Meeting with Darkstorm #1 (please ask to join)

Snowpelt stepped lightly on the ice-covered river. Though it was close to Newleaf, the thaw had not yet come. He shivered as his paws went a bit dumb. This was the whtie tom's first visit with his would-be mate, and he was nervous. Jumping teh last few feet off the river, Snowpelt waited in a small hiding spot between two of the Sunningrocks and waited.

Darkstorm couldnt believe what she was doing, but ut had to be done. Even if it meant betraying her clan to meet him. The good side of this, no one was out on patrol, or hunting, so no one would spot her leaving. She slipped out of camp easly, making sure as to not make a sound. She was light on her feet. She headed to the River, then was approaching Sunningrocks. She found a small hiding spot, and found Snowpelt there, waiting.

Snowpelt smiled. " I'm glad you made it here safely, Darkstorm." He wondered if she remembered what he ahd told her about the light. He hoped he could be her beacon, someday. " Was there something you wanted to talk to me about?"

She hid back a smile. Her eyes were still narrowed because of how tired she was, but she instantly awoke, because she wanted to make a better impression. Why did she want to look good in front of him. What did he mean to her. "Actually, i was hoping you would have something to say. Oh and by the way. The light was clear."

" Good. I had hoped so." Snowpelt looked at his paws, blushing a bit. " You know, if we ever have kits...where would they go? How would I see them? I don't want to fight them, but I want to be proud of them, too..." He trailed off, hoping that Darkstorm would pcik it up and run with it.

Darkstorm didnt need to be asked twice. She thought quickly, but with care. She looked down and up. "Well, the only fair way, is to let you have them. That way, you wont have to fight them, and you can still be proud of them. I wont mind it." Then she realized she would have to fight them too. She looked Snowpelt diectly." if we have kits, i know i couldnt live to see them in another clan, and u couldnt either." she paused for a moment. "One of us would have to leave our clan for the other. That is if we have kits."

" Lots of ifs there, Darkstorm." Snowpelt chuckled, then sighed. " If I have to, I'd leave for ThunderClan. It'd be the only fair way. I couldn't let you see them be raised by anycat other then yourself. And besides," He licked between Darkstorm's ears. " I'd love for us to mentor them, even if Brownstar didn't trust me at first."

Darkstorm purred, "You are very brave, he would have to, and if he didnt, i would flay him! who wouldnt like you anyway?" she added smoothly. "I would love to have us together here." She saw the sun rising. "now i got to get back to my clan, you can meet me at the forest tomorrow. We there can announce it. That is, if you feel comfortable now."

Snowpelt shook his head. " No, not right this minute...I want to get comfortable with you before telling anyone. Who knows- by then, things may have changed." He stood, nuzzling against Darkstorm's cheeks. " Your light won't fade for as long as I live, Darkstorm. I promise by StarClan." Flicking his tail, he made his way up the river to the Twoleg bridge where the mcie dwelled. Maybe he'd catch a few and say he had been hunting. Turning for one last look at his mate, he called, " GOod bye, Darkstorm. Remember my promise." And disappeared through the reeds.

....."Snowpelt, how about we meet again in my clan tomorrrow, then we can hunt food, and talk more, if no one is looking i will let you sneak in some food for Riverclan too as well."

Snowpelt poked his white head back through the reeds. " You sure that's safe?" He asked quietly.

Darkstorm nodded,"It will be, i will make sure no one sees us. With your white pelt, you will blend in, i will hunt in the shadows, where i blend in. No one will notice us." Darkstorm blinked. "I will meet you tomorrow in the forest."(aka..the place below TC clearing/general are)

Snowpelt nodded. " Ok. See you there!" He disappeared once again through the reeds, happy and content. He found someone to love, they might have a future together....it was as if StarClan had finally heard his prayers.
