her or someonewho can give some advice...

Firepaw walked silently by the river that ran through the border of Thunder and River. Firepaw's dark red pelt shone like a fire; his amber eyes glowing like the sun. It was strange how happy he was. Both his mother and father committed suicide, he hadn't talked to his sister Icepaw in over a moon, his brother Earthpaw was blind, his sister Waterkit ran away to Thunderclan. Things in his life were a mess; yet he was the happiest cat in the world. Many cats would be sad and depressed; broken, hurt, gone. They would want to leave, to kill, to die; yet Firepaw had a secret weapon to fight of these feelings. It was his feelings toward his beloved, Featherpaw.

Featherpaw was a beautiful she-cat; she looked as if she should be a goddess from Starclan. She had a beautiful pelt. Her silver pelt was like that of Starclan. Her strange lavender eyes shone like the moon. Her graceful figure; beautiful long legs. How gorgeous was she. Firepaw couldn't believe how long he had lived without her. Soon he found himself near fourtrees. A sad looking grey tom was walking alone; the sent of Thunderclan made Firepaw shiver. Yet Firepaw was in to good of a mood to leave his poor kitty alove; "Well, well, well; it seems like Thunderclan is in worst shape then I thought-" he let out a small humph, "all the cats I meet from there seem to be depressed". That was Firepaw for you; pelt like fire- mouth like steal. Firepaw's voice was a bit deep; his voice was sharp. Yet serious. He didn't let one emotion ring through his perfect mask.

Angered flared in Sleeppaw's eyes.Sleeppaw thought to himself. Why did Starclan send a Riverclan cat to help! Especially the loud mouth Firepaw."What do you want, Firepaw. I'm in no mood to talk to Riverclan. Only Thunderclan and Windclan."Sleeppaw said in his most depressing voice. The light around Firepaw shone ever so brightly, almost as if Starclan had sent him. " So are you the one Starclan sent to help me then?Are you the one that's suppose to help me with my problems? or add to them?"[/color]

Firepaw's dark amber eyes stared deep into Sleeppaw's blue ones. Firepaw was a cat not to be messed with; not only was he once a rouge yet he also had a fiery temper that was usually unleash with fangs and claws. Silently Firepaw treaded closer to Sleeppaw. His amber eyes blank; just like they were before. "I am guessing that you are a new apprentice; just a few moons out of the nursery, you have no mentor yet, and you are having love problems. Correct?" Firepaw was very good at these guessing games, not only that but he had herd this story many, many times. Even his cousin Shard had the same story. Of corse hers was much more bloody.

Sleeppaw started to feel very uncomfortable and Firepaw edged closer to him. Firepaw has a reputation of using tooth and claw to settle disputes, and Sleeppaw was in no condition to do so."Nice guess...Ok then....here's my love problem. I am in love with Eclipsepaw, a Windclan medicine cat apprentice, formerly a Thunderclan apprentice. The past few moons...basically ever since she left, we have been meeting each other randomly and on purpose. Then I said the wrong the thing at the wrong time. I said that 'I loved her', which Eclipsepaw, being very soft and fearful of most things, bolted out on me towards the Windclan border. I chased her until her father, Demonheart, caught me. We talked and he said we should never see each other again, but I don't that I'll stop. I'll find a way to be with Eclipsepaw."As Sleeppaw finished his speech, he walked over to a puddle of water to drink, because his throat was very dry now, then he resumed,"So what can I do, Firepaw?[/color]

Firepaw silently cursed that he was becoming the mental hotline of the forest. Firepaw was never a social cat; even when he was playing with the other kits in the nursery. His mentor was a strange cat also; having split personalities made it even harder to connect with her. The only one Firepaw ever connected with was his mother, Blackthorn. Yet, thats right Firepaw is a mama's boy- yet his mother killed herself a long time ago. Leaving Firepaw to take care of Waterpaw, Icepaw, and Earthpaw. In the end, only Earthpaw was left. Firepaw listen closely to the the grey cat's story. Allowing his brain to memories the story as if it was an old fairy tail.

"Great Starclan, a medicine cat? How messed up are you?" Firepaw hissed sharply. Yet he was impressed by Sleeppaw, how hard he worked for this Eclipsepaw. Even though she was a medicine cat apprentice. "Well, I have never been one for rules any way" he said under his breath. "Alright; first you should try to see if you feels the same way about you. You need to know if she is afraid of you, afraid of commitment, or afraid of disappointing Starclan" The dark red tom meowed.

Sleeppaw listened as Firepaw rebuked him at first, then actually gave really good advice. Is she afraid of me. No. Is she afraid of commitment. Maybe. Is she afraid of dissapointing Starclan. Yes. Does she feel the sameway about me....Yes, i'm sure" Ok, then Firepaw...next time I meet, IF I meet her ever again, I'll ask her those four questions. Even though I know the answer to some of them, I must know the real truth."So Sleeppaw wandered away into a shadow in the tree and awaited Eclipsepaw...[/color]

An hour pasted; by now the dark tom had left. Only the sounds of game and their hunters fill the clearing of the four trees. Mice scurried across the grassy forest floor; eyes of the hunters watched. Waiting for any last chance to attack. To feed itself; to feed it's family. The soft pounding of wings could be herd; as the blue birds flew to the ground. Pecking for seeds and food. The trees look so big; all four of them. They toward over even the tallest two-leg. Their mighty power and strength brought a strange sensation to any being who looked at them.

Eclipsepaw didn't know where her paws were taking her; all she knew was she wanted to get away. She had just had a long talk with her father and Badgersoul about- him. Badgersoul released her of her duties as a Medicine cat. This made Eclipsepaw just want to run; run away where no one would find her. This was all because of Sleeppaw; he told of her father everything! You would think she would be mad; yet she couldn't stay mad. It wasn't in her nature. Suddenly the sent of Sleeppaw made Eclipsepaw stop in her tracts. She turned to see the hansom tom in a shadow; his eyes looked so sad.

Sleeppaw was just abput to doze off as he caught the scent of Eclipsepaw. He stared up and saw her right there...looking at him with great compasssion. Sleeppaw slowly got up and walked over to Eclipsepaw. Sleeppaw looked into Eclipsepaw's eyes and wanted to say it all right there, just with a look, but he knew he would have to tell her himself." Hello, Eclipsepaw...I-I didn't actually think you would come."Sleeppaw didn't now what to say. He was too heart broken to even speak at all."Let me guess...your mad at me for telling your father everything and now you've been relieved of you medicine cat duties...I'm sorry."Sleeppaw started to slulk away towards the shadow again...[/color]

Eclipsepaw felt her legs quiver; she wanted to run. Run away; run back to her father. She wanted to be safe, wanted to be loved. She wanted to know everything would be ok, wanted to know that Starclan wasn't mad at her for breaking the warrior code. She needed to go- to run!! She had to!! I am tired of running. Eclipsepaw forced her legs to stop shaking; and steadied herself. She had to be brave, she had to. Or else she would loose not only her best friend, but the tom she loved.

Eclipsepaw let in a shaky breath, before walking closer to Sleeppaw. She opened her mouth to say something, anything to make him feel better. Yet not a sound came out. Eclipsepaw quickly nuzzled into his pelt; allowing his sent to take over her. Just feeling his warmth against her. "I-I-I am sorry" what else was there to say?

Sleeppaw was glad that Eclipsepaw forgave him for all the stuff that he did to her. Sleeppaw licked Eclipsepaw's ear to try to comfort her." Everything's going to be all right. Don't worry, my love. We'll make it through this. I bet you wanted to run back there. I'm so happy that you didn't. You're becoming a much braver cat you know." Sleeppaw decided to ask Eclipsepaw the same questions that Firepaw told him to ask." Eclipsepaw..there are some questions that I need to ask you.... First, do you feel the same as I do about us. Secondly, are you afraid of me. Thirdly, are you afraid of commitment. Lastly, are you afraid of dissappointing Starclan." Sleeppaw thought that this proabably that this probably wasn't the best time but he had to know.[/color]

"I-" Eclipsepaw didn't know what to say. Her heart beat faster; bitter tears stung at her eyes. Trying to break free. Yet she wouldn't let them, she didn't want to cry. She wanted to be strong, to be brave. Eclipsepaw thought for quite a while. Not knowing what to say to his questions; she didn't know. If she said yes, did that mean she would have to leave her father? Her father would be all alone; all her siblings still lived in Thunderclan. Eclipsepaw closed her big blue eyes; white dappled grey pelt shone like silver in the light that shone down from the sky. "I-I am afraid of... so many of are ancestors followed the code without regret. Who am I to break that code?" she said; her voice muffled from still nuzzling into Sleeppaw's pelt.

Sleeppaw felt Eclipsepaw's pain, but still didn't know how to handle it."Your father will understand, and I doubt that every ancestor followed the code by heart. If you can't stand breakign the code then....then you will have to come to Thunderclan. If not, we'll have to break the code." Sleeppaw was so disoriented right now. Too many things were happening at one time."We need to get away from here for while..just to settle down and talk to each other without all this pressure....We should walk to the Highstones and just stay there for a couple of days to relax."Sleeppaw knew that he and Eclipsepaw both needed some rest and to just forget about this." Do you want to?"[/color]

"Not Highstone; please", if breaking the warrior code wasn't bad enough. Going to Highstone, where leaders and medicine cats talked to Starclan, THEN breaking the warrior code. It didn't appeal to the little she-cat. Maybe they could run to the loner lands, yet that could get really dangerous really fast. Eclipsepaw looked up from where she was nuzzled into. Her blue eyes shinning with sadness, yet compassion for Sleeppaw. "Sleeppaw; where will we go?" she asked worriedly. Silently Eclipsepaw wished that this moment in time would never end. So she could stay with Sleeppaw forever.

Eclipsepaw didn't think she would be accepted back into Thunderclan. Brownstar was a strong, independent she-cat. Eclipsepaw wouldn't be of any use to her. Eclipsepaw let out another shaky sigh; steadying herself once more. "I can't leave Windclan" she whispered to herself.

Sleeppaw understood why Eclipsepaw didn't want to go to Highstones, because thats where we feel Starclan strongest. Sleeppaw sighed as he nuzzled his nose into Eclipsepaw's pelt. "We could maybe stay here..the Gathering isnt for another two days. that gives us plenty of time to just relax out here." Sleeppaw wanted to be with Eclipsepaw his whole life..but he couldn't think of a way to actually do that. He slightly heard Eclipsepaw say, I can't leave Windclan.Sleeppaw couldn't believe that he was saying this, but." Maybe.....Maybe I could leave Thunderclan and join Windclan."[/color]

"N-No I can't let you leave your clan just for me! I-I would feel horrible; you love your clan. Just like I love mine!" Eclipsepaw replied; she wanted to see Sleeppaw happy. She didn't want to see him leaving his clan for no other reason then a pathetic she-cat like her loved him. No! She would feel much better if she left Windclan. Eclipsepaw licked Sleeppaw's cheek before getting up and prancing a few fox tails away from him. Eclipsepaw purred softly to herself; feeling the fear and sadness that once devoured her soul disappear.

Eclipsepaw felt her old since of adventure take over her emotions; she wanted to run again. yet not alone, she wanted Sleeppaw beside her. "W-We could go to the Kittypet place! A-Across Thunderpath! W-w could live their for a f-few day!" she purred.
