Cinnamon~
Silky blue moonlight shifted through the tree tops, casting veins of dark shadows along the ground. Twolegs rummaged around inside their large square dens, grumbling to each other in their low, thunder-like voices. Outside the creak of wood was created as a willowy young she-cat padded along the old, rotting fence that separated the forest from the Twolegplace. Small wood chips broke off and landed on the ground with a barely audible snap as it hit the hard, packed earth. The breeze whispered through the trees, alerting an owl who took flight in a silent wisp of its long grey wings. Its long feathered shape disappeared among the trees. In the sky, the silverpelt was alive with shining, twinkling stars that looked like tiny speckles of spray on a winter black river.
Cinnamon pricked her thin, triangular ears, listening to the noises of the forest, every snap a twig or scuffle of prey was known to her. Although she knew she didn't belong here, she could not resist the sweet scent of plants that wafted through the air, almost thick enough that she could see it. Cinnamon blinked her almond shaped lime green eyes. They stood out like emeralds from her deep, rich coat of red-brown fur. The long strands swayed. Her father, she knew, would not approve of her straying around the kittypet homes, but when she was sitting up here, above the rest of the forest, it was hard to resist from returning here nigh after night to watch the small beadlets of dew form on the grass, sparkling with dim light.
Cinnamon froze, eyes staring upwards as stars twirled down toward her, growing brighter and brighter...what was happening? Suddenly, a faint orange glow appeared on her slender snout, quivering and buzzing, causing her to stumble over her paws, almost falling from her perch. The small lights she had seen were fireflies, not stars falling from the sky. A smooth purr of amusement shivered through her throat. The small bugs glided through the air, gelatinous forms sparkling on and off through the air. A cold gust ripped through the forest temporarily extinguishing the bright aurora. Cinnamon curled her long plumed tail tightly around her hind legs as the pale orange lanterns once again filled the sky.

Wolf padded along the cool, night-hued grass. Mabye one of the only things he did not fear were the silent fireflies lifting and falling in the air. He lifted his nose to one that had dipped in it's dance. Quickly, it spireled upward again. The marbled tabby twitched his whiskers with pleasure. The little, star-like bugs were gentle and comforting to the fearful cat. Wolf sighed. He wasn't the sort of cat that was supposed to be a rogue. Wolf shook his head to chase the thought away, and jumped up to swat at one of the flies. He didn't notice the reddish she-cat as he twirled closer and closer to the fence she was perched on. For a fleeting moment, Wolf forgot his fears. He leaped up as high as he could to catch one of the firelit dancers. He missed and landed on his paws again, a delighted look on his face. "Rain should chase the fireflies." he mewed. "If it helps me to forget to be scared, it'll help make her nicer."

.:Forgive, dont forget.:. A wide yawn pried her jaws open. The dazzling display of fireflies were tiring her eyes, each small lantern of light reflecting in her eyes which mirrored everyone of them. Cinnamon began to feel a burn of frustration bristling her fur. Her father had gone off hunting, leaving Cinnamon here. If he complained of Cinnamon going to the twoleg place, she would have something to hurl back at him. A russet paw flashed through the air like red lighting, snatching a small glow bug in between her curved ivory claws, then held it down against the soft, rotting wood outline of the fence. She could feel its desperate squiggles as it attempted to get away, and watched as slowly, the embers of its fire faded out, like it had been doused with sprinkles of water.
Cinnamon lifted her paw, feeling guilty at bringing her anger out on the helpless insects. The firefly quickly took off, its light blinking on as it rushed among its kind. Just as it buzzed through the air, she saw a large brown paw whizz through the air toward it. Not in the mood for her little firefly to be hurt, she let out a violent screech that cut through the trees and dropped down upon the cat who had attempted to catch the firefly. She saw glimpses of ruffled mackerel tabby fur through the buttery moonlight, deep shadows carving out the other cats shape as though he had been sculpted from stone. His yellow eyes glistened in the dappled light, a dark maroon ring surrounding each pupil. " Who are you." Cinnamon hissed, her voice filled with sinister octaves.

Wolf
Wolf jumped up five fox-lengths, his pelt fluffing out with extreme alarm. He whirled around to face the she-cat. His voice caught in his throught. "W-w-w-wolf." he whimpered.
