Even with the bright, silver moonlight shining down the forest surrounding the barn was bathed in darkness. A light breeze would occasionally shake a nearby bush or tree, causing a light rustling sound. Other then that, it seemed that nothing else stirred.
Pale blue eyes stared out of the shadows. One smoky gray paw came into view, then another, and soon it seemed that the small body of the young she-cat evaporated out of the shadows. Her ears flicked back once. She could tell she was being followed. The presense of another cat was strong in the air, making the cat suppress a light shudder. She didn't bother to see who was behind her, she just continued to the barn.
The she-cat entered the barn, her paws making the old wooden floor creek and whine. Her pelt bristled, for she wasn't used to all those noises. She could sense a storm was coming, and this was the best place to take shelter. Catiously, she manuvered into the barn toward a spread out hay bale, with pieces of hay and straw littering the floor below it. She jumped to the top of the hay bale, and, making sure there were no rats around, she curled into a ball and closed her eyes to rest.

Poison's dark brown orbs were alight with amusement, he has so happy of the new cat here. Just another toy for him to mess with. The young yet wise cat was soaked and his eyes also reviled a bit of boredness. The rain had came, masking his scent yet also making his dark tabby fur dripping with cold liquid. He was originally going to stow away in the old spook barn but decided to have a little fun after discovering the she-cat.
Poison's paws beat silently against the wood. This place was his element and he was the ruler. The tabby tom flicked a relaxed tail. Presently he padded up behind the gray she-cat. As she came into view he got a good look at her. 'Pretty, but not my type. Too tentative.' He thought to himself. Now Poison came closer. His eyes glinted in the faint light and he blinked. "Ello little kitty." He said, fangs glinting also.

Cinderwing's pale blue eyes shot open. Her eyes landed on the tabby tom, and from the looks of it he'd been out in the rain. The moonlight glinted off the tom's fangs and eyes, making it hard for Cinder to get a good look at him. She narrowed her eyes, studying the tom.
"Hello" She mewed, flicking her ear boredly. Cinder let out a faint hiss at the words, "Little kitty."
"Can I help you with anything?" She growled.

A sandy coloured cat lithly hopped onto a broken board, nails sticking out and threatening to puncture her delicate feet as the gracefully stepped around them. As she continuedto walk, she elevated until the board became steep, forcing her to claw her way up a bit. Finally she came to a stopping point on the top of the barn-- The hayloft. Silver moonlight poured in, and the sweet smells of straw made it easy for her to become comfortable.
"That's no little kitty, she's a tough one, I wouldn't want to be caught on her bad side." She voiced, almost sounding threatening as her eye glinted coldly.

"Awe, I'm only messing with you. "Poison said and grinned. the she-cat was gray with a light tint of blue. Probley the moonlight was what caused the color. She seemed decent enough if Meer had praised her, well warned him anyways. The tabby tom was streaching out a long claw and lookig at the deadly beauty. Then the wing blew through the dark old barn slightly. A scent reached Poison's nose, one that made him scrunch up his little nose. A discusting and rank scent not intended for the loner terras. Clan cat.
"You, you are a clan cat!" he said snarling slightly. "Why would you come to this place and not flee to your stinky little clan huh?" He slight breath had now become a full fledged snarl. The young, sly tom's pelt was shiny with little droplets of water that had by now dried up a little. His mouth was pasted into a feral snarl and his eyes were alit with fury. 'How could a clan cat come to the loner territory?'

Cinderwing smiled at Meer, purring at what was probably praise. Flicking her tail absentmindedly, she turned to look back at Poison. What was he doing? She watched as his nose scrunched up, and he snarled at her.
"You, you are a clan cat!" he said snarling slightly. "Why would you come to this place and not flee to your stinky little clan huh?"
Cinder let out a hiss and got to her paws, her pelt bristling and her claws unsheathing. Who did this cat think he was?
"I am a new recruit," she growled, "It doesn't matter whether you want me here or not, because I'm staying. This is my home now."
Cinderwing turned away from the tom.

Meer suddenly felt full of fury, and her fur spouted into a spiky terrain. The wind blew at her and made the monlight distort on her pelt, making her seem almost likea ghost. She hissed angrily, "Poison! You leave her alone! Cinderwing is one of my best friends, and I'm not going to let you taunt her. You can either shut your mouth or I'll claw it off myself."advancing towards the cat while descending from the long board she had climbed up on. She bounced down, and landed lightly in front of the tom, eye glowing with aggravation.
Leaning forward, she spoke so only Poison could hear. "Don't forget, you used to be a soft kittypet[if that's wrong ignore it.] It's taken me this long to recruit her, I'm not willing to watch you scare her off. Got it puzzy cat?" Her fangs clicked beside his ear as a warning.

"Geez, grumpy she-cats." Poison said under his breath. He knew he shouldn't be so hostile towards Cinder. She was probably just tired and stressed. Poison's glare turned into a relaxed and calm gaze. Then he flipped a smug grin on his face.
"So, you liking the luxury of being free?" He meowed and then flopped down on a pile of hay. "Better that listening to a leader and having to oblige to the little rules of clans." Poison said but then snarled at the words "Leader" and "rules" like they were nasty prey. "If you are a clan cat ya might as well live with kitty-pets." He said and then flipped his tail back and forth.

A soft pattering echoed through the barn as a small tan shape made it way along the top shelf, where no hay was placed, though many bird nested, as normal cats couldn't reach it. If you looked closer though, small grey feathers hung from the she-cats mouth, background with a wide grin, and dark scarlet eyes. Her paws beared scythe like claws, clinking along the barn board as she stopped at a missing plank in her path. A jump might prove fatal, as below had a slab of farmers stone, and a good at least 5 meter drop. But the she=cat calming sunk her claws into the rotting wood, and climbed down, one paw at a time, head first.
Once safely on the dark grey stone, scorpion paused to clean the blood stains from her dark tan pelt, a amused glitter in her eyes as she spied Poison. " Hullo!" She mewed, leaping down into the soft hay. Her own poison barbed tail curled up above her back, posed to take action, like it always was. She was still above them by one board, which would be difficult for a normal cat to reach. " Hows the weather down there?"

Poison looked lazily at the new arrival. She was a tan colored she cat and from the looks of it had just took the life of a bird. Nice. The tabby tom flicked brown orbs up at the cat. With her question he let out an amused laugh. She must have been the same age as him.
"Actually, the weather is just brilliant here. How bout up there?" He meowed. As the tom spoke teeth stained red glinted in the faint moonlight flooding the barn hollow. Poison stood and shook out his pelt. It was wet and clammy from being out in the rain.

Cinderwing smiled, relaxing a little. Her fur lay flat, and her claws slid back into their sheathes. She laid back down delicately, flicking her tail absentmindedly. Her eyes strayed back up to the tan she-cat. Cinder smiled, but said nothing. Letting out a yawn, she decided to see what would happen.

A mew of amusement erupted from Scorpions mouth, and her bloody red eyes glimmered in mischievous. Scorpion was a pretty she-cat, and toms often followed her, until she lay her barbed tail upon them. She now flexed it, admiring the pointed tip. Like a snake, she could deliver as much poison she wanted, sometimes a lot, sometimes dry, no poison at all. When hunting she did it that way, thought most prey dropped into her paws with a dry stab. She enjoyed the feeling of death under her claws, and relished more, even though she was full. Acting uniquely generous, she let out a mew.
" Fine, its quite fine, are either of you feeling like a piece of fresh-kill? On the house."
With a swift contraction of her powerful leg muscles, she leapt up onto the rock shelf, waiting patiently below the lost barn board. Sheets of rain spattered against the roof, and the hoot of an owl echoed out from the distance, and the sound of feathers ruffling came from the top shelf. Scorpion craned her neck, peering down at the other loners.
