Sunshower led her apprentice to Sunningrocks, at the river where Thunderclan and Riverclan met. The scent of the marks that both sides had laid as boundaries blew on the wind, making it clear which side was which. She turned and waited patiently for Lightpaw to catch up.

The orange tabby bounded after her mentor to the ever familiar River. Sunningrocks watched them from the other side, an ever present sentenial. Lightpaw stopped by Sunshower and turned her face to look at her, waiting for instructions.

"I expext you know where we are." She said, motioning in the direction of the river. "This is the boundry between Thunderclan and Riverclan. Needless to say, don't cross it." She moved her head in the direction of the next border. "If we're done here now, we should move on to the next border. The one which we share with Windclan"

Lightpaw nodded, taking in the sight of the water. On the other side she watched as a ThunderClan trotted along the border. It was black, with one white tip on the tail. Scrunching her nose up at the scent that wafted over on a breeze, she turned tail and meowed to Sunshower, " Sure. I'd likle to check out the waterfall and gorge, and the Twoleg bridge, if you don't mind."
On the other side, the black cat shook her head. Nightfur, as she was known, mumbled to herself, " I can't believe it. Just can't believe it." Before walking away from the river and Sunningrocks, back to camp.

Sunnypelt saw the cats and jumped from her branch in the tree. She strode over to the two cats and yowled across "Hello! Just checkin' the borders. Now I won't do anything as long as you keep on your side of the river!"
