More Wandering

Mercury was traveling along the Riverclan border, muttering to himself and jumping into the air every few minutes. He was playing around, by himself since he didn't know anyone in his area. Landing after one of his flips, (Don't ask how a cat would be able to do it, because I'm unsure about it.) he landed and stood to find himself staring into a pair of blue eyes.

Padding along the Thunderclan/Riverclan boarder,Secretfur had noticed another cat.She walked up to him,her ice blue eyes examining him for a moment."Hello."She said,her voice soft and curious."Who are you?"

(Anyone can join, the more the merrier, and Mercury is a loner.)

"Hi there," Mercury said, his voice light and chiper. Today was one of his happier ones, though that could always change in an instant. "My name's Mercury, what's your's? I'm new to these parts, can you tell me anything you think I should know."He sat down patiently, a innocent ad blank look on his face.

Secretfur smiled."Hi Mercury,i'm Secretfur."She paused,"Like what?"She asked,sitting as well.

"I don't know," Mercury said thinking of something to ask. "How about where your from?"

At that question,Secretfur's face went solemn.Her eyes swam with unconcealed emotion and she stared at him threw pretty,sad ice blue eyes."I-..um,I-d rather not talk about my history..but right now I live in Thunderclan."Her voice sounded distant,even to her own ears and she hoped this cat wouldn't go running off like most did when she didn't want to talk about her history.

Mercury gave a slight shrug. It didn't matter if she didn't feel like talking about her past with him. He barely knew her, and didn't have the right to know if she chose not to tell him. Besides, he might be able to find out later. Outloud he asked another question."What's it like in Thunderclan?"

She gave a soft smile,the sadness slowly drowning out from her eyes."Thunderclan's great!"She said."It beats where I used to live.."

Mercury twitched slightly with curiosity. It was obvious he wanted to know where Secretfur came from. Still, he respected Secretfur's wish for privacy. "That's interesting. Do you know any stories from this area? I'm collecter of sorts when it comes to those things."

She shook her head slowly."I've not been here long..have you?"

"Nope," Mercury said. He sighed, looking into the distance, as if remembering something. "I'm a wanderer, and I always seem to come when something bad is going to happen." He turned to look back at Secretfur. "Is something bad going to happen here?" He asked.
