The reeds rustled and snapped as Lilyfeather made her way, half trotting half tripping, to the moist area at the edge of the river where herbs grew and moss could be hunted. It was her monthly supply trip, when she would gather all the herbs she needed until the next moon, when she came back. The clumsy medicine cat reached over the water with an extended paw, catching a clump of wet moss as it came floating by and tossing it into a pile of assorted plants and berries she had collected. Again, she reached over. This time, she was not so lucky. The moss was too far away, and when she reached out for it, she found herself falling headfirst into the river.

Pheasantpaw, the tabby that came to RiverClan, mysteriously, had been padding along side the heavy, river. It looked calm, and the current was high. He seemed distracted about the rumor of rogues invading ShadowClan, and the thought kept coming to him, 'Is everybody okay? Did somebody die?'
As he heard a splash, Pheasantpaw turned his head towards the river to see what was the loud noise. To his shock, he saw a cat plunge into the river. It was hard to see who, at first, because the cat had gone head first in. The to the darand saw a large chunck of moss sitting on the bank of the river.[/colork cat's surprise, it was the RiverClan medicine cat. "Are you okay?'' He asked shortly after he ran over to the spot, where she had fallen in. Gazing over at her with his amber orbs, the dark colored tabby waited for her to speak.

Lilyfeather came up to the surface, moss and twigs tangled up in clumps on her head. Coughing slightly, she looked up to see a tom staring at her. "Ah!" She meowed, surprised. "I-I'm alright! Just sort of fell in!" Laughing uncomfortably, she reached up and pulled the moss from her wet head, picking twigs from it and tossing it back into the pile. "Sorry. I don't beleive we've been properly introduced. I'm Lilyfeather" Lilyfeather bowed her head pilotely, losing the remander of river junk. "Ah...."
