Deputies(Snowpelt and Angelfur)

Eagerly,Spiritpaw and Stormpaw crept up to the warrior's den.They both dropped into a stalking position..something they had seen their parents do.As they padded forward,bellies almost touching the ground,their minds wandered.'What would their mentors be like?Would they like them?'Question after question flew in and out of their tiny adolesent(SP?) heads making their paws tingle with excitment.Finally Storm reached the entrance first,hissing at her sister to stay quiet.Spirit pouted,not liking being told what to do..but following directions anyway.They stopped,standing behind two figures outlined against the dim lighting of the warrior's den.Spiritpaw crept up quietly behind Snowpelt,her smile broad and bright.Stormpaw did the same behind Angelfur,admiring her fur color.They both sat down,tails twitching with excitment and hope.They looked at each other and nodded...knowing exactly what to do.Being sisters,they were very close and almost knew what the other was thinking every moment.Smiles clashed with voices as their words rang out,hoping to scare their mentors."Snowpelt!Angelfur!"They broke down,laughing as they went in front of them."Did we scare ya?!"Spiritpaw asked,leaping up and down.Stormpaw sat still,and quietly stated,"If we did,we're sorry...we just wanted to know if we could train now..."She shuffled her paws along the dirt,hoping.

Snowpelt turned quickly to face the intruders, but a smile crossed his face when he saw it was his apprentice and her brother. He laughed. " Ah, Spiritpaw! I was just going to look for you! I thought we'd start training today. Want to go?" He rose stiffly and started towards the entrance to the den.
