Northpaw heard her mentor calling her name and ran over to him. "Here Dragonheart! What're you calling for?" Northpaw had been wanting to ask Dragonheart something, but now she couldn't remember what it was. " I haven't seen Lightb-, Lightpaw around recently though."

" I'm here!" An orange blur came darting into the den to skid to a stop by Northpaw. Lightpaw smiled at her friend and nodded her head respectfully to Dragonheart. " What do you need us for, Dragonheart?" She meowed. The apprentice had fallen asleep by the river. The sun dancing on the water and the cool breeze coming from ThunderClan territory had made her drowsy. She shook her head to clear it and looked at Dragonheart again.

" Sunshower's been trainin' me hard, so I took a little break..." Lightpaw admitted. There were other problems, too, she knew- like Snowpelt. His mate and 2 of his kits had come to the Clan, and they seemed happy. But Snowpelt still had a problem with Dragonheart, and it bothered her...

"I need to tell you something later, don't let me forget." wispered Northpaw to her friend. Then she walked out of the apprentices den after Dragonheart. This is going to be so much fun! thought the silver apprentice, me 'n' Light's first patrol together!
