"Very good." she said. "I am imprerssed." She looked around. 'There, in the bushes, is a rabbit." She got in a pouncing position. "Now, try to get close to the
rabbit."

"Yes Rubytail..." Sprinklepaw foolowed Rubytail's posession and then began to stalk the rabbit. Getting closer and closer she heard the racket it was making and opened her mouth to taste the scent that she would know now. suddenly she stepped on a twig that made a loud *CRACK* and the rabbit started to run and she chased after it. Going faster she caught up with it and pounced. Her paws landed on it's neck but the rabbit managed to scurry away because of her sore paw."Rats!" Spirnklepaw called kicking some dirt with her left paw.

Rubytail laughed then frowned. It was amusing to watch her apprentice run. "Sprinklepaw!" she called. She rna after her apprentice who was a little further down. She smiled kindly. "Are you okay?"

"OKay!" Sprinklepaw sqeaked and ducked down creeping torward the brown mouse. She pounced on it. Her paws at it's neck, head crawlind down until it finally came low enough to the mouse. Next she bit down at its neck. blood gushed out as Sprinklepaw opened her mouth to taste the smell of fresh-kill. She picked it up and brought it over to Rubytail, "I got it! I got it I got it!" she sqeaked.

Rubytail laughed as she saw the dead mouse. "Very impressive," she said. "Now, burry it and when you get back you can put it on the fresh kill pile and take some prey for yourself." She looked up at the sun. "Lets go," she said. "We can patrol tomorrow."

She followed Rubytail torward camp and went into the apprentice den as soon as she got into the camp. But first dropped her freshkill in the pile.[/glow]
