tsunami. o romeo, romeo! wherefore art thou romeo? Tsunami's fur twitched as she padded briskly through the moors. It was another boring day, filled with disgusting snow . . . she was amazed that she had been able to actually enjoy playing in it for as long as she had yesterday, especially without catching cold. Her claws flexed, eyes rolling in frustration at the glittery crap. Why did she have to be so antsy and want to leave camp so much today? Why couldn’t her insane mood swings pick some other poor day to torture? She despised the snow today, even though yesterday she had practically lived in it. Her eyes slowly began to drift shut, then she popped them open when the scent of bark slammed against her nose and stopped just in time to prevent herself from hitting a tree. Stupid, good for nothing tree! Why does it have to be in WindClan’s territory, anyway? Blinking her dark blue eyes at it, her tail swished and she continued walking until she found herself in Fourtrees, alone and half-drowned in snow.
Surveying the territory at hand, she fluffed up her coat and shook the snow off of it. Naturally, her head was still covered, but she didn’t feel like shaking her eyes around when she didn’t really need to. Just wanted to. Sighing in annoyance, she bean to turn, then decided against it. Who knew how well the prey ran here in Fourtrees? Had anyone bothered trying to figure out if there even was any? It looked like she would be a first. Tsunami opened her mouth and scented the air. The wind was beginning to blow softly, causing the fur along her spine to stand on end. It tasted of ShadowClan. Growling at the revolting thought, she turned her eyes to their territory. The wind was blowing from there, and it was stinking up all of the small neutral area before here. ”Mouse dung. I won’t be able to hunt here after all, with those filthy intruders fouling up our own territory!”
Tsunami growled again and shook her head. Snow tumbled off her ears. Hissing in surprise, the apprentice jumped backward and stared at the gross stuff. Well . . . maybe it wasn’t that bad. Her paw scooped some up and brought it to her mouth. Sniffing it curiously, she licked it. It actually tasted okay. Snorting with disbelief, she dropped the pawful and bent her head, then continued to lick it. And she thought the Clan might die from thirst! This quenched every cat’s need, and the medicine cat— she shuddered at the thought— wouldn’t have to send some unlucky apprentice ( her! ) to get a ball of moss and soak it. Lapping up the snow as best she could, the veil in front of her eyes was lifted and she understood how fun snow could be. Falling off her paws and flipping over, her coat didn’t even feel how cold the snow was.
When the white substance got into her eyes, Tsunami knew that she had had enough. Standing and shaking herself, she realized that she had the weirdest sensation that she was being watched. Her eyes quickly turned over the entire clearing; then she crouched and hid as well she could. [/blockquote]

GhostpawTo be blind it to not see with your heartI'm not afraid to cry....
Mousedung! Snow piled high in front of the apprentice's den, blocking out the light of day. The wall of snow penetrated the thin wall near the entrance to the apprentices den. A low deep growl echoed from it's depths, it's owner angered that the snow dare enter his den, no, the apprentices den. The creamy Siamese apprentice flicked his ears back and looked back into the den, the pelts of his den mates rose and fell softly as their dreams took them far from the real world. He flicked his beautiful blue eyes to the snow and glared at it, I. Want. To. Go. Outside! With a small hiss Ghostpaw flung himself into the drift, sending snow flying into the den and around. He grunted angrily as the snow melted into his ears and traveled up his nose.
Snort. He shook his head back and forth trying to rid his nose of the annoying white fluff. He clawed towards the surface, trying desperately to free himself of the harsh white beast. The voices of the clan sounded muffled to his snow covered ears. Finally his right paw scraped something hard, something brown, The ground! With a heave he pushed himself towards the hard surface and wormed his way out of the drift, his pelt covered in snow and his ears were unnoticeable, his eyes and nose were rimmed in the strange, cold, white substance. He shook himself, as if trying to rid himself of water. I'm outta here!Turning the large Siamese tom cat darted towards the camp entrance before pausing and looking back. The apprentices den was the only one with a drift covering it, no other places had a large drift. Why not? He lashed his tail and turned around, bounding into the forest.
Soft paws pounded against the ground, skidding to a stop just as their owner tumbled into a rock. He had made it to fourtrees and managed to embarrass himself by running into a rock. "Ugh" He pulled himself onto his haunches and looked around, gazing at his trail in the snow, nice and smooth then the large sprawling mess of snow where he had fallen. He bowed his head and closed his eyes, flicking his ears backwards.

tsunami. deny thy father, and refuse thy name
Tsunami hissed when the ShadowClan cat finally came into view. She jumped out from her hiding place in the snow and landed only a tail-length away from him. ”What are you doing here?” She demanded, fur bristling. Her claws dug into the snow, leaving dark marks. Nausea passed over her suddenly, and she wobbled on her paws. Her eyes crossed as she stumbled and backed away, sitting then nearly falling backward. Closing her eyes as tightly as she could, she bent her head to lap up some more snow. What was wrong with her? She’d never felt so sick in her life! Automatically she forced herself to lay, remorse flooding through her veins. She should never had left camp. Her breathing quickened and she growled at the intruder, still feeling sick.
Hyperventilating by now, Tsunami fell over backward and lay on her back with the worst feelings in the world coursing through her stomach. Moonlight broke down through the trees, shining down on her and making her creamy belly glow. Why was she exposing her sick stomach to this ShadowClanner? He would more than likely attack and rip her open. Now that the cold was surrounding her, her head was beginning to clear and her eyes slowly drifted back open. She struggled to force herself to her paws, legs feeling as numb as jello. Whatever had overcome her was gone, but it still remained a mystery as to what had happened.
She kept low to the ground as she hissed out her words, not wanting to have to expose herself again. ”ShadowClan cats don’t belong in the forest. Go back to the mange-ridden nest that you call home. Why does ShadowClan even have to be a Clan? You’re so dirty, so filthy, so stinky—“ here, she wrinkled her nose— ”and the Clans have absolutely no use for you. Why do you even have kits? At least WindClan has a decent, nice scent, while you’re like foxes and badgers getting in a fight.” [/blockquote]

GhostpawTo be blind it to not see with your heartI'm not afraid to cry....
His creamy pelt seemed to stand out faintly against the white snow like a sore thumb. His tabby striped face had a look of distaste and sadness as he gazed at the spot he had fallen. I thought I learned better than this he thought bitterly. Then realizing that he was no longer in his home territory he perked his ears and parted his jaws to draw in the scent of Fourtrees. But it wasn't just Fourtrees anymore, a new, windblown wild scent entered his range. Flexing his claws Ghostpaw stood and pivoted to face his 'opponent'. ”What are you doing here?” He blinked in confusion, Who...no. Windclan. He swallowed and tried to answer, "I...sorry?" What was he supposed to say? This wasn't her territory.
Suddenly it seemed that something attacked her, she shuddered. He stepped forward, claws sheathed and heart racing. If he could he would try to help her. She looked bad, horrible even. She fell backwards, onto her back, her face seemed to cringe in pain. What's happening? He tried to step closer but she suddenly stood and started to verbally attack him. He blinked in confusion. Finally he bared his teeth, eyes glinting in pain, "Why are you attacking me? What did I ever do to you?" He lashed his tail taking a step towards her to face her, less than a mouselength away. "Why would I have reason to attack you? As for my clan? So what if my ancestors made mouse brained mistakes, that doesn't mean that I am that way." He swallowed sadly, even if Ghostpaw seemed strong and powerful that didn't mean he was all that. He was strong but that didn't mean he had all of the advantages. He gazed into Tsunami's eyes, wondering in the back of his mind if she would notice that he was half blind.

tsunami. or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love
"I...sorry? ... Why are you attacking me? What did I ever do to you? Why would I have reason to attack you? As for my Clan? So what if my ancestors made mouse brained mistakes, that doesn't mean that I am that way." Tsunami blinked at him. She realized that, while she had felt like ripping her head open in her nausea, he had come forward and the soft scent of alarm filled the air. She sheathed her claws and sat. "Because. It's not the Gathering. You shouldn't be at Fourtrees. I shouldn't be here. You'd attack me because I'm in WindClan. . . if you had any sense." Then she sighed, suddenly not in the mood to defend her territory, or any territory. "Whatever." She glanced around, taking everything in. "I haven't been to a Gathering yet," she mewed invitingly, "have you?" While she waited for his response, her eyes flicked from where she sat to the Great Rock. "I'm bored."Sky blue stared at gray, investigating carefully. Her eyes were slowly getting lighter than what they had been. Tsunami stood and shook her pelt, snow flying to each side. Her paws left small holes where she stepped as she made her way to the half gray, half white rock. "Come on! Let's be leaders for a day!" She laughed. Why was she suddenly being so friendly? Just a moment ago she'd been wrinkling her nose at Ghostpaw's scent, and now she was breathing it in and welcoming it. "What's your name, anyway? I've never seen you before. I'm Tsunami." Her claws unsheathed themselves as she placed both of her front paws on the side of the rock. "Brr. It's cold." Her paws fell and she crouched, claws still prepared to grab onto the tall rock. She jumped. Her front paws stretched out before her, hind beneath her. The leap had only gotten her maybe two thirds of the way up. Her right paw found a small ledge; the one her left grasped broke off within two seconds of her touching it. Tsunami tumbled back down and onto her back, laughing at her clumsiness. "Are you going to join me or what?" [/blockquote]

"Because. It's not the Gathering. You shouldn't be at Fourtrees. I shouldn't be here. You'd attack me because I'm in WindClan. . . if you had any sense." She had managed to sit up and, amazingly, sheath her claws. He sat back on his haunches and gazed at her as she spoke, she seemed so sure of what she was saying, yet he didn't know what to think. "Have you?" Huh?
Blinking dumbly at her for a moment he realized what she had asked. "Oh...uh. No. No I haven't." He swished his tail over his paws, the gray/brown tail covering his darker gray paws, almost completely hiding them from view. "I'm board" He tilted his head to the side and blinked She's...random. "Come on! Lets be leaders for a day!" He pushed himself to his paws and watched as she moved over to the rock, placing her paws on the cold stone. Tsunami? Nice name...pretty, and...unique He padded forward and stopped next to her, "I'm Ghostpaw." He watched her as she took a leap at the rock. He watched as she climbed, but he wasn't thinking about her at the moment, he was wondering if he would be able to keep his balance if he tried to climb. He watched as a piece of rock fell to the ground at his feet, pieces scattering about. Finally she fell and his eyes widened, but she just laughed. He smiled as she spoke, perking his ears and watching her. "I think I've fallen once to many times today." [/blockquote][/blockquote] ...every now and again

tsunami. and i'll no longer be a capulet.
"Oh...uh. No. No I haven't... I'm Ghostpaw. I think I've fallen once to many times today."
"That's too bad." Tsunami frowned. "And no, you haven't. I'm sure I've stumbled more times than you have! Put a little fun in those boring old bones of yours. . . or do you plan on becoming an elder before you get the chance to become a warrior? Ghostpaw, elder of ShadowClan! Too lazy to even finish his training, had to become an elder and is now a mere ten moons. Only used for taking up space and wasting prey!" She purposely insulted him, but her tone was light and she was clearly just playing. She turned and jumped again; this time, her paws caught the tip of the rock and she actually had something to hold onto. Her shoulders seemed to stretch as far back as they could go in their strain. She meowed in soft pain, clenching her teeth shut and closing her eyes just as tightly as she scrabbled against the stone. Five seconds later. . .
She was up. Her grip loosened too quickly and she tripped over her own paws, cast halfway off the rock. At least this time she could get up faster. Twitching, Tsunami sighed and pulled the rock to her, even though she was actually pulling herself to it. When she got on the rock, her paws worked quickly to clear away a spot in the snow. "I'll even make sure you don't fall, Ghostpaw. Come on. Liven up! It's a beautiful, warm-- for this weather, at least-- day, and it'd be nice to have some fun. The apprentices in WindClan are boring-- and that stupid Runningpaw is always so depressed and clumsy. It's as if she's half blind! And lately she's been moping around, repeating the same two sentences over and over. But whatever. You are going to come up here right now and we'll see who can knock the other off sooner. Come on! It'll be fun, I promise." [/blockquote]

The large Siamese tom shifted from paw to paw as she spoke. Huh? Stumbled more times than I have? He looked around nervously as she tried jumping at the rock again. What if she makes it? I'll have to try! He shivered slightly and looked around for something to do to escape. But yet, there was no luck. The snow seemed to be glowing in the moonlight, it seemed silvery, perhaps this wasn't going to be too bad after all. Turning he watched as the young she cat jumped up onto the rock. She seemed to hang in mid air before shifting and finally being able to pull herself onto the rock.
Mouse dung! He shook his pelt and padded to the base of the rock, stood gazing at the young she cat as she sat upon the rock. "No...No I can't Tsunami" He swallowed nervously and shook his head trying to convince himself that he was going to be okay. He looked back up to her, his eyes glinting with determination. It's as if she's half blind! And lately she's been moping around, repeating the same two sentences over and over. But whatever. You are going to come up here right now and we'll see who can knock the other off sooner." Ironic He gave a small half smile and crouched, launching himself upwards, at first he fell, sprawling out on the snow. Finally he was able to leap to the edge of the rock, scratching and scrabbling at the smooth surface, it took him a few agonizing moments before he was able to safely lay down on the rock.

tsunami. shall i hear more, or shall i speak at this? "No . . . no, I can't, Tsunami."
She smirked at his response. "Are you afraid?" She asked with a flick of her tail. Tsunami gave a satisfied smile when he pulled himself up. "See? That wasn't that bad." Pulling an ear back, she tilted her head. "Was it? Are you okay?" Panic edged her voice and she took a step at him. No. He's a ShadowClanner; he'd kill you if you got too close. Just back away and wait for him to recover. Claws clicking on the stone as she backed up and sat, she waited for him to stand without speaking. The moon was covered by a cloud for a moment; she glanced up in fear. Does StarClan not want us to be at Fourtrees? Or on the stone, more specifically? The fur on the back of her neck rose and her blood froze. Then the cloud faded off to the other side of the sky, somewhat quickly. Relief flooded through her and she smiled back at Ghostpaw.[/blockquote]

((Hey sorry I haven't been here, I've been sick)) GhostpawTo be blind it to not see with your heartI'm not afraid to cry....
The young Siamese tabby point huffed a heavy sigh before clawing at the stone and pulling himself towards the center. Pausing as the moonlight disappeared he gazed towards the sky, eyes widening in worry. No...don't be angry! he thought desperately. Swallowing nervously he paused and looked to Tsunami, she had asked him a question. "Um...I'll be fine. I just get worried if I have to jump long distances or if I'm facing more than one opponent." He looked away as if to say 'ah curse I shouldn't say this' but he did anyway. He wanted to trust Tsunami, and silently he hoped he could. "I'm half blind." With that he looked from the stars and moon back to Tsunami to judge her reaction.
