It was early morning; the sun rise was just peeking over the horizion . Sending beautiful colors sparkling this way and that, it was so beautiful. Pinks, Reds, Oranges, it was amazing. The grass was painted with dew; along with the leaf on the bushes and on the trees. Birds sang their beautiful love songs; high notes, low notes. Do, ray, me, fa, so ,la, ti ,do , ti la ,so ,fa , me , ray, do. First octave, second octave, third octave, forth. The darken sky was in a battle with the light; battling for dominance. Yet the light was winning; like normal. Just like every night darkness triumphed over the light. It was a never ending war between good and bad, yin and yang.

Eclipsepaw awoke beside her best friend, her love, her beloved. Her grey dappled pelt reflected th light; making her eyes look lavender and her pelt a light shade of pink. Her eyes shone with happiness; and for once in her life. She didn't fear the future; of what would happen once the two got back. She just Laughed. Her voice angelic and beautiful; "Look Sleeppaw We are are here!" she purred as she jumped up onto a fence.

Sleeppaw woke up to Eclipsepaw cheery voice. He got up, walked over the sunlight and just relaxed there for a minute. Then he looked at Eclipsepaw. She was beautiful with the light shining on her." Yes, we are here, away from all the pressures and worries." He jumped on the fence with Eclipsepaw and stared out into the fenced lawns and paved thunderpaths." Where should we stay? We need a deserted place where wecna easily get in and out of. Then, Sleeppaw saw this great wooden box up in a tree at about fence high." What about that box in that tree. It looks sturdy and it doesn't seem like anyone has used it in a while."

Eclipsepaw paw purred at Sleeppaw's enthusiasm. I brought her spirits up about the whole kitty-pet thing. Eclipsepaw watched as Sleeppaw brought in bedding and things to bring a since of peace to teh bare box. Silently Eclipsepaw promised herself to find hers so that she that it would remind her of Badgersoul's den. Eclipsepaw missed Badgersoul already. Eclipsepaw loved the smell of lavender; Badgersoul would lace his bedding with lavender and let her sleep with him when she had a nightmare. Eclipsepaw wondered how long her and Sleeppaw would stay together; silently she wished they could stay together forever. Just here in the two-leg's small nest. "H-Hey Sleeppaw; what should we do first? We should look a-around for Kitty-pets so we can have connections if we have to come back here. We should also start looking for prey" she meowed. Planning ahead like she usually did.

Sleeppaw relaxed as Eclipsepaw walked into the Twoleg-ridden box. Eclipsepaw was right, it smelled awful! the Twolegs must've been here for a while because it didn't seem like the scent was going away."We just need to...make it feel a bit more like home."Sleeppaw dashed out to grab some leaves, moss, and twigs, then he pulled them all up to the big box in the tree and spred them out.What should we call this place, since we are going to stay here for a while."

Eclipsepaw licked Sleeppaw's ear passionately, "Talking to Kitty-pets " she purred softly in her angelic voice. Eclipsepaw nuzzled Sleeppaw once again, she could believe how good it felt. TO be in love that was; why couldn't medicine cats enjoy it? Badgersoul used to tell her that love was an art. Love had to be practiced by the ones who wanted to find out who they were; but as medicine cats. Starclan is Their art; and they know from them who they are inside. Eclipsepaw 's big beautiful blue eyes shinned with happiness; knowing now that she was aloud to practice the art of love. "I-I love you" She whispered. Rolling the word love over her tung as if it was a new taste. She loved how it felt as it escaped her lips; how it felt when it escaped her very soul.

Sleeppaw pressed his nose onto Eclipsepaw's head as she nuzzled her nose into his pelt." Okay, I'll go hunting then."Sleeppaw was about to walk off to start his hunt as Eclipsepaw said I love you. Then Sleeppaw walked back over to Eclipsepaw, licked her ear, and said, "I love you too. Now, go meet our new neighbors!

Eclipsepaw giggled as she felt Sleeppaw lick her ear. It felt so nice; everything felt so right when she was with Sleeppaw, why did she leave Thunderclan. 'Right! Be safe Sleeppaw!" she meowed to him before jumping down from their home. Eclipsepaw, while she was out, would look for Lavender and other herbs to make the house homey. Eclipsepaw stared farther and farther from Sleeppaw and her home. As she walked farther she began to become more and more uncomfortable. As she strayed farther she came across a little two-leg kit. It murmured something and walked towards her. Eclipsepaw felt fear take over her body; her body didn't move at all. The kit moved it's bare paws down Eclipsepaw's spine and it felt surprisingly good. Soon a Two-leg queen walked out of it's nest and noticed Eclipsepaw. She laughed, and walked over to pet Eclipsepaw also. After a while the queen went inside and brought out a saucer of white liquid. Hungry, Eclipsepaw tasted the liquid. It was delicious. Quickly she started to lap the cream up.

Sleeppaw watched as Eclipsepaw made her way through the Twoleg places. He decided to hunt on Thunderclan territory, seeing as no patrol should be out right now. So, Sleeppaw softly landed on the grass below the other side of fence. He walked in a little ways in Thunderclan Territory before spotting a mouse. He quickly got inot his hunting crouch, stealthed towards it, and pounced on it. I'll give this one to Eclipsepaw, it's nice and plump.
He thanked Starclan for this food and he also thanked them for letting him and Eclipsepaw be together. Sleeppaw quickly ran back to there little home and dropped the mouse there, then ran back out in the forest to find something for himself. He smelled many wonderous things as he went through one particular area of Thunderclan. Vole, Mouse, Pigeon, and Cat all combined. Sleeppaw decided to follow the voles scent and quickly found the little beast scurrying between some trees. Sleeppaw quickly killed the vole and started running back to his new home. When he got home, he decided to wait for Eclipsepaw with her meal here.

Eclipsepaw finished the meal quickly; it was deliciouses but didn't really fill her up. The queen laughed and patted Eclipsepaw's head. Eclipsepaw didn't meet any cats; but at least she met human and she learned that her peers were wrong. Two-legs wern't horrible beings. They were very nice. Eclipsepaw noticed lavender in the corner of the Two-legs yard. Quickly she ran over and picked them the ran back towards home. Eclipsepaw slowly jumped back up the tree and purred at the sight of Sleeppaw. She set the lavender down and trotted over to him; "I-I couldn't find any Kittypets. But I did meet a-a nice Two-leg" she said shyly. Eclipsepaw felt a bit bad that she hadn't found any kittypets when Sleeppaw asked her to find them, "Sorry"

Sleeppaw watched as Eclipsepaw came in with a sad look on her face. Sleeppaw presumed that she didn't find any kittpets to talk to." That's OK, atleast we have some friendly twolegs here." Sleeppaw pushed the mouse to Eclipsepaw and said," you hungry?" Sleeppaw started munching down on his vole while looking at Eclipsepaw."You know, we still havn't really named this place yet. Got any ideas?" Sleeppaw started spreading the lavender onto Eclipsepaw's sleeping area.

Eclipsepaw bent over to eat the game Sleeppaw had brought her; her blue eyes sparkling in the light the seeped into the little den." W-well- this is the only Two-leg nest I have seen up so hight off the ground.. so how about the S-Sky nest; or Sky C-Cavern" She said. Feeling strange deciding for once in her life. Eclipsepaw usually always followed what her peers said, never did she decided for herself. It made her realize how pathetic she really was. Eclipsepaw's ears flatted agented her Skull in embarrassments. Eclipsepaw didn't know why Sleeppaw liked her so much. She wasn't brave, she wasn't smart, she wasn't fast, she wasn't really good at anything. Eclipsepaw finished her game, but her eyes still shone with a strange sadness.

He was relaxing in the Sky Nest with his beloved, eating, being all comfortable." I don't think I want to ever leave this place" Sleeppaw wan't completely lying there. He and eclipsepaw could stay here forever...but is that long enough? As he looked in Eclipsepaw's eyes he saw sadness." What's wrong Eclipsepaw? Something on your mind?"

"N-n-no! I am just fine!" she meowed putting on a plastic smile; putting on a mask to hide her insecurity. Eclipsepaw licked her cream colored chest; "There i-is still so much we need to do" she whispered mainly to herself. Eclipsepaw planned it inside her head; everything they needed to do. "W-we should claim Sky nest a-as our own... then we should make o-our selves known to the o-other kittypets, so they k-know we live here." Eclipsepaw wondered how long Sleeppaw would stay here, as long as he was with her she would be ok. Yet, maybe she could stay here while he went to Thunderclan. That way it would be easier for them to sneak. Eclipsepaw could be a gypsy; a loner, a kittypet, yet she would always and forever follow Starclan. The thought made Eclipsepaw have butterflies in her stomach.

Sleeppaw knew something was troubling Eclipsepaw, but decided to just let it go. Then Sleeppaw heard Eclipsepaw's last remark and said,"Didn't we already try that" Sleeppaw laughed. Sleeppaw was thinking of when he would go back to Thunderclan for his training.
He wanted to be a warrior real bad, but he wanted to be with Eclipsepaw always." I don't think I can go back to Thunderclan...if I do, I'll miss you too much and I wouldn;t be able to think straight. I mean, in 3 moons we are officially old enough to be warriors. I know you still want to be part of Starclan, and so do I, but I dont think I can go back to Thunderclan anymore." Sleeppaw felt sick saying that but really, there was no reason for him to go back, he had everything he wanted and needed right here.

Eclipsepaw stared at Sleeppaw; her blue eyes staring with worry. "N-No! You can't, you a-always wanted to be a warrior! I won't let you ruin that for s-someone as...worthless as me" She started out strong but as she went on her voice was reduced to a whisper. "When were kits; you were so excited about being apprentice... knowing that you are happy... that is more important then anything else in this world". she whispered. Feeling stupid for throwing her emotions and dream out into the deadly world outside her own mind. Eclipsepaw wrapped her tail around her for comfort, "S-Sorry" she said.

Sleeppaw was proud that Elipsepaw actually spoke without doubting herself, but he was saddens by her answer."You are not worthless. Don't ever say that. Yes, I want to be a warrior very badly, but it can wait. This is more important." Sleeppaw finished his speech with immense ferocity that almost spooked himself. Sleeppaw walked over to Eclipsepaw to curl up into a ball beside her." Let's get some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow."

Eclipsepaw looked down at Sleeppaw; her eyes shone with doubt. She watched as Sleeppaw slowly rolling into a tight ball beside her; she watched his flank rise and fall. Listen closely for his heart beat. How strange was it; being away from the open skies. Usually Eclipsepaw slept right under the stars, listening to Badgersoul's quite breaths. Eclipsepaw sighed and curled up next to Sleeppaw; allowing the sent of lavender to wash over her. "Night" she whispered softly as she slowly went into a fitful sleep.

Sleeppaw awoke from a wonderous sleep. The sun was shining, the birds were sings, the light was coming into the Sky Nest in the most perfect way. Everything seemed right. He got, stretched, and stared at Eclipsepaw sleeping. Oh, how beautiful she was right now, all peaceful and unscathed by all worries and doubts. He was about to wake her up, but decided to go out and hunt to get some food before she woke up. So, Sleeppaw trotted out of the Sky Nest and onto Thunderclan territory. He smelled the air to make sure no patrols were out. Faint scent, probably a couple hours ago. Sleeppaw thought. So he friskly swept through a certain area of Thunderclan to search for food. He quickly smelled a mouse and a magpie. With mych ease he cornered and killed both of the prey. He ran back to the Sky Nest hoping that Eclipsepaw wasn't up yet and placed the food in a stack near her. Sleeppaw got into a comfortable position and awaited Eclipsepaw's awakening.

Eclipsepaw slowly opened her big blue eyes; "Humm-" The smell of prey entranced the little apprentice as slowly she got up to shake her pelt. The sight of Sleeppaw made her purr. He had gotten game- "Sleeppaw..." the words seeped out of the shy apprentice's mouth before she could contain them. She smiled and licked his muzzle.

Eclipsepaw blinked a few times; in awe by Sleeppaw. He was so handsome; Eclipsepaw's eyes narrowed; big blue eyes shinning full of passion. Her white; grey dappled pelt shone in the mourning sun. The song of birds filled the apprentice's ears making the moment even more perfect. How lucky was she? To have such a perfect cat to be hers. How lucky was she to be able to meet such a handsome, kind, funny tom. How perfect the moment was; sun sparkling in. Birds singing. Everything about the moment- it was like a fairy tale. So perfect; so perfectly in love.

Eclipsepaw stared at Sleeppaw's firm body. He was growing so big; the muscles under his pelt toning his body perfect. Grey and white pelt laying strait down on his gorgeous, perfect body. His pelt was short; yet so handsome. His blue eyes, one tone darker then Eclipsepaw's eyes, Shinning bright. Oh how much Eclipsepaw loved this tom. One thing about not being a medicine cat apprentice was that she wouldn't have to hide her emotions under her work. busing herself so she would forget the lovely feeling she felt when she was at Sleeppaw's side.

Eclipsepaw purred softly; a small rumbling escaping from her soul. Slowly Eclipsepaw leaned over to nuzzle deep into his perfect pelt. "I love you so much" she whispered; voice muffled by Sleeppaw's grey and white pelt. She looked up at him; her blue eyes shinning with so many emotions. Her words the she through out into the world came deep from inside her heart; from her soul. She really did love Sleeppaw, so much. If there was anything in the world she could do; she would chose to stand by the tom's side. Slowly Eclipsepaw moved away from him and started to eat her game. The taste was even more deliciouses; just because of the moment. When she was done she reached up and touched her nose the Sleeppaw's ear, then giggled.

Sleeppaw purred as Eclipsepaw nuzzled his pelt. Sleeppaw loved this feeling. Everything seemed so right. All his troubles would just fall right off of him. He didn't care about the troubles and worries, only the good and loving times that he had with Eclipsepaw. As he knew Eclipsepaw had noticed, the birds were singing, there was a slight,cooling breeze coming through the Sky Nest, and everything was right with the world.

Sleeppaw could hardly hear Eclipsepaw's voice under his think pelt.I love you so much. Sleeppaw gleamed with happiness from these words. Sleeppaw whispered in reply," You know that I will always take care of you and love more than anyother cat."Then Sleeppaw started to eat his game with Eclipsepaw, and smiled as she touched his ear with he nose.

Bright amber eyes stared at the tall fences in awe. The apprentice's orange pelt, lit up like a flare in the sunlight, glistened while midnight black paws padding quickly across the ground. Twolegplace was such a strange place. All the scents... Orangepaw was amazed at the different scents, ranging from dogs, cats, plants and even twolegs. Curiousity had brought the young apprentice there that day. Without a mentor, Orangepaw felt almost free for awhile. She was free to explore, until her mentor was assigned to her. It was perfect. With ThunderClan's border so close to Twolegplace, the small ginger femme had figured this would be a good place to start.

There were so many things to explore. Orangepaw hadn't seen a dog before, though she heard they were almost like foxes, only bigger. Occasionally she'd see a kittypet, sunning atop their fencepost or mewling pitifuly at the back of their twoleg nest. Kittypets... She shook her head. Did they really enjoy this type of life? Orangepaw loved her freedom, and would always cherish it deeply. Never would she be content cooped up in a small twoleg nest.

Looking up, Orangepaw saw a large wooden box in a tree. Her ears pricked, curious toward the odd sight. Never had she seen anything like that before. She walked toward it, sniffing the tree cautiously as if it would bite her. As Orangepaw got closer, she could just barely make out the sound of voices. Surprised, Orangepaw decided to take a closer look. Claws unsheathing, the orange femme began her climb to the top. The box wasn't too high up, and she was up in a matter of moments. She was a little surprised at who she did see up there.

Both cats were gray and white, but the tom was recognizable to her. It was Sleeppaw. Orangepaw registered in her mind that the other cat was none other then Eclipsepaw.

"Sleeppaw?" she mewed, the surprise still in her voice. "What's going on?"[/color] [/blockquote]

Sleeppaw had heard and smelt a cat coming, but wasn't fast enough to intercept it. Luckily, it was Orangepaw. " Oh.....H-Hey Orangepaw!" Sleeppaw felt all-of-a-sudden nervous. Orangepaw was the first cat to find out where he and Eclipsepaw were staying, and he worried that it wouldn't be the last. " Orangepaw, this is Eclipsepaw. Eclipsepaw, this is Orangepaw, my best friend in Thunderclan." Sleeppaw decided to introduce them to each other, hoping that they would happily talk/agree. " As you have just found out, Eclipsepaw and I am staying in SkyNest. This is so that we can be together, without the Clans separating us." Sleeppaw knew it was probably hard for Orangepaw to see this. Disloyalty is the one, and only word to sum this up, but Love is the one, and only word that can overcome it.

Orangepaw could hear the surprise in Sleeppaw's voice. Suddenly she felt a bit uncomfortable, and her amber gaze moved to her paws. She looked up again as Sleeppaw introduced Orangepaw and Eclipsepaw. Orangepaw smiled at Eclipsepaw, flicking her tail in greeting. "Hi, Eclipsepaw, nice to meet you," she mewed, her voice friendly. Orangepaw became quiet as she listened to Sleeppaw's words. Staying in SkyNest... be together... Clans can't seperate them... Orangepaw looked up, surprised. Were Sleeppaw and Eclipsepaw living here forever?

"Oh." Was the first word she could mew. She wasn't sure what to say. "Do you mean, you won't be coming back to ThunderClan?" Orangepaw wanted to understand, but she couldn't. She'd never experienced love before. She knew that whatever decision Sleeppaw had made had to be a difficult one.[/color][/blockquote]

Eclipsepaw turned harshly at the sound of pawsteps. Fear took over her; they couldn't have just be found! It hadn't even been that long! Eclipsepaw knew that if she was caught by her father or Badgersoul- she would be crowfood. Eclipsepaw wasn't afraid of being punished more then how disappointed they would be in her. Eclipsepaw's blue eyes shimmered with fear, even when she looked over the orange she-cat. The she-cat didn't look much older then Eclipsepaw. Her orange pelt shinning like the sun itself.

Eclipsepaw took a few steps back; shivering. Eclipsepaw looked very small; her tail tucked behind her legs, ears flatten, fur fluffed out pathetically. She was truly a sight to behold. Orangepaw offered Eclipsepaw a friendly smile, noticing how nervous she was. Her mind started to wander back to ThunderClan. Others were probably wondering where she was. After all, anyone who had asked her where she was going, her response to them had been hunting. Never did hunting have to do with exploring. Suddenly realizing where she was, Orangepaw snapped out of her thoughts. Now she wasn't sure what to say at all. She felt out of place here, for some reason. Sleeppaw still hadn't answered her previous question, though Orangepaw felt that she knew the answer already.
"I... I probably can't stay much longer," she admitted quietly. "Everyone thinks I've been hunting, and it isn't always a short trek from Twolegplace back to camp."
Her eyes moved to her paws, flicking her half-tail like she normally did when nervous.
