Autumn paced the border of her territory, staring into the forest. Her pace slowed, and finally she stopped. Taking a deep breath she spoke to herself. "You have to go Autumn. You won't last much longer without food. You can't afford to wait for him anymore." Autumn still didn't place a paw in the direction of the forest. I could just go and try to see him, she thought to herself. She shook her head. The gnawing hunger in belly prevented her from leaving the boundary but another emotion kept her from going in. "Your pride will be the death of you." She said to herself. She took another deep breath. "Alright, if he isn't her by moon high, you go and find something to eat."

Longwhisker scented hunger in the distance. He looked at his small vole that he was about to eat and shook his head. He picked it up and padded aways until the silver tom came into the distance of a amber she-cat. He didn't know her, but ever since he became a loner, he was acting more nice than usual. Pushing the short furred limp creature over to the hungry she-cat he mewed, "You look hungry." His voice was soft as he conutuined his talking. "Eat." He nodded down at the vole as his face showed no look of kindness, he still felt it leaping at his heart to be kind to all those in need. "What are you doing in the kittypet land all alone? It is dangerous, most of BloodClan has failed, but they may rise again."

Autumn jumped as she saw Longwhisker padded out of the underbrush. She ate a bit of the vole quickly and passed the rest to Longwhisker. "Thanks, but I was just about to go hunting." She murmered, looking slightly ashamed . She didn't like accepting charity from strangers. She kept some of her face turned away where the fire had scarred her the worst. Her messy pelt hid most of the damage on the side that Longwhisker was sitting. "I'm here guarding what was once my home." She didn't mention she had also been waiting for someone. When she heard Bloodclan she looked at him through her fire colored eye. "What's Bloodclan?" The name gave her an urge to shiver, but she fought it, keeping her expression worry free.
